REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT AND CONNECTED ITEMS TO CERTAIN BLDGS AT N AREA, K AREA, HALLOMAJRA AND SF ACCN AT SECTOR 28-29D UNDER GE CHANDIGARH.

Dismantling the entire roof covering including brick tiles, mud puska , mud plaster and water proofing treatment any number of layers or thickness etc of any description upto RCC roof slab and cleaning the surface including flashings and junction of parapets, etc with wire brushes and water to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including removing soil (mud phuska) from the site to a distance not exc. 500m and depositing where directed and applying a coat of cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Sqm of cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting out cracks to 'V' section in existing roofs or terracing cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen of 85/25 and clean dry sand 1 : 1 (by wt) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate average thickness 50mm as in roof padding finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement incl mixing water proofing compound (Dr. Fixit) as per manufacturers instruction (water proofing liquid shall be paid seperately) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cm 1 : 3 mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions on concrete/brick surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed (WPC measured and paid separately) complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing roof treatment as under : -(a) Applying bitumenous primer @ 0.30 litre per sqm over cleaned and dry roof surface including parapet(b) M&L for applying a coat of blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.20 kg per sqm over priming coat of roof .(c) Material and labour for providing and laying 3mm thick APP modified polyester reinforced water proofing membrane with minimum weight of 3.60 kg/sqm , as specified. The APP membrane shall be laid using torch-on application with minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end overlap. The APP memberane shall be fixed with termination bar and fasteners and end shall be properly sealed with sealant. The rain water gutter portion shall be finished with cement mortar 1:4 to provide requisite slope towards rain water pipe outlet. (Make of APP membrane : Pidilite Industries/STP/IWL as approved by GE)

Material and labour for finishing the APP membrane with bituminous aluminium paint.

M&L for 20mm thick grey coloured PCC tiles 20cm x 20cm, machine pressed laid over & including 20mm thick screed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with and including waterproofing compound (Pidiproof LW@20ml per 50 Kg bag) and joints grouted & pointed flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface Preparation: Minor cleaning work, removal of loose concrete and filling cracks and Making of angle fillets all around the periphery of the wall.

Supplying & grouting the gaps around the pipe / inserts with SmartCare General Purpose Grout, a non shrink cementitious waterproof grout. The “Nahani” trap, etc is to be fitted securely in the same manner & the gaps around it to be grouted with non shrink Grout. This shall conform the following standards: ASTM C 109 - 1999 18, ASTM C 1107, Grade C complete as per instructiions. Providing 2 coats of SmartCare Damp block 2k up to the top edge of the pipe etc. complete as per manufacturer's instructions Make :- ASIAN PAINTS

Supplying and applying High build elastomeric water proofing coating Asian Paints Smart Care polyurea ultron is a two component hybrid polyurea ployurethane applied as a waterproofing membranewhich offers superior Mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and weather resistance properties. It is based on elastmeric ployurea polyurethane hy rid chemistry with an elongation of 600%, tensile strenght of 12.6 MPa, shore A of 60 and Tear resistance of 9.2N The application can be done with a brush/roller/spray machine in two coats of ultron obtaining amin consumption of 1L/Sqm in two coats followed by primer coat of epoxy (1:1) of base and hardner with 100% water dilution, The application shall be done by the authorised applicator of the manufactor Make :- ASIAN PAINTS

Loosely lay 150 GSM Geotextile (non-woven polyester) with a min of 100mm wide overlap after which drain boards and soiling can be allowed. Make :- ASIAN PAINTS

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 as in roof kerb or mud stops mixed with acrylic base water proofing compound @ 1% by wt of cement including all necessary form work all as specified.

Supply only water proofing compound ISI marked complete all as specified. Make: Pidiproof WL (Dr Fixit) or equivalent ISI marked make as approved by GE.

M&L for chipping, removing carefully concrete work in chajjas/fins/facias etc by low impact hammer, breaker without damaging the structure and building up the profile of structrual members by using latex B2 modified air cured mortar system in damaged areas ( 1 part cement : 3 part graded cleaned pre-packed reiver sand : 10% latex mortar by weight of cement : 0.5 w/c ratio) in 20 mm to 30 mm thickness including levelling profile etc complete

M&L for replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 20 % of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel including application of rust convertor FEOVERT and applying protective coating IPNET - R B complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down cement plaster including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water all as specified.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces complete all as specified.
