Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of kppp portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The Tenderer shall obtain the workdone certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer (District Level Officer) and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid. The Original Certificate/Certificates shall be produced at the time of opening of technical Bids for physical verification.

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason.

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 : Instructions to Tenderers (ITT), will only be considered for evaluation.

Bidders are advised to note that, 18% GST will be added to the contract amount.

The Increse in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

The bidder should mention the UDIN No on the turnover certificate, failing which bid is rejected.

If the bidder uploaded the false document while participating in the tender, the bidder will be responsible and action will be initiated as per the tender clause.

The work should be completed with in 03 (THREE) Months ( including monsoon).

The KPWD Code, KTTP Act/Rules ,Delegation of Powers and other Government Orders issued by the Government from time to time will apply

PERFORMANCE SECURITY The successful tenderer shall furnish Performance Security Deposit (Achievement Guarantee) at 5% of the contract price, security for unbalanced tender also shall be provided within 20 days after approve of tender as per rule 29.5 of the tender and clause 44 of the agreement in the form of Bankers Cheque,D.D,Pay order Bank in the nature of EXECUTIVE ENGINEER PWD Raichur Division.

Un balanced tender amount in the form of BG / FDR in favour of EE PWD Raichur( No hand written name of EE will be accepted) should be taken from scheduled/Nationalised Bank on or after the date of notification.

All the specifications in the commercial bid format please be read as with all leads and lifts etc., complete as per specification and as directed by the engineer-in-charge.

10percent of the agreement amount will be withheld till Final bill Submission along with requisite documentation

If the bidder quoted rates less than the estimated or amount put to tender rates , he has to remit the (unbalanced tenders ) difference amount in the form of DD or FDR drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, PWD Division, Raichur only, duly uploading the scanned copy of the same in the kpp-portal at the time of submitting the bid and the original shall be submitted to this office at the time of tender opening . Failing which the bid will be liable for rejection.

Defect liability period is One (1) year from the date of actual completion of the work or as per the current norms.
