REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY CI GI PPR PIPE LINES, VALVES ETC AT CANTT AREA AND 119 TA BN UNDER GE SHILLONG

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of GI / CI water tubing etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

M&L for cutting of existing road / hard standing / foot path surfaces for laying water tubings of any descriptions and making good to disturbed surfaces with plain cement concrete type C-2 (1:3:6 , using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

M&L for cutting of existing road / hard standing / foot path surfaces at civil area under PWD approx 8Mtr. width for laying water tubings of any descriptions and making good to disturbed surfaces with plain cement concrete type C-2 (1:3:6, using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge. Note: Payment to PWD Shillong for road cutting at civil area under PWD shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick as in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Taking up or down steel tubing with connections including cleaning for refixing or removal from site with all fittings complete all as specified and directed. of following bore(s) of pipe :- (Note - :- excavation and necessary earthwork will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. ) (a) 150 mm bore

(b) All as per item no. 5.00 here in above but of 100 mm bore

(c) All as per item no. 5.00 here in above but of 80 mm bore

S&F in repair 3- layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) pipes SDR 7.4 & SDR 11 UV stablised and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply incl all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings such as male/female threaded socket, male/female threaded tee, reducers, union, socket, end cap, plug, etc laid in trenches / wall / floor incl connection from water main GI / PP-R pipe etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note - excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (a) 63 mm bore

(b) All as per item no. 8.00 here in above but of 50 mm bore

(c) All as per item no. 8.00 here in above but of 32 mm bore

Supply and fix in repair CI Sluice valve with flanged ends as per IS-14846 PN-1.6 including stainless steel spindle and wheel , ISI marked with nut bolts and jointing material i.e. rubber gasket complete including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge of following bores. (a) 150mm bore

(b) All as per item no.9.00 here in above but of 100 mm bore

(c) All as per item no.9.00 here in above but of 80 mm bore

Supply and fix in repair CI non return valve ( NRV) , 100 mm bore with bypass arrangement working pressure 10 kg / sqcm conforming to IS-5312 including jointing by means of rubber gasket 3 mm thick MS nuts, bolts & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge .

Supply and fix CI foot valve conforming to IS-4038 of pipe size 100 mm dia including taking down old unserviceable one from the sump etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge .

Supply and fix bronze check valve conforming to IS- 4038 including taking out old unserviceable foot valve/ check valve from the sump complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge for following bores of pipe(s). (a) 80mm bore

(b) All as per item no.12.00 here in above but of 50 mm bore

(c) All as per item no.12.00 here in above but of 40 mm bore

S&F in repairs Gland (metallic wire) packing of suitable size made of asbestos grip with silicon etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repairs leather gasket of suitable size made of asbestos grip with silicon etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for flange joint with new flange (set of two flange) and rubber gasket, nuts, bolts, washer of required size and white lead complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge including taking down old unserviceable one for the following bore (s) of pipe. Note : Excavation if any will measured and paid separately under appropriate items of this schedule. (a) 200 mm bore

Note - excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant item . CI Pipes obtained after taking down against srl item no, 17.00 to 17.02 shall be used under this item. (a) 150 mm bore

Supply, laying and testing CI (cast iron) pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugal cast, B class including all necessary fittings fittings laid in trenches or floor complete all as directed by Engr in Charge of following bore(s) of pipe. Note - excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (a) 150 mm bore

M & L for Run lead joint suitable for spigot and socket pipes including spun yarn complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in--charge for following bore of pipe including burning of old lead joint. Note - excavation will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. (a) 200 mm bore

"Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable upto 150mm bore including taking out old unserviceble CI fitting etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F in repair PP-R Gate valves (brass insert) as per requirement of the site suitable etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for following bore (s) of pipe. (a) 63 mm bore

M&L for construction of VALVE PIT TYPE 'A' of OF PCC BLOCK MASONARY and of size 900 mm x 900 mm x 900 mm (internal dimension), with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 solid block walling 20cm thick set in cement mortar 1:4 over 100mm thick 1:4:8 type D2 foundation and 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping on the top of wall with rendering 15mm thick cement mortar 1:4 on inside and exposed external surface MS sheet cover angle iron frame with locking arrangement etc. including all fittings and fixtures complete all as specified and shown in Drg No. TD/EM/6 Sheet 1/2 including dismantling old unserviceable one.

M&L for construction of VALVE PIT TYPE 'A' of OF PCC BLOCK MASONARY and of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 900 mm (internal dimension), with with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 solid block walling 20cm thick set in cement mortar 1:4 over 100mm thick 1:4:8 type D2 foundation and 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping on the top of wall with rendering 15mm thick cement mortar 1:4 on inside and exposed external surface MS sheet cover angle iron frame with locking arrangement etc. including all fittings and fixtures complete all as specified and shown in Drg No. TD/EM/6 Sheet 1/2 including dismantling old unserviceable one.

Suplying, fabricating & fixing structural mild steel channel, angle, iron, flat iron, sheets and brackets etc for fabrications of valve chamber cover, chasis for pump, PS tank plates, PS tank covers, clamps and back plates including nuts, bolts and washers, welding banding cold , or hot drilling holes for insulators bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

M & L for preparation of old or previously treated surfaces of steel of any description as CI / GI pipes, pit covers, pumps etc. and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete as specified and as directed Engineer in charge.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (40mm graded stone aggregate) for making good the disturbed surface of channels/ Pavements/ footpaths/ roads/ foundations etc. complete as specified and as directed Engineer in charge.
