(iii) Applying evenly tack coat of industrial bitumen 85 / 25 grade @ 1.2 Kg / sqm. (iv) Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, weight not less than 3 Kg / sqm water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt with 100 mm over laps over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto 0°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane (v) Applying a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100 gm / sqm over and including a coat of hot air blown grade bitumen of grade 85 / 25 @ 1.2 Kg / sqm duly sanded over membrane complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The polymeric water proofing membrane shall be extended upto parapet walls and inserted in walls by cutting groove and making good with cement mortar 1:3 as directed.

M/L Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces with liquid water proofing compound @ 200 ml/50 kg per bag of cement or as per manufacturar instruction finished even and smooth without using extra cement over roof slab complete all as specified and directed .
