Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shallbe carried,out true to lines,grades,side slopes, width, camber super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge,in conformit with the requirement of MORD technical specification 2014 (two thousand fourteen) for Rural Road. clause 300, 1600 (three hundred, one thousand six hundred) of General conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones,whether useful or not, for 394.39 cum(three hundred ninty four point thirty nine )in all cases,@ rupees 300/- only(Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro- rata basis.
