Maintenance and operation of water cooled open type reciprocating central type air conditioning plant of capacity 35 TR of 03 Nos (02 Nos working at a time and 01 No as stand by) of Make : Voltas and Generator set at FMS location for trouble free operation all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Details of plants are as under (I) Compressor chiller Machines 35 TR capacity -03 set (ii) Condencing pumpset 10 HP capacity -02 set (iii) Chilled water pumpset 5 HP capacity -03 set (iv) Cooling Tower -01 No (v) Air Handling unit of 50 TR capacity -01 No (vi) Air Handling unit of 20 TR capacity -01 No (vii) Generator Set 250 KVA capacity -01 No and 100 KVA capacity -01 No No of shifts : Three shifts per day No of labours: one ITI qualified skilled Refrigeration Mechanic for each shift. (Shift timing 6.00 Hrs to 14.00 Hrs , 14.00 Hrs to 22.00 Hrs and 22.00 Hrs to 06.00 Hrs)

(Shift timings : 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs & 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs )

Note for item No 1 and 2 above : (a) The operating staff shall be capable for attending minor defects/ rectification. Necessary tools should be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost. (b) DHPP (Diesel) shall be issued by department by using DG Operators but diesel should be collected from AFS (MT)/ MES (MT) section and transportation upto DG installation by the contractor. (c) The operating staff should record the voltages & amperes, consumption of diesel and readings etc., in the daily log sheet as per format enclosed as Appendix 'A' as applicable. (d) The rate quoted is inclusive of supplying required daily log sheet without any extra cost. (e) Contractor shall make necessary arrangements for undergoing operations training and enabling them to be well versed with rescue operation of trapped person and other lift safety mechanism. (f) All the training certificates of operation shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge within the 15 days of Acceptance of tender. It may be noted that contractor shall be sole responsible for any mishappening occurs including accident / injury due to deploying of inexperience / unskilled persons. Each operator shall be responsible for operation, checking and cleaning of the DG set ,Ac plants as per duty roster and as directed. The operator shall have requisite qualification / experience. (g) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed for carrying out daily maintenance of installation (as mentioned in BOQ & particulars specification), buildings and surroundings of the buildings incl cleaning & removing all vegetation all around the installation upto 3 mtrs from the plinth protection complete.

(h) The rate quoted for items of outsourcing shall not be less than Minimum wages as notified by Government of India/State Government/Local body which ever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employees towards Employees provident Fund (EPF),contribution towards Employees State Insurance corporation (ESIC), contribution of Bonus and Labour Welfare Cess (LWC) under respective headings/sub items.In case the rates quoted are less than the prevaling rates/instructions under any headings,the bid will be treated as "Non Bonafide/Invalid" and such bid will not be considered for Acceptance.In such case ,the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst of the valid/Bonafide bids only .The tender will be considered for financial evaluation only if the rates are found bonafide . (i) "Nil or Zero " quoiting against over heads and profit shall be render the bid as "Non-Bonafide" and will be rejected. (j) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes,cess,levies as applicable including GST . (k) Contractor shall quote rates only upto two digits after decimal place as per IS No 02 1960 or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place. (l) In case of tie amongst bidders,the criteria as specified in Scheduel "A" notes serial No 25 on serial page No 20 of tender document shall be applied to decide the lowest bidder for acceptance. (m) Bonus will be applicable along with manpower required in the tender and as per Bonus rule. The quoted rate against bonus is to be considered for payment on actual basis.The contribution towards Bonus amount is payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the Tradesman.The contractor has to submit the proof of bonus paid by him to Tradesman at the time of RAR/final bill.similarly items/sub items of contribution towards EPF and ESIC shall also be payable after submission of valid and authentic document in support of proof of payment.
