Excavation in foundation,trenches(for pipes & pits) up to all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work,jumper work,saturated soil including bailing out water, blasting soft/hard rock or chiseling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming & dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring/strutting,planking,timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation returning the excavated soil after laying jointing testing of pipes in trenches in 15 Cm layers including consolidating of each deposited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus Excavated soil/unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic,night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per the entire satisfaction & directions of engineer in charge.

Providing, laying, & commissioning at site in trenches to be leveled to grades with bevelled ended API pipes conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 (Latest with up to date amendments) having minimum wall thickness as specified below & capable of with standing required test pressure as prescribed in IS/ISO code, in random lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr. The pipe ends shall be levelled suitable for butt welding, including the cost of jointing with butt welding confirming to IS 816-1969 or latest applicable and with uptodate ammendments (leak proof) in three layers at siteof work with welded rods of Advani/oeriliken make/ISI marked (welded rods 3mm to 4mm) and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces,tee bends & other special manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach and of approved specification as per site conditions. and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads & lifts andas directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. The pipe shall have zinc coating inside & outside confirming to IS-4736-1986 or latest with upto date ammendments & shall be engraved with API grade. It shall include the cost of NRV, Scour valve and air valve of required rating which are to be fixed at required locations as per direction of Engineer in Charge. The laying shall cofirm to BIS 5822-970 or latest with upto date ammendments to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. (Earth work & cost of MS Flanges after 100meter length shall be measured & paid for seperately.) including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials at site andas per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-In-Charge. Providing and welding MS flanges as per table below conforming to IS:6392-1971 ( latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointless gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done in three layers ( two out side+one inside)to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
