Conditional tenders will not be accepted

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Section I, II, III, Form of Bid, Self declaration and instruction to bidders are part of the Tender document

After evaluation of Technical bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical specification of the tender, bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such bidders Financial bid will be opened

Prices should be entered in Tender schedule (Financial Bid) in the website itself and Prices will be evaluated based on the rates quoted in Financial bid of the website only.

Bidders are advised to visit the work site at Sharavathy Generating Station Jogfalls before bidding to obtain the hands on information about the quantum of work involved from the concerned division head, thorough view of location of work place, arrangements required to execute the work and safety arrangements for execution of work. Further, post tender correspondences regarding technical specification and scope of work involved will not be entertained and it is the responsibility of the bidders to get any queries cleared before bidding for subject work

The quantity of materials and work mentioned or indicated in tender may vary depending on the requirement at the time of placing of the work order

Right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason is reserved by the Executive Engineer(Turbine)Jog.

The KPCL estimated rates (Amount put into tender) are exclusive of GST

The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only. The bidder shall quote his rates excluding/exclusive of all the applicable taxes as per the latest GOK/GOI orders

KPCL reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any or all the certificates furnished by any or all the tenders from the authorities who have issued the same. If it is found that any of the agency or agencies have furnished false certificates or information, the tenders submitted by them are liable for rejection

The bidders who have previously entered into an agreement for any works in Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Jogfalls and have not yet completed the work even after completion of scheduled delivery and work completion period, then such bidders bid will be rejected.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular agency/contractor/firm and shall have proven experience in carrying out Annual maintenance work of Hydro generator /turbine or Electro-Mechanical works with their allied equipment or carried out maintenance of Turbine/Generator and its connected equipment at various PSU/ Govt. power utilities in the last five preceding financial years. In proof of the above, the bidder shall upload scanned copies of work order and corresponding work completion certificate of at least one single order for above said work with contract value not less than Rs.20.14 Lakhs issued from competent authority. (Weightage of 10% per year will be given to the work order of previous years).

Financial Status

The bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover of Rs.40.28 Lakhs in any two financial years in the last five preceding financial years. In proof of above, Annual Report / turn over certificates / profit & loss statements duly certified by chartered accountant shall be furnished. (Weightage of 10% per year will be given to the financial turnover of previous years to bring them to the turnover level of present financial year).
