COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF SWIMMING POOLS WITH CONNECTED ACCESSORIES AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Taking out of existing Cast iron water mains, 300 mm bore (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and Supply, laying ,connection and testing DI pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast,K-9 in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed. General Notes for all items of BOQ:- (i). As the work contain the day to day maintenance, everyday Three skilled manpower (Two plumbers) with their four unskilled labour (helper) should be available for working. (ii). As water leakage or breakdown incidents can happens any time that’s why one plumber and one helper should always be available from 1700 hrs to 0900 hrs and full day on Sunday and holidays. (iii). In case of non availability of any skilled or unskilled labour, it will penalize for Rs 500 for each labour per day as the details will be submitted by Engineer in charge. (iv). All type of material should be available at store for working at any time. (v). Rep of contractor will collect details of complaint from department. The Contractor will be allotted complaint on daily basis and sufficient resources will be deployed by him / her for execution of day to day complaint within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. (vi). A detailed log of complaints with completion / non-completion remarks from users / MES will be maintained by the contractor and same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with JE detailed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) The contractor will make suitable arrangement for emergent complaints and will notify auth rep / Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond state time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard. (vii). The quoted rated deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site. (viii). The contractor will maintain suitable inventories and range of spares required to meet the complaints as same will be reviewed periodically by Engr-in-Charge to streamline complaints.

Taking out of existing Cast iron water mains, 150 mm bore (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and Supply, laying ,connection and testing DI pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast, K-7 in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out of existing Cast iron water mains, 100 mm bore (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and Supply, laying ,connection and testing DI pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast, K-7 in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note for sl item Nos. 1 to 4 :- "Ductile iron Pipe will be required to be laid in trench or above the ground as per site requriment (all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) in full length or in part of length . Ductile iron Pipe line is passing through jungle area /natural ponds filled with rain water so proper arrangement in order to repair / replacement including lighting arrangement and creating approch upto pipe line is deemed to be included in quoted rate and required joints & specials will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Taking down existing Cast iron specials and M&L Cast iron/DI specials such as bends (any type,radius and angle) tapers any type (straight,bend, increasing, decreasing,or double socket ect). Tee pieces single branch 'Y' junction double branch,cross (all sockets or socket and spigot),collars caps and plugs ect for upto 300mm bore as in repair including complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling carefully the existing Unserviceable/ rusted 150 mm dia MS suction pipe line including all fittings inside/ outside the sump of 06 Meter length and supply, Fixing and testing MS Pipe line of size 150 mm dia including all fittings such as MS special, MS long bend, Flange, flange jonints, welded joints and nuts, bolts , washers, gasket and foot valves complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing unserviceable sluice valve and supply & fixing of new sluice valve in position, 300 mm dia (ISI marked), flanged and drill both ends cast iron body, heavy duty brass spindle type PN 1.6 with and including jointing rubber gasket, nut, bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge.
