SCH 'A' Part-XI (BUILDING WORKS FOR PLANT ROOM)
Construction of Block of plant room cum duty room cum store with toilet including truss and ramp single storey permanent construction inclding structural designing of building and truss complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The architectural drawings in r/o Block of plant room cum duty room cum store with toilet are part of tender documents and structural design of said Block alongwith of truss shall be carried out by contractor after examining the SBC at site and get the design vetted from any IIT (not by professor in his individual capacity). The work shall be commenced after approval of vetted drgs by Accepting officer. The other details of said building/Block except design which is to be carried out by contractor, shall be followed as per drawings and specifications of CA.
SCH 'A' Part-XII (STP WORKS FOR 120KL/day)
Design, supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of 120KLD Package type Sewage treatment plant with all mechanical & civil works, with suitable heating arrangement based on the technology suggested by the bidders in technical bid best suitable in J&K as per geographic and climatic conditions of site and as per following specifications and complete all as specified and directed. The STP shall consist of all components required for satisfactory functioning of STP. It shall be capable of meeting the output parameters complying with NGT, CPCB / SPCB or DPCC (which ever is stringent). The STP shall be designed for working in minus (-) 10 degree Celcious Temp at Zangli (J&K) at an altitude of 2200m above MSL. The detail design of STP shall be carried out by the contractor and get it vetted from any of the IIT and shall be submitted to GE within 120 days from date of commencement of work (Refer Sch A Notes) stated in Work Order placed by GE. The design submitted by the contractor shall be finally approved by Accepting officer before commencement of STP work. Notes:- (i) The technology being adopted by the contractor shall be best suitable in J&K as per geographic and climatic conditions of work site. (ii) The other components of STP (civil and mechanical works) as per Pre Priced Sch and BOQ shall be constructed by the contractor as per specifications, drawings and as directed. (iii) The design of STP shall be carried out by the contractor after complying the instructions of CPHEEO manual. This endorsement shall be made in approved design and drawings. (iv) NOTE:- Minimum sizes/details/capacity,etc of chambers/tanks, etc are specified in respective Items, to be designed and constructed by the contractor.
Sewage Treatment Plant shall include the following items/components (As the STP will be above ground, the agency has to check the invert level of Sump and accordingly the raw sewage need to be transferred to feed the Plant):- (A) COLLECTION SUMP:- The untreated sewer effluent shall firstly be collected in collection sump. The Collection Sump shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor. However, min tentative details are:- depth of sump= 5.05 mtr, dia of sump = 2.5 mtr, min capacity of pump = 170 LPM, Nos. of pump = 03 (02 W + 01 S) and dia of raising main from pump = 40mm. The invert levels of collection sump shall be finalised in consultation with GE in accordance with site conditions and proposed sewer line network. (B) STILLING CHAMBER:- The sewage shall be pumped to stilling chambers from collection sump. The Stilling Chamber shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor. However, min tentative details are :- No. of chamber = 01, L= 0.8 mtr, B= 0.7 mtr and D=1.50 mtr (including free board). (C) BAR/SCREEN CHAMBER:- Two Nos screen chambers (one working and one standby) shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor and as per specifications specified in CA. However, min tentative details are :- L= 2.00 mtr, B = 0.30 mtr, Depth= 0.20 mtr, Free board= 0.30 mtr, thickness of bar= 10mm, spacing between bars = 12mm, angle of placement of screen = 60 degree, width of side frame = 25mm, slope of chamber = 1 in 10. The sewage shall move to screen chamber from stilling chamber through gravity. The levels shall accordingly be decided as approved by GE. (D) OIL AND GREESE TRAP/GRIT CHAMBER:- Two Nos oil and greese trap/grit chambers (one working and one standby) shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor and as per specifications specified in CA. However, min tentative details are :- L=2.00 mtr, B=0.45 mtr, D=0.80 mtr (including free board). The sewage shall move to oil and greese trap/grit chamber from screen chamber through gravity. The levels shall accordingly be decided as approved by GE.
(E) EQUALIZATION TANK:- The equalization tank shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor. However min tentative details :- Volume=42.56 cum, Width=3.20 mtr, Length= 3.80 mtr, Depth = 3.50 mtr (including free board of 0.20 mtr and air grid of height 0.30 mtr). (F) SEWAGE TREATMENT UNIT:- The sewage shall be pumped to STP Unit. The Sewage treatment plant shall be of Package type with 120KLD capacity having microprocessor based control with all mechanical & civil works, with suitable heating arrangement. The STP Unit shall consist of all components required for satisfactory functioning of STP with inlet and outlet sewage characteristics as mention below. The STP shall be designed for working in minus (-) 10 degree Celcious Temp at Zangli (J&K) at an altitude of 2200m above MSL. The basic data about inlet sewage and required for outlet sewage are as under:- (i) Inlet Sewage Characteristics :- pH = 6.5-8.0, BOD = 150 ppm, COD = 500 ppm, TSS = <150 ppm, Inlet Temperature = 8° C, Oil & Grease = < 20 mg/ liter, Fecal Coliform = 10^7- 10^8 MPN/ 100 ml, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen = 30 mg/liter
(J) DISINFECTION UNIT :- Disinfection Unit shall be constructed as per details to be designed by the contractor. (K) FILTER FEED TANK & PUMP :- Filter Feed Tank shall be constructed as per details to be designed by the contractor. However, Centrifugal, mono bloc, filter feed pump shall have discharge rate of minimum 6.0 m³/hr at a head of 35 meters 2.0 HP/2900 rpm, along with all interconnecting pipelines, suitable size ball valve at inlet and outlet, Non Return Valve at Outlet, with all fittings and specials required including MS base frame duly epoxy painted and grouted, suitable for operation on 3 phase, 415 Volt , AC supply i/c connections complete etc as required. Qty - 2 Nos. (1Working + 1Standby). (L) MULTI GRADE FILTER (MGF) :- MGF to be comprised of latest IS. (M) ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER (ACF) :- Activate carbon filter to be comprised of IS 2062 Mild steel epoxy painted vassels with butterfly valve in MS frontal pipe works frontal. (N) SLUDGE HOLDING TANK :- The Sludge Holding tank shall be constructed as per appropraite approved design of contractor. However, min tentative details are:- Retention time= 4 hours, Length= 0.80 mtr, Width= 0.70 mtr, Height = 1.25 mtr (including 0.20 mtr free board and 0.30 mtr air grid). (O) INTERCONNECTING PIPING :- Supplying & Fixing of all necessary UPVC & MS Pipes of approved make including valve, fittings & other accessories etc. complete in all respect. (P) MISC:- Rates for all the requisite connected equipments as per design submitted by the contractor for proper functioning of whole STP plant shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates.
(ii) Power/Control Cable & termination Accessories : (a) Power Cables is to be provided: (aa) 3 Core, XLPE / PVC insulation, Armoured, upto 6 Sq.mm Cu conductor cable. (ab) 3 Core, XLPE / PVC insulation, Armoured, above 6Sq.mm Al conductor cable. (b) Control Cables : 4 Core, XLPE / PVC insulation, Armoured, 1.5 Sq.mm Cu conductor cable is to be provided. (c) Termination Accessories : (aa) Double compression Ni plated brass glands with earth strips to be provided. (ab) Non insulated Al/Cu Lugs of suitable conductor size are to be provided. (iii) Trays with tray supports : (a) Tray material - Hot dripped GI Cable Trays. Make : IEI approved vendor. (b) Types of cable tray - Ladder and perforated type with coupler plates and joining accessories (c) Minimum Sizes to be provided - 2mm thick 600mm(W)X2500mm(L)X50mm(H) - Ladder 300mm(W)X2500mm(L)X50mm(H) - Ladder 450mm(W)X2500mm(L)X75mm(H) – Ladder 150mm(W)X2500mm(L)X50mm(H) - Ladder 100mm(W)X2500mm(L)X50mm(H) - Perforated 50mm(W)X2500mm(L)X50mm(H) - Perforated Hot dipped galvanised MS tray supports are to be provided at regular interval of 2.5mtrs
(iv) LBPS : (a) Make: Vaishno or techno commercially equivalent (b) For manual operation of drives Enclosure - CRCA , MS powder coated with RAL 7032 paint shade, IP65 protection For 3 Phase drives - LPBS with Start/Stop PB with Push release type PB and mushroom head Stop PB with key with 1 NO+1NC contacts for each PB, For 1 Phase drives - Plug and socket (v) Above ground Earthing : (a) As per IS3043- Size is based on short circuit capacity of 50kA for 1sec (b) Cross section of earth strips or wires of suitable sized and body earthing E&I equipment are to be provided. GI strip will be provided as MOC for earthing. (R) Cabling : Suitable size of Copper / Al armored Electrical cabling from control panel to various units of sewage treatment plant as per the capacity of the motors / drives complete as required along with Cable trays.
(S) Instrumentation : Supplying & fixing of following complete as required:- PRESSURE GAUGES – Supply & fixing of Bourdon / Diaphragm type pressure gauges to Indicate the Pressure having range of 0 to 4 Kg/ cm2 for Pumps & 0 to 1.0 Kg/cm2 for Blowers as required. LEVEL Switches – Supply & Fixing of level switches to Indicate the low & High level inside the tanks as required. ELECTRO MAGNETIC FLOW METER - Supply, Installation, testing and Commissioning of Electromagnetic Flow meter 1.5" line size. Suitable for 2-10 m3/hr with flow rate for sewage water. Indicator ; enclosure – cast aluminum, weather proof IP-65; mounting- field (direct on sensor); supply power- 230 volt ac as required- 02 Nos. (01 for inlet & 01 for outlet) (U) Insulation of Package Sewage Treatment Tank with glass wool having density of 24 kg/cm² with minimum thickness of 50 mm with aluminium cladding with 0.8 mm thick sheet. (V) Flushing Tank shall be constructed as per details to be designed by the contractor and as directed.
NOTE :- The rate quoted by contractor shall include the following:- (a) M&L for Heating and insulation for complete STP unit and Equalisation tank as specified and directed. (b) M&L for all Chemiclas required for plant operation/first run, initial filling of lubricants & Lab test certifate, analysis report of water samples during pre commissioning and post commissioning of plant should be provided by contractor. (c) 1 Lot of foundation for Pumps, Blowers and other equipments as required in PCC and starters. (d) Suitable Temperature control measure insulation of pipeline and heating arrangement shall be adopted for winter season upto (-) 10 degree celcius at altitude of 2200 mtr. (e) Contractor has to submit all the requisite drawings & technical specifications duly vetted by IIT through GE and to be approved by Accepting officer before commencement of work. (f) Contractor has to submit drawing & technical specification of LT Panel through GE before placing order for approval of Accepting Officer. (g) Pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI bassed corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick with mild steel framed structure including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary welding, base plate, gusset plate, excavation, RCC work in foundation. Foundation design shall be based on load bearing capacity of soil at a depth of 1.5M from GL covering from bar screen chamber to activated carbon filter (ACF) having both side slope of 1 : 3 with clear height 3 Mtr on all sides and 1.50m clear space on all sides from civil structure 60 mm thick machine pressed precast concerete interlocking paver block any slope and size M-35 Grade over 50mm thick sand cushion to be laid at 1.5M clear space on all sides from Civil structure. The structure will be designed for loading as per IS 800, the design will be get approved by Accepting Officer before work commenced. No side cladding is required.

M&L for construction of valve pit of size 50 cm X 50 cm X 50 cm (internal dimensions) brick construction including all excavation and earth work in hard/loose soil, returning filling in disposal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed, PCC in foundation (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed aggregate), brick masonry in cement mortar (1:4), rendering 12 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) internally finished even and fair and pointing flush externally as the work proceeding in the same mortar, mild steel 50X6 mm frame MS sheet cover of 2 mm thick with handle and locking arrangment, painting on all the exposed MS work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make, all the MS embedded in PCC with two coats of black bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The Quoted rate shall include rates for excavation, earthwork, aggregates, brick masonary, PCC, rendering, painting, mild steel, sheet cover, disposal of soil, etc all as directed.
M & L for Road cutting/digging of size 5.0m x 0.6m x 0.4m, for laying of 150 mm dia GI pipe and filling and making good the disturbed road with PCC Concrete complete all as specified and directed.

SCH 'A' PART-XVI (EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORKS)
Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of outdoor type, step down transformer, 11KV on HT side and 433 Volts, 3 phase 50 cycle per second, capacity 100 KVA, core type, copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled, Oil Natural Air Natural (ONAN) with external cooling tubes/fins, delta connected on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector symbol DYN-11 (Vector Group) with neutral brought out on secondary side (LV side) and having tapping at 0, (plus/minus) 2.5%, (plus/minus) 5%, (plus/minus) 7.5% on HV side to be changed by means of hand operated off load tap changer/ gear. Switch handle shall be provided with the locking arrangement alongwith top position indicator. The transformer shall be IS : 1180 (Part-I) : 2014 with maximum total loses as per energy efficiency level 2 of IS : 1180 (Part-I) : 2014 and shall comprise of the following :- (a) Outdoor type HT porcelain bushing with insulator on primary side including all accessories as required. (b) One cable box on LV side (Secondary side) consisting of four Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods, complete with nuts and washers, with two Nos cable glands suitable for reception/taking out of XLPE insulated heavy duty armoured cables including glands, joints and jointing materials complete.
(c) Oil conservator with filter type drain valve and oil level guage. (d) De-hydrating breather with first fill dehydrating agent (silca gel). (e) Explosive vent. (f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover. (g) One No 100mm dia, dial type thermometer, vapour pressure type, having range 0-120 degree Celsius with metal guard having maximum perimeter reading temperature indicator with resisting device for transformer. (h) Two earthing terminals on tank to facilitate fixing of 02 Nos 32x6mm galvanized iron earth strip for earthing of body and 02 Nos 32x6mm galvanized iron earth strip for earthing of neutral. (j) Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (k) Oil level gauge. (l) Oil drain filter valve. (m) Lifting lugs.
(n) Oil filling hole with cap/plug with connecting plate complete. (o) Air release valve vent with plug. (p) Four plain solid cast steel detachable rollers. (q) First filling of new and unused transformer oil IS-335/93 (Fourth revision) marked filtered and tested upto 50 KV dielectric strength at 2.5mm air gap between testing electrodes. Accessories as per IS-1180 (Part-I) : 2014. (r) Busbar trunking of suitable size at LV side with complete fixing arrangement and incl insulators for connection of multiple outgoing cable at LV side. (s) The transformer shall be installed on a platform/foundation with steps as per manufacturers design and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contrator. NOTE:- Certificate of di electric strength of transformer oil shall be submitted by contractor to GE.
Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, filled around with 15 cm thick alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt and connected with and including up to 7.5 RM to galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and thimble and other ends of the earth strip connected to main panel and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40 mm bore and watering pipe 20mm dia light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-I in chambers, RCC 1:2:4 type B-I in pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bars @ 15cm centre to centre both ways including necessary excavation & earth work as directed complete all as shown in electric plate No-3 of MES SSR Part I of 2009. PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away form the earth electrode and pipe for watering complete all as per specified and directed . Note: The quoted rate of earthing shall be deemed to included cost of 7.5 M long GI earth wire and protection pipe and watering pipe. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order.

Supply and fixing Aerial Bunched (AB) cable (on Steel Tubular Poles/ other structures), ISI marked, HT 11000 V Grade, of size 3 core x 95 sq mm with three power cores sections stranded compacted circular aluminimum conductor screened with natural coloured XLPE insulation screened with black extured semi conductor compound and one layer of copper tape and covered with black exturuded PVC (core indentification by colour type marking red, yellow and blue with colour tape placed longitudinally under the copper type) and one bare messenger GI wire of 70 sq mm shall be stranded non compected circular alu alloy complete all as per specified and directed. Note - The following fittings and accessories shall be used to install erect and join the AB cable:- (a) Suspension clamp with eye hook. (b) Suspension fittings and corresponding eye hook. (c) Dead eye fittings. (d) Nylon Cable Ties (e) All Necessary Connectors (f) End and mid cable connectors/ jointing kits
Supply and fixing of Steel tubular swaged poles erected truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 300x300x6 mm thick mild steel base plate, welded to pole, B-118 final, taper cap,bolts,nuts & screws, poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 Part-11 type 410 SP-64 (11 metres long) including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arm, painting the exposed surfaces of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and with black & bitumenous paint externally for portition embedded in concrete, making five black & red bands at lower portition of pole each 300 mm wide alternately and making Pole Number with black paint at suitable height complete all specified and directed.
M&L for bracket for fixing of street light fittings bend to shape, made out of 32 mm dia GI pipe medium grade upto 1.5 mtr long fixed with and including two sets of MS clamp made out of Flat iron of size 50x6 mm, fabricated to shape and fixed with nuts, bolts & washers and including two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all specified and directed.
M&L for SMC enclosure of 155 x 155 x 100mm (outdoor pole mounted boxes IP 56 with metric knock outs for cable entry) for single row 2 WAY MCB mountable out door pole mounting type including one single pole MCB, 240 Volts, 'C' Curve type, 6 Amps with rupturing capacity 10 KA, having entry from lower side with cable gland for cable of size 10/16 Sq mm 2 core including locking arrangement complete and enclosure to be fitted on pole with clamps nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of switch air break, gang operated with 12 insulator switch tripple pole mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame with mechanism worked from ground level for current rating 400 Amp operating voltage 11 KV outdoor type vertical mounted type complete with locking arrangment, assembly with fuse mount carrier and fuse element of required capacity and isolate suitable for 11 KV including necessary electric connection and 11 KV Fuse (drop out type) of capacity 10 Amps complete with DO fuses with one number operating rod of 25 mm dia bore grade GI pipe of suitable length worked out from ground level and handle complete with lock and two Nos keys including flat iron clamp 50mmx6mm, MS channel of suitable size & length for fixing GOD including nut bolt washers complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing of LT Panel Board, indoor type of suitable size as per relevent IS, mounted on angle iron legs of size 40x40x6mm imbedded in PCC (1:2:4) block, type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) at pump house, floor mounting, dust and vermin proof, factory made (CPRI approved), fabricated out of 4 mm thick CRCA sheet suitable for 3 Phase, 415 Volt, 50HZ AC Supply, busbar chamber with copper busbar of suitable 400 amp rating for 3 Phase and 4 wire system duly insulated with heat shrinkable sleeve as per colour, supported on epoxy insulator 01 set, common earth bus of 25mm x 4mm at bottom inside panel board with two earth terminal out side panel board, cable alley cable gland with independent plate at bottom and complete panel board painted with powder coating in grey colour and complete internal wiring all as specified & directed. Following shall deemed to be included in the cost of panel:- (a) MCCB neutral link 415 volt 50 Hz, AC 250 Amps 35 KA - 01 No (incoming) (b) MCCB neutral link 415 volt 50 Hz, AC 100 Amps 35 KA - 03 Nos (Outgoing) (c) MCCB neutral link 415 volt 50 Hz, AC 63 Amps 35 KA - 01 No (Outgoing) (d) MCB SPN 32 Amps, 16KA - 01 No (outgoing) (e) On load Changover 250 Amps - 01 No (f) Digital voltmeter - 01 No. (g) Digital Ampr meter - 01 No. (h) Indicator lamp - 01 Set Notes:- (a) The cost of MCCBs , CT, instrument fuze holder etc shall be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be admissible. (b) Quoted rate is also inclusive of PCC foundation, earth work, all electrical connections etc. for LT Feeder pillar panel. (c) Panel drawing should be approved by Garrison Engineer .
Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of silent type Diesel Engine driven generating set with Governing class G2 incl sound reducing canopy (sound level not more than 75 db at a distance of 1 mtr) 14 guage as per guideline issued by Ministry of Environment & forest notification, & Central pollution control board 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz supply complete with panel for automatic starting on main failure control panel suitable for giving an output of 100 KVA after considering derating factor at 1600 metre altitude above mean sea level and capable of operating between temperature range (-20) degree C to 40 degree C at Zangli (J&K) and alternator of suitable capacity and RPM coupled with each other with flexible coupling mounted on Antivibration pads on foundationas recommended by manufacture. The DG set shall comprise of AMF panel with auto change main to generator and viceversa electric starter motor with batteries, turbocharger, water cooled & comprising all standard fittings, fixtures & all piping etc as below :- (a) Alternator : Directly coupled with Engine and suitable to produce 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire system, 50 Hz 0.8 PF @1500 RPM of capacity 100 kVA all as per as per IS: 13364 and up to date amendments with H class insulation, self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof type with two end shield ball/Roller bearing with damper winding in each pole all as specified and directed.
(b) Engine : Water cooled Deisel Engine (CPCB IV Norms Compliance) developing Min 156 BHP or as recommended by the manufacturer for 1600 mtr altitude having Self start engine (including batteries with provn of charging the batteries and leads) suitable to drive above specified alternator complete with foundation (foundation design as per OEM), as per IS:10001/ 10002, coupled directly through flexible coupling, multi cylinder four stroke, cold starting, 1500 RPM industrial type as per BS-649 or IS-1601 with AI electronic governer suitable to regulate speed of DG set from No load to full load completed with fuel tank of cap as per manufacturer recommendations, fuel lines, exhaust pipe duly insulated with asbestos rope and with support and silencer mufflers etc for continuous operation and standard accessories, sump pre heaters, cold start kit etc all as specified and directed. (c) Canopy : Canopy enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated after passing through seven tank processes16 SWG CRCA MS sheet and Lockable doors should be provided in Canopy with lockable fuel filling arrangement . The exhaust system and noise suppressor shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant / non igniting foam conforming to BIS 7888/BS 4375 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. Absorption type non‐resistance Residential Silencer shall be provided to suppress exhaust noise from the engine. (d) Alignment and Fuel Tank : Alternator and Engine aligned on a common 14 SWG CRCA MS base frame complete with MS Fuel Tank, fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS Sheet and is part of base frame. (e) Generating Panel : DG set should consist of AMF Generating Panel auto starting on main failure mounted as per manufacturer specifications.
Notes:- The quoted rates shall be deemed to include cost of following:- 1. Capacity of alternator at 1600 meters altitute -100 kVA, AC 3 Phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz. and shall be all as recommended by the manufacturer for above sized motor. 2. PCC platform shall be as per maufacturer design. 3. Engine and alternator shall be assembled on common steel frame by the manufacturer itself and not by rep / authorised agent / sister concern etc. 4. Engine shall be designed keeping in consideration of de-rating factor for 1600 meters altitute. 5. Installation, testing and commissioning of Gen Set shall be done in presence of maufacturer's engineer and not by any authorised person. 6. DG Set to be tested for 12 Hrs contineously as following: All testing materials and fuel to be provided by the contractor. No Load = 30 Minutes, 25% of Rated load = 1 Hr 50% of Rated load = 1 Hr, 75% of Rated load = 1 Hr, Full load = 2 Hr, 110% on rated Load = 1 Hr, Full load = 2 Hr,75% of Rated load = 1 Hr, 50% of Rated load = 1 Hr, 25% of Rated load = 1 Hr, No Load = 30 Minutes
Schedule 'A' Part-XVII (Manning, Operation and Maintenance of STP, DG Set & SCADA)
Manning, Operation and maintenance of main Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), DG Set, SCADA system installed vide above referred items in BOQ at Zangli Garrison for 1st year (12 months) after completion of defect liability period of Phase-II , by deploying requisite adequate Nos of experienced qualified skilled operators/ staff per shift (each shift of 08 Hours) in two shift on all days including Sundays and holidays complete inclusive of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance including the equipments materials and spare parts if any needed,complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The contractor has to work out the financial effect of Manning, operation and maintenance during the aforesaid period and have to quote their rates accordingly. Tenderer shall work out the amount he intends to quote against the M&O and Maint of STP,DG Set and Scada for first year after defects liability period and insert the same in Rate column of Item No 9.01 and percentage of the item compared with Total quoted Sum against STP will be calculated by BOQ in Col No 9 itself.These rates shall be converted into percentage with respect to quoted rates of STP. (ii) The equipments to be maintained during M&O are specifed in clause 39 of particular specification. (iii) Maintenance and operation of STP, DG Set and SCADA system installed in this contract during the defect liability period of two years from date of completion of Phase II shall also be carried out by the contractor by deploying requisite Nos of trained FGM per shift for two shift (each shift of 08 Hours) on all days including Sundays and holidays. The Lump Sum quoted by bidders for STP in Item No 04 of BOQ shall include for Manning, Operation and maintanance during defect liability period of 2 years . This point shall be noted by tenderers before quoting their rates and nothing extra shall be admissible to tenderer on a later stage on this account.

Notes for item Nos 9.01 to 9.03:- (i) Duty roster of manpower deployed shall be displayed otherwise recovery of Rs 1000/- per installation per day shall be made iii) Contractor shall take labour license for provision of labour under contract . All the provisions of contract labour act 1970 and amendment there to and specified in tender shall be strictly adhered to (iii) For payment of minimum wages to the works, provision in tender and particular specifications shall be strictly adhered. The contractor shall pay the workmen as per minimum fair wages applicable time to time and shall submit the payment proof to GE. Quoted rates include for said provisions. (iv) Log sheet for records shall be supplied by contractor after approval of format by Engineer in Charge. (vi) Diesel and engine oil for DG set shall be provided by GE Office. (v) Contractor shall ensure that treated water shall be confirmed within the permissible limit. (vi) Proper running record in respect of STP, DG Set and SCADA system to be maintaned by the contractor and produced to Engineer in Charge as and when required. (vii) Contractor will hand over STP plant and installations to the deptt in good woking condition on expiry of contract period. (viii) Contractor shall strictly ensure proper training to MES personal wrt operation and mintenance of STP and SCADA works. (ix) All consumable required for operation of plant (except fuel i.e POL and fuel) shall be provided by contractor at his own cost as per the manufacturers instructions and direction of GE during the period of Maintenance & Operation. Any breakdown to the equipments shall be make good and the STP, DG set and SCADA shall be in running position all the time during the period of defect liability and 3 years of M&O and maintenance. Quoted rates shall include the said provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
(x) If any loss or damage takes place to the equipment, machinery, tools, stores, fitting and fixtures etc or any other equipment installed in the pump house premises during the contract period, the same shall be made good/borne by the contractor. (xi) The contractor shall be responsible for watch and guard of installations round the clock. Any loss or damage to the plant, equipment installed and Govt. property in the Pump house premises shall be made good/borne by the contractor. (xii) General cleanliness and upkeeping the existing installation including vegetation within the primises of pump houses/sumps area upto 5 Mtrs allround within the boundary walls by deploying manpower with T&P if required , at any time all as directed.(viii) Please ensure that all trade men engaged in subject work covered in EPF scheme. Proper doc should be maintained in this regard and submitted alongwith each payment. (xiii) Contractor’s quoted rate shall be deemed to include removal of dried sludge and its disposal outside MD land during the Maintenance & Operation period as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (xiv) Testing of incoming sewage and treated sewage shall be done by the contractor from any Govt. approved lab as approved by GE on a monthly basis during the Maintenance & Operation period and test report shall be submitted to GE. Contractor’s quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same. (xv) In case, contractor fails to employ the duty personnel, he shall be liable to bear the recovery @ Rs 2500 per day and No payment shall be made for the same. (xvi) Unit rates inserted are inclusive of minimum wages as per latest notifications, statuary provisions and contractor profit with GST and shall be deemed to be included for above aspect. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
