Material and labour for stabilizing the soil obtained from excavated earth, breaking the oversize partciles to required size, adding minimum cement @ 2% by weight of soil to be used in the item and water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of the soil mixture during consolidation, mixing the soil, cement and water in a mechanical mixing plant to obtain homogenious mixture, laying the soil mixture by mechanical means in layers not exceeding 20 cm thick for a total depth of 40 cm, consolidating with suitable compacting plants such as vibratory roller etc. under optimum moisture content to achieve 98% of maximum dry density (modified proctor density) determined in accordance with relevant IS code of practice and finishing the surface to required levels, gradients etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
CONCRETE WORK
Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, foundation of poles and struts complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

ROAD WORK, DISPERSAL WORK & TAXI TRACK WORK
Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting by power roller exceeding 8 ton and not exceeding 12 ton complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stones, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber including rolling and consolidating by power roller exceeding 8 ton and not exceeding 12 ton complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM (in two layers of 75 mm each) with coarse aggregate granite or basalt of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 mm to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber by power roller exceeding 8 ton and not exceeding 12 ton complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Measurement of 150mm thick WBM shall be entered and not two layers of 75mm thickness.
Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen 80/100 (VG-10) grade at 10 Kg per 10 Square Metre complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50 mm) using paving bitumen grade VG-30 as binder minimum 4% by weight to total mix complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 2.5 Kg per 10 Square Metre using paving bitumen VG-10 grade over bituminous macadam surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix,, spread with mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for granular sub base (GSB) Grade V as per MORTH Table 400-1, deposited, spread in uniform layer with motor grader and levelled in layers not exceeding 20 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface and rolled by using 8 to 12 ton vibratory roller to achieve desired density and CBR (minimum 20) as per MORTH Clause 401 complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in runway/road with granite coarse aggregate of approved grading, mixed with stone dust all as per IRC 109-2015 in WMM plant, spread with mechanical paver, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 ton vibratory roller complete as per MORTH clause 406 complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and spread dry clean approved sand, spread average 10 mm thick over DLC and rammed complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and lay transparent polythene film sheet of thickness 400 micron as per IS-2508 complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided whereever overlap is to be provided. The polythene film sheet shall be measured net and the rate quoted by the bidder shall be deemed to include this provision.
Supply only polyster non circular fibre reinforcement complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for forming 8 mm wide, 25 mm deep construction joints, applying 02 coats of priming and providing closed cell polythene back up rod 10 mm dia with 2 mm debonding tape and joint sealed with and using cold applied single component polyurethane sealant (Top 12 mm leaving 2-3 mm recess) conforming to requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 for hydrolysis/water resistance test including initial 3mm wide raw cut upto 110 depth (with 8 to 24 thick) and fixing of masking tape before sealant is applied and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) Sealant shall have MAF minimum +30% and manufacturer's warranty of 10 years. (ii) Joint filling operation shall be carried out mechanically in the presence of the rep of manufacturer of sealant. (iii) Rounding of edges of joints shall be done with hand grinder upto 5-6 mm dia.
Material and labour for cutting of 25 mm wide expansion joints upto full depth of concrete slab (350-400 mm) (initial cut of 3 mm upto full depth cut by diamond cutter machine within 8 to 20 hours of casting of PQC) and filled with pre-formed compressible filler coard (HD-100) of required depth, provision of closed cell polythene back up rod 30 mm dia with 2 mm thick debonding tape (minimum depth over back up rod shall be 17-18 mm), 02 coats of priming the vertical sides of joints and sealing the joints (top 14-15 mm) with single component polyurethene sealant conforming to requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 for hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edge at joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) Sealant shall have MAF minimum +30% and manufacturer's warranty of 10 years. (ii) Joint filling operation shall be carried out mechanically in the presence of the rep of manufacturer of sealant. (iii) Rounding of edges of joints shall be done with hand grinder upto 5-6 mm dia.

Material and labour for preparation of new taxi track/dispersal/ pavement surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of aqua based road marking paint conforming to IS-164 using road marking machine (airless spray applications) as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick pavement quality cement concrete (PQC) in pavement/dispersal/taxi link of flexural strength 4.5 Mpa in field using minimum 400 Kg of cement per cubic metre, mixed with non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement (0.25% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions), spread and compacted by mechanical slip form paver to thickness 150 mm including necessary formwork, finishing, belting, curing, brooming, numbering of slab and provision of joints etc. complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula shall be compatible to IRC-44-2008 and IS-456. (ii) Non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately vide relevant item of Schedule 'A'/BOQ. (iii) All types of joints shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Curing compound shall be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry and cost of supply and applying of curing compound shall be deemed to be included in the rate of this item. (v) No deduction shall be made from the PQC for the space occupied by construction and dummy joints. Deduction shall however be made for space occupied by the expansion joints.
Material and labour for preparing old blacktop surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen at 5 Kg per ten Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.
DEMOLITION AND DISMANTLING
Demolition of flexible pavement (including GSB, WBM, BM, SDAC) as a single unit by excavation by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.
MAFI LIGHTS WORKS
Supply and laying of 1 core 6 Sqmm 5KV Grade AFL stranded copper conductor PVC insulated PVC sheathed cable as per IS 1554 Part 2 passing through cable duct /RCC/HUME/METAL/ HDPE/DWC pipes etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Excavation & conduit shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
Material and labour for Gl wire 8 SWG/4 mm dia and fixing with proper clamp saddles, nuts bolts washers etc properly and connected to fitting complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and Laying HDPE pipe of 50mm nominal dia PN 6/ PE 80 grade as per IS 4984 0.4Mpa working pressure for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- HDPE pipe shall be laid minimum 100cm below the surface.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of inset type Bi directional runway edge light and meeting ICAO requirements 2 x105W Halogen lamp circuit 2.8 to 6.6 amps current with 12" dia shallow base and matching body of the fitting, inner body and outer cover made of die cast aluminium complete with pre focussed reflector with connected heat resistant accessories, prism assembly, optical assembly. "O" ring seal pressure relief test plug, lense (s), two pole secondary plug, hardware and all standard accessories including core cutting and filling with suitable material with required bolts and ready for site installation as required and as directed, the DGPS survey record has to be kept for the runway edge lights which shall be used for fixing the inset lights after the pavement work, complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- ATG/AMA/Vardhman/YPR as approved by Air Force through GE
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 200W 6.6A, 5000V, 50Hz series isolating transformers encapsulated in black cross linked polychloroprene compound like TPE/ TPR/TPV with primary and secondary connections suitable to be operated via RCMS system confirming specification all as required complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- ATG/AMA/Vardhman/YPR as approved by Air Force through GE
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of elevated type omni directional turning part blue light with 45W 6.6 Amps halogen lamp complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Cl housing box of size 330 mm dia and depth upto 450 mm as per drawing complete including excavation of hard rock/ pavement of all types/ concrete/ bitumen etc and all kinds of soil to the required depth, as per specifications, refilling the side surface, sloping and making good the same as original, providing cement concrete foundation of ratio 1.3:6 (1 cement, 3 coarse sand and 6 graded stone of 40 mm nominal size) & thickness of concrete at 75 mm in all sides including bottom dressing of earth, with brick and finishing with 13mm thick cement plaster of ration 1:3 on exposed surface and neat cement finishing on top etc. as required, complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply ins installation, testing and commissioning of CI housing box of size 330 mm dia and depth upto 150 mm as per drawing complete including excavation of hard rock/ pavement of all types/ concrete/ bitumen etc and all kinds of soil to the required depth, as per specifications refilling the side surface, sloping and making good the same as original, providing cement concrete foundation of ratio 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3. coarse sand and 6 graded stone of 40 mm nominal size) & thickness of concrete at 75 mm in all sides including bottom dressing of earth, with brick and finishing with 13mm thick cement plaster of rulion 1:3 on exposed surface and neat cement finishing on top etc as required, complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for refixing MAFI lights (Insets/ Elevated) of any wattage / make by connecting all cable connections/ connector kits /isolation Transformers connection etc and complete all as directed Note:- Light fittings and all accessories will be issued by Air force Station free for fixing.
Notes for Ser item No. 55 to 70:- (a) Contractor has to get the MAFI lights installation and associated work carried through the specilized firm among TASL/AMA/Vardhman Airport Solutions/YPR Engineering & Solutions PVT Ltd. as approved by Air Force through GE. (b) Contractor has to submit the scheme and layout digram including technical details and makes of the AFLS system before execution for the approval from Air Force through GE. (c) Work shall be carried out under the supervision of SE(L) section of Air Force. (d) Integration of the executed lights with the existing AFLS shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Testing/ commissioning & acceptance of the entire AFLS shall be carried out by Air Force and if any outside expertee is required for it then charges for the same shall be borne by the department.
