Note :(i) The general checking and preventive maintanance will include diesel filter , oil filter, air filter, checking of oil level, earthing connections, timer, contactor, fan belt, exhaust, silencer, alternator, fuel injector, solenoid valve, water pump, mother board, governor card, electrical wiring, all type of sensors, alternator,battery charger, dynamo etc. (ii) Rate quoted by the tenderer are also deemed to inclusive of replacement of minor parts like nut, bolts washers, lugs etc. oiling & greasing (iii) Major Parts/materials required against this item for repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective supply only items (iv) Labour required for replacement of such items shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

M&L for dismantling the self starter 12 Volts DC of DG sets and transporting to work shop for carrying out overhauling by replacing all unserviceable spares including pinion, re-assembling and refixing the same to DG sets including testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling the self starter 24 Volts DC of DG sets and transporting to work shop for carrying out overhauling by replacing all unserviceable spares including pinion, re-assembling and refixing the same to DG sets including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of totally damaged self starter suitable for DG Set of capacity 62.5 KVA all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement high temprature diesel Hose pipe of 1000 PSI to 1250 PSI of size upto 12.5 mm dia for connecting from diesel tank outlet to Engine complete with banjo bolt & washer complete all as spcified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out unserviceable asbestos rope from the exhaust pipe cleaning the exhaust pipe supply and wraping new asbestos rope of suitable size and wrapping with wire mesh and plasterig withplaster of paris /white cement for smooth finishing including replacement of gasket and tightening of all nut and bolts all as directed by the Engineer-in -Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Radiator of DG set including all connections and suitable accessories with water hose pipe suitable for following capacity DG Sets complete with testing all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding of armature of dynamo/alternator of DG set of capacity 40 KVA with 'H' class copper wire as per existing gauge dismantling the old coil cleaning throughly winding with super enameled copper conductor of existing size and gauge , varnishing drying and fixing back with dynamo alternator properly testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for complete checking of AMF panel, syncronization panel installed for DG set of capacity 1010KVA ,Make Cummins , finding the fault , servicing complete including replacement of minor unservisible spares, relays 10 pin / 12 pin / 15 pin , Power contactor coils , automatic float cum boost charger, ACB Shunt release tripping coil, ACB closing coil as per site requirement, testing complete for manual & Auto operations complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Notes (i) The spare parts required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as "Supply only" under the relevant item here in after. (ii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include for all minor spares/extras.

Supply only Electronic timers with auxilary voltage of 110/240/415v 50Hz for operation of 12-120 secs as existing for DG Set 1010 KVA Cummins AMF Panel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only ACB Closing coll of 110V/240V as existing for DG Set 1010 KVA Cummins DG Set AMF Panel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only of the following power contactors Coils operatable at 110V/230V/440V 50Hz Supply as existing for DG Set 1010 KVA Cummins DG Set AMF Panel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only relay 10 pin/12 pin/15 pin as per existing DG Set AMF.Panel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement AMF controller circuit board, having part No "EASYGEN -2300-58440-2080 A" Cummins installed in 1010KVA DG set AMF panel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix, battery leads of PVC insulated sheathed multi core copper conductor 16 Sqmm (nominal area) heavy duty cable 2.0 m long with copper lugs duly crimped & soldering, including taking out old u/s lead and removal, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix, battery terminal of brass with marking (+)/(-) & fixed in position & testing, including taking down and removal, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Solenoid Switch and start/stop relay card and testing complete all as specified for DG sets of following capacity:-

Supply and Laying Cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strips or wire armoured cables (heavy duty) ISI marked with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade and connecting and testing in trenches, under floors/ roads or on walls including taking down old cable of Size 70 Sqmm 3.5 core including taking down old one all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Earth work, excavation shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of schedule)

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation for laying cable etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning,filling in and including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bricks for protection cover to under ground cable (with old size sub class 'B' bricks) laid flat abutting each other with width of protection being equal to length of brick. The gap between should not exceed 10 mm as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :-(i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Material and labour for dismantling old earthing and Supply , installation and testing earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60 cm×60 cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not lessthan 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to and including GI Strip 32 x 6 mm (upto the body of equipment) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI medium grade pipe.Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover & frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation and earth work , all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I. Notes :- (i) PCC Chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting maner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
