M&L for Removing loose concrete from chajjas, parapets, fascias, pillars, columns etc, not exc 2 sqm on plan and repairing the same with cement mortar (1:3)/Plain cement concrete type B-0 ,1:2:4 (12.5mm graded stone aggregate including required coat of white washing/ distempering/ weather proof paint / cement base paint to match the existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removing vegetation growth/shrubs(girth up to 30 CM), cutting in brick wall/concrete surface upto triple storey building, carefully without damaging the existing soil, vent, water supply pipe and removing roots of plants completely and filling the gaps with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, finished surface with existing finshes including all scaffolding, ladder etc as required, surface shall n.exc. 0.36 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing RCC nominal mix 1:2:4 incl necessary formwork and providing plaster in cement mortar (1:3) and two coats of finishes(as per existing finshes) over a coat of primer for RCC projected portion as in facias, fins upto a height of 50 cm facia etc incl demolition of existing and providing TMT bars if required, complete all as specified and directed. Note 1:- Length of fins, facias shall be measured irrespective of any thickness and height. Note 2:- Site for application is at various locations in patches and height varies up to 12 Meter, proper stable Scaffolding is must for working for the safety of resident of bldg and worker. Cost of all types of formwork, scaffolding and welded mesh shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surface and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper on wall over one coat of primer including one layer of 3mm thick wall care putty on new plastered surface and obtain smooth finish using sand paper, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces on wall/ceilling and applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion (water based) paint of dark colours/shade on walls (shade as approved by GE) over one coat of water based exterior primer to prepare the surface even and smooth on wall/ceiling surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of Acrylic (exterior) emulsion paint over one coat of acrylic primer including one layer of 3mm thick wall care putty for exterior on old scraped wall/ceiling surfaces and obtain smooth finish using sand paper complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorized applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit the documents “Memoradum of Understanding” (MoU) before starting the subject work with atleast one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract documents. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures as per site requirement. (d) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks etc as per site requirement. (e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Removing and existing furniture for painting work and replacing the same post painting work, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds etc.

Note (Contd...): (j) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodicals and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further subject work. The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (k) GUARANTEE OF PERIODICAL SERVICES: Periodical services against item No 22 & 28 of BOQ using mechanized equipment’s only executed under this contract are under the guarantee of contractor for 05 (Five) Years after the certified physical completion of work. Contractor is fully liable under this guarantee to rectify and redo all defective work intimated to him during this period including all type of materials and labour to the specifications catered for in the contract. In case contractor fails to rectify the defective work, Accepting officer shall get the rectification done as necessary at the risk and cost of contractor and recover the cost in full from the contractor. If the contractor consider that any additional treatment is required over and above that specified here in before in Schedule ‘A’, the same shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.
