CERTAIN REPAIR AND RE-PAINTING TO HELIPAD AT 505 SU

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exc 15cm thickness. (below or above ground level) complete all as specified.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) finishingh surface of concrete topping even and fair (without using extra cement) etc including necessary formwork to divide the area in panels, finishing exposed edges fair where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coat of exterior emulsion paint in required colour on new concrete surface over a coat of priming paint including preparation of previously untreated osurface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Forming dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1 /3rd to 1 /4th the thickness of the slab widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) OF +/- 30% and filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying two coat of exterior emulsion paint in required colour on old painted concrete surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for providing and laying 1.5mm thick hot thermoplastic road marking paint of white colour in uniform thickness with glass as per clause no 803 of MORTH specification incl complete removal of old painting by any manner on concrete surface heating the material within specified temprature limit as marking with all arrangement required for proper completion of work all as directed

Removing demolished concrete materials exc 250m but n. exc 500 and disposing where directed.
