SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (Phase-I)
WATER-COOLED SCROLL TYPE CHILLER UNIT WITH R134a/407C REFRIGERANT: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of floor-mounted compact scroll-type chiller machine with nominal capacity 26 TR, suitable for ambient conditions complete with hermatic single/multiple scroll type compressors with independent circuits, water-cooled S/T type condenser, S/T horizontal evaporator with carbon steel shell and seamless copper tubes with 19mm nitrile rubber insulation, common base frame, interconnected copper refrigerant piping and wiring, vibration isolators, gauge panel, automatic safety controls, flow switch at evaporator and condenser and ozone friendly CFC-free refrigerant gas R-134a/407C. The refrigerant flow control shall use an electronic expansion valve. The chiller shall be designed for a working pressure of 150 psig and hydraulically tested at 225 psig. A number of properly spaced baffles shall be provided for maintaining optimum water velocity and heat transfer and the tubes shall be adequately supported.
Notes: 1. One of the three chillers shall be factory tested at design conditions at 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% load respectively; test certificates shall be produced for all three chillers. The quoted price shall be inclusive of a unit mounted miroprosser control panel (to ensure that the starting current does not exceed twice the full load current),. Mapping shall be required for all critical points displayed on the chiller control panel. The chiller shall be BMS compatible, the motor shall be suitable for 3 Phase, 415 Volts ± 10%, 50 Hz AC electric supply, electric panel shall have an IP 54 rating. 2. Necessary civil work viz. PCC foundation for placement of chillers AHU and pumps shall be covered in the scope of work. The chiller shall be as per the approved particular technical specifications and shall meet the following design criteria:
(a) Chiller (i) Chilled Water IN: 54° F (ii) Chilled Water OUT: 44° F (iii) Water Flow Rate: 2.4 USgpm/TR (b) Condenser (i) Condenser Water IN: 90° F (ii) Condenser Water OUT: 100° F (iii) Water Flow Rate: 4.0 USgpm/TR

CHILLED WATER PUMP: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of end-suction & top-discharge, non-self-priming, single-stage, centrifugal volute type pump having cast iron casing, enclosed type dynamically balanced phosphor-bronze/SS impeller, high tensile steel shaft, carbon steel stuffing box (sealed by mechanical seal), deep groove ball bearings, TEFC squirrel cage high efficiency induction motor, star/delta starter panel, base plate, mounting channel frame, accessories and fittings, viz. mechanical seal, pressure gauges, thermometers, drains, coupling, coupling guard, vibration isolation arrangement by means of spring/rubber type mounting suitable for operation on 3 Phase, 415 V ± 10%, 50 Hz AC supply. Note: Necessary civil work viz. PCC foundation for placement of pump, mounting of star/delta starter panel and pump accessories shall be covered in the scope of work. The pump shall be as per the approved particular technical specifications.

FRP RECTANGULER/BOTTLE SHAPED INDUCED DRAUGHT COOLING TOWER: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of FRP rectanguler/bottle shape vertical induced draught cooling tower of capacity 120 USGPM with uniform water distribution and optimal heat transfer, having tough fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) casing of sufficient structural strength to withstand vibrations and wind velocity up to 60 m/s, FRP basin, rigid honeycomb type PVC fill of suitable thickness, SS sprinklers and non-clogging sprinkler pipes, FRP drift eliminator, energy efficient induced draught axial type fans with factory set and dynamically balanced blades pitch, TEFC squirrel cage high efficiency induction motor with IP 65 protection suitable for 3 Phase, 415 Volts ± 10%, 50 Hz AC electric supply, inlet, outlet, drain and over-flow nozzle connections, etc. Note: Necessary civil work viz. The cooling tower shall be as per the approved particular technical specifications.
CONDENSER WATER PUMP FOR COOLING TOWER: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of end-suction & top-discharge, non-self-priming, single-stage, centrifugal volute type mono block pump suitable for 104 USGPM water flow rate and 20m head having cast iron casing, enclosed type dynamically balanced phosphor-bronze/SS impeller, high tensile steel shaft, carbon steel stuffing box (sealed by mechanical seal), deep groove ball bearings, TEFC squirrel cage high efficiency induction motor, star/delta starter panel, base plate, mounting channel frame, accessories and fittings, viz. mechanical seal, pressure gauges, thermometers, drains, coupling, coupling guard, vibration isolation arrangement by means of spring/rubber type mounting suitable for operation on 3- Phase, 415 V ± 10%, 50 Hz AC supply. CHILLED WATER MAKE-UP EXPANSION TANK: S&F HDPE expansion tank of 2000 Litres capacity of pressure rating to suit the system pressure and sized adequately to compensate for water expansion due to operating temperature variations, complete with inter-connection piping, insulated with 50mm thick insulation covered with sand cement plasterring over GI wire mesh of appropriate size all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
HDPE CONDENSER WATER EXPANSION TANK FOR COOLING TOWER: S&F HDPE expansion tank of 5000 Litres capacity of pressure rating to suit the system pressure and sized adequately to compensate for water expansion due to operating temperature variations, conforming to IS 2825 for 'non-fired pressure vessels' with interchangeable EPDM-BUTYL rubber membrane complete with inter-connection piping, etc. all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
CONDENSER WATER PIPING: MS ERW CLASS-B PIPE: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of MS ERW Class 'B' condenser water piping of the following sizes with all necessary fittings i.e. bends, tees, reducers, flanges, structural support, wooden/puff blocks, etc. as specified in particular specifications:

MS ERW CLASS-B UNDER GROUND PIPE WITH INSULATION: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of MS ERW Class 'B' chilled water piping 80mm NB with all necessary fittings i.e. bends, tees, reducers, flanges, structural support, wooden blocks etc. thermally insulated with 75mm thick EPS Pipe Section covered with sand cement plaster as specified in particular specifications over GI wire mesh of appropriate size as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, including excavation, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50m in any type of soil, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The minimum depth of excavation and width of excavation shall be as specified in SSR. There shall be no price adjustment for the variation in quantity of excavation on plus side.
MS ERW CLASS-B PIPE WITH INSULATION: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of MS ERW Class 'B' chilled water piping for the following sizes with all necessary fittings i.e. bends, tees, reducers, flanges, structural support, wooden blocks etc. thermally insulated with 75mm thick EPS Pipe Section covered with 26 G Aluminium cladding as specified in particular specifications:

3-WAY TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE WITH INSULATION: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of CI 3-way mixing valve 65mm NB, suitable for operation up-to 10 bar, with electronically operated actuator for AHUs complete as per the following specifications: 1. Water flow through the valve shall be regulated by rotation of brass slipper between the main and the bypass ports; it shall be possible to manually rotate the brass slipper through 360° and interchange the main and the common ports, to facilitate installation at site. 2. All internals of the valve shall be rust-proof and the 'O' ring shall be of elastomeric insulation. The valve actuator shall be of electronic type with DC motor, the actuator's angle of rotation shall be 90°, it shall be without any limit switches and shall be overload-proof. It shall have an indicator to indicate the position and push-button to disengage the gear train for manual operation. 3. AIR DISTRIBUTION GALVANIZED STEEL SHEET DUCTING: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of pre-fabricated galvanized steel sheet (GSS) square/ rectangular ducting for supply/return air, fabricated from galvanized steel sheet, having zinc coating of 120 gm/Sq.m. total on both sides complete with gaskets, elbows, splitters, vanes, supports etc. as per IS 655-1963 with required scaffolding work to install the ducts at site for the following gauges:
FIRE DAMPER: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of fusible link type fire damper complete as required for operation. The fire dampers shall be spring activated on melting of fusible link having melting point 67.13° C. The fire damper shall be located in the SA/RA ducts, at all fire rated crossoevers (shafts, walls, etc.). Fire damper shall be tested as per ULL- 555 and certified by CBRI.
ACOUSTIC INSULATION: Supply and fixing acoustic Insulation with the density of 28 Kg/m3 with 25mm thick fibre glass rigid boards and finished with RP tissue paper and 28mm gauge aluminium perforated sheet up to 5m from outlet of the air plenum including 5 micron filters in air plenum for all AHUs all as specified and directed.
THERMAL INSULATION: Supply and fixing of thermal insulation with resin bonded fibre glass (Wool density 24 Kg/Cu.m.) covered with GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape.

S&F air purge valve of size 15mm made of brass including necessary nipple and ball valve complete all as specified and as directred.
S&F GI pipe medium grade 25mm dia. with all fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directred including excavation, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50m in any type of soil, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The minimum depth of excavation and width of excavation shall be as specified in SSR. There shall be no price adjustment for the variation in quantity of excavation on plus side.
S&F gun metal gate valves with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe 25mm dia. and fixed complete all as specified and as directred.
M&L for cutting existing GI tubing for alterations necessary done in position with out taking down and inserting GI TEE of size 80x80x25mm for tapping complete all as specified and as directred.

Outsourcing for operation of Central AC Plant of capacity not less than 26 TRX03 nos (02 Nos Running & 01 Nos standby) for one year after successful completion of the work under Phase-I i.e. during the First Year of Defects Liability Period of the work under Phase-I complete including operation of cooling tower, AHUs, Electrical control panels, and all pumps & valves and connected equipments complete in Air condition system, round the clock for all days including Sundays and holidays in 3 shifts per day with each shift for 08 hours to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to maintain designed aircondition parameters by providing servies of One Skilled Technician of AC & Refrigeration (ITI) Qualified with 3 years relevant experience all as specified and as directed.
Outsourcing for Operation of Central AC Plant of capcity not less then 22 TR X 03 Nos (02 Nos Running & 01 Nos Standby) for the one year after successful completion of the work under Phase-I i.e. during the First Year of Defects Liability Period of the work under Phase-I complete including operation of Cooling Tower, AHUs, Electrical control panels, and all Pumps & valves and connected equipments complete in Air condition system, round the clock for all days including Sundays and holidays in 3 shifts per day with each shift for 08 hours to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to maintain designed aircondition parameters by providing services of One Skilled Technician of AC & Refrigeration (ITI) Qualified with 03 years relevant experience all as specified and as directed. Note for Serial Item Nos.48 & 49: The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following: (a) Periodical, Preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the equipment as per OEM recommendations. (b) To take care of housekeeping , cleanliness pf plant room and outside Area up to 20m all around installation shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. (c) To maintain all installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules/ Standard Engineering Practice and maintenance of Installation Log Books and Maintenance Register. (d) Cost of consumable stores such as grease, Lubricants, Cotton waste, refrigerant gas filling for leakages(including cost of gas) and other connected stores etc required for daily operation and routine maintenance. (e) The staff employed shall be having proper uniform as approved by GE. (f) The contractor shall arrange dry/wet bulb thermometer at AHU room and Air conditioned area for recording room temeperatute. (g) Periodical cleaning Cooling Tower and AHU, Filters, tanks shall be the responsibility of contractor. (h) The contrctor is totally responsible for complete AC plant maintenance during the defects liablity period and the quoated rate include M&L required for repairs/replacements of all the plant items/spares/consumables/ expendable during Peridical, Preventive and breakdown maintenance by the contractor as recommended by the OEM.

(e) The contractor is totally responsible for complete AC plant maintenace during the comprehensive maintenace period and the quoted rate include M&L required for repairs/replacement of all the plant items/spares/consumables/expandable during Periodical,Preventive and breakdown maintenace by the contractor as recommended by the OEM.
