Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

All kinds of soil .

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re- olling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres.

Deduct for not rolling with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes for banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Dismantling steel work in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead in:

Channels, angles, tees and flats

Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :

In cement mortar

Removing mortar from and cleaning stones and concrete articles (net quantity of stacks of cleaned materials will be measured):

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Dismantling barbed wire or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Removing & relaying in position precast concrete covers of size 60x120cm after repairs/ cleaning of RW drain including laying in proper alignment as per pavement concrete complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of rain water drain of 45x60cm size removing silt, soil, garbage and disposal of unserviceable material within 50m lead complete as directed

Cutting MS rod 10mm handle above old concrete covers (2nos of each cover)with metal cutter/ gas cutter. Grinding sharp edges of rods with grinder complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (note- No of covers repaired shall be measured for payment)

Covers of size 600x1200mm

Relocation of existing earthing chambers of size 45cmx45cm by making excavation of trench of 60cmx60cm and depth upto 30cm below existing level including refixing chamber at new level to match pavement level complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Removing & relaying in position precast concrete kerb stones of any size including dismantling stone excavating 75mm deep and 150mm wide layer below the stone laying concrete layer 1:4:8 ((1 Cement : 4 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) filling joints between joints with cement mortar 1:4(1cement :4 fine sand) complete as directed.

Cement concrete pavement with 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including finishing complete.

Extra for making chequers of approved pattern on cement concrete floors, steps, landing, pavements etc.

Extra for providing non metallic concrete hardener topping compound @ 2.00 kg/sqm NITOFLOR-Hardtop of fosroc or DR.FIXIT PIDITOP 333 or equivalent, broadcasting hardener compound on the fresh concrete floor top after water get evaporated from laitence of concrete pavement ( Note- The hardener compound shall be broadcast in two stages using 50% quantity each in perpendicular directions) finishing smooth top surface complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge)

Providing and fixing glass strips in joints of terrazzo/ cement concrete floors.

50 mm wide and 4 mm thick.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Coursed rubble masonry (Second sort) with hard stone supplied by the department in foundation and plinth with : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

(Note- Only stone shall be supplied free of cost and agency shall quote rate excluding stone)

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.

Electric resistance or induction butt welded tubes.

Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) :

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work.

Lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture

Cedit to the agency for material recovered under item no. 3 of steel work
