Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to the embankment location with all lifts and lead upto 1000m.

Construction of granular sub -base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface, by mixing place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision - By mix in place method - For grading II material.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller to achieve the desired density (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 -60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction. - using grade II metal and bitumen - VG30

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 509 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects- Using grade-II material. -Bitumen -VG30

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Providing and fixing of retro - reflectorised cautionary, mandatory & informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of aluminium sheet encapsulated lens with high intensity grade sheeting vide Clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm X 75 mm X 6 mm ( 3.8 mtrs height - 6.8kg/mtr = 25.84 kg with board support angle 35x35x6mm - 2.8 mtrs - 3kg/mtr = 8.4kg and anchor flats - 0.5kg ) firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 Grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing. - 80cm X 60cm rectangular . (including cost of angle iron towards cost of drilling holes , nuts , bolts etc.,)

Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a consolidated thickness of 0.15 m for sub base course including stacking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre measurement the volume of stacks calculated as per actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall includie labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required camber and grade and rolling with power roller, hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawings and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material - ordinary Soil - Manual Means - Depth upto 3 metres including the cost of labour and overhead charges.

Supply and filling with Quarry rubbish including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.
