The successful bidder should submit the Original DD/FDR to this office at the time of Execution of the agreement

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non accessibility of kppp portal due to internet connection

Activity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

As per Karnataka state government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Govt letter No.PW/134/BMS /2007/dated 27-07-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

Tender invited only for eligible contractors registered under Karnataka Public Works Dept.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

All the documents to be uploaded shall be neatly scanned and the documents scanned shall be in original.

Financial Year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty first day of March of succeeding year(both days inclusive)

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

All the Formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner. ( section 3 & 4 of the bid document ) and shall be uploaded properly, signed by Tenderer . Necessary Certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents Section can be used for this purpose.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender.

Bidders are requested to read the Bid Documents before submission of their bid.

Department will not supply any materials, and the cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KP Procurement Portal.

The Employer reserves the rights reject one or all tender without assigning any reasons.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD Division Yadgir during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened next working day will holds good in lieu of the dates mentioned.

The Tenderer are should be present during opening of the tender and also submit the uploaded documents duly attested by the Gazzeted Officer not below the Rank of Executive Engineer.

Tenderer should be Registered in KPWD registered Class-IV and Above Contractor and copy should be uploaded in E-portal Attested by the Gazzeted officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

The Tenderer should maintain work during the defect liability period, which is (1) One year after successful completion of the work. (Including monsoon)

The Contractor should maintain the Road in good condition till Completion of tender period.

Financial turn-over of previous years shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2026-27 in the Technical Qualification Criteria

Item of Rates including cost of all materials, labor, HOM, l & UL, curing with all leads and lifts etc. complete as per specifications & as directed by Engineer-in-charge of the work.

The Bidder, at his own cost, responsibility and risk, is encouraged to visit, examine and familiarize himself with the Site of Works and its surroundings including source of earth, water, road aggregates, availability of labor etc. and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the Bid and entering into a contract for undertaking the maintenance Works. The costs of visiting the site shall be at the Bidders own expense. The following certificate/Affidavit shall be undertaken by contractor during the submission of tenders, I have inspected the road and I am ready to maintain the road till end of tender period.

The Contractor shall maintain the Road Assets in proper condition that comply with the Road Maintenance Standards and ensure users safety and comfort. The maintenance activities shall be so planned that the defects are repaired well before they reach maximum condition as per the permissible tolerance. After issuing the work order the contractor should complete 25% of the work every month.

If the contractor has not done the maintenance work satisfactorily in previous years such bids will be rejected.

The contractor should employee only registered labours as per government circular No. PWD/198/HMS/2009/ Dated: 24/06/2009 as per EPF and MP act 1952. In respect of the employ.

The tenderer should be a KPWD registered contractors.

Appeal as per the Government Ltr No. 572/CRM/2020/PWD-COMM-1-PWD-SEC, Dated: 09-10- 2020 the appeal received in e-proc as per KTTP act/rules within the stipulated time will only the considered. Any written appeal received shall not be considered.

As per Government Circular No. FD/263/EXP-12/2022, Dated 11/05/2022 Tender Clause ITT 24.3 If Successful Bidder not made Agreement with Employee. The EMD Amount will be forfeited and Tender will be Rejected

As per Government Circular No. PWD/48/BMS/2022, Dated 31/05/2024 and KTPP 2000 Rules 26(A) contractor are liable for debarment if contractor does bad quality of work, if contractor fails to complete the work within stipulated period of time and also to follow all other conditions mentioned in the above said Government circular.

The project completion period is 3(Three) months including Mansoon

Supply of tools and plants (spade, pic axe, pan, sickle) required for maintenance work is to be provided by the Contractor.

If the bidder quoted rates less than the estimate/tendered rates, he has to remit the difference amount in the form of DD/FDR drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, PWD Division, Yadgir only, duly uploading the scanned copy of the same in the e-portal at the time of submitting the bid. The successful bidder should submit the Original DD/FDR to this office at the time of Execution of the agreement
