M&L Earthing in replacement complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. Disconnecting the existing cable from Panel / Pole, removing the old end termination joint, preparing the end for jointing, supply and fix Cable end termination heat shrinkable joint including sleeves suitable for LT XLPE cable of size 3.5 / 4 core 10 to 16 Sqmm and reconnecting the cable with panel etc.

Deployment of manpower & tools / machinery for fault finding in UG cable by disconnecting faulty 1.1 KV LT cables of different sizes from both ends, testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) 1.1 KV LT cable & joints will be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (b) Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within one hour of notification of breakdown along with fault locating machine and manpower. In case the rep or contractor not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within 1.00 hour a penalty of Rs 1000 per fault per hour will be imposed over contractor and will be deduct from his dues.

Taking out faulty underground 1100 Volt LT cable of different sizes from trenches and relaying in the same trenches after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable complete. Note: (a) 1100 Volt LT cable & joints will be be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of BOQ.
