Attending repair/rectification of leakages to water supply distribution lines 20 mm bore to 25 mm bore GI/PPR tubing with provision of necessary excavation, returning and filling in as required, tightening of loose joints of union, elbow, sockets etc, threading if required including replacement of GI unions/sockets/nipples as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for attending break down of water supply pipe line and repair to CI/DI/PPR water mains of size 80 mm to 300 mm bore at a given notice including necessary excavation in mud, in any type of soil by manual or using special T&P such as JCB etc. De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI specials such as collars, bends/tail peaces etc and making joints complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints, DI/CI Pipe etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A'.

Notes for Sl item No 1 to 6 :- (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on requirement basis on all working days including Sundays and holidays and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of genuine cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log book of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consulatation with JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representive/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/fittings utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabd and the same shall be submitted to E/M No II store yard on requirement basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaint slip books, gate pass book, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work and repairs to damaged roads, LT UG/HT cables, existing structure etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate and no extra payment shall be allowed on this account. (j) Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M&L for flushing of the existing borewells of size 150 mm dia above 350 feet and upto 650 feet depth by drilling machine by mechanically method into the above well connected to a pneumatic compressor after taking out the submersible pumpset with necessary hoisting equipment and flushing the bore well complete with compressor air and flushing bore well till discharge of fresh water is obtained subject to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge and lowering down the submersible pump set in position complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out submersible pumpset of any capacity and type from the borewell of depth not exc 200 metres for carrying out repairs including cleaning and applying one coats of anti corrosive paint and lowering the same in position and commissioning after carrying out the repairs as required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i) Rewinding of burnout winding of motor,supply of parts repairs to pumpset will be measured under relevant item of this schedule

Repairs to submersible motor electric driven up to 5 HP capacity of any make and type by rewinding of the motor with same gauge and weight of PVC insulated copper wire and other required insulating materials and renewal of thrust plate, bearing , reassembling, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to submersible motor of electric driver, above 7.5 HP up to 10 HP capacity of any make and any type by rewinding the motor with same gauge and weight of PVC insulated copper wire and other required insulating materials and renewal of thrust plate, bearing ,reassembling, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to submersible pumpset upto 18 stage, replacing the worn out spare parts with new spare parts overhauling and greasing including testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- spare parts as required for functioning of of PUMP set shall be included in the quoted rate

Disconnecting and removing the water and electric connections care fully from the existing Burnt centrifugal pump sets of capacity 5 / 7.5 HP and shifted to workshup for rewinding with same guage of copper wire , replacement of bearing , thrust plate etc as required for proper functioning of the centrifugal motor anf refix the same on its own position along with all electric and water connection complete all as directed.
