Excavation in soil in Hilly area by manual/ mechanical means including cutting and trimming of Iside slopes and disposing of excavated earth with all lifts and lifts as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1603.1 including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work, and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer -in-Charge at site and sorting out useful and un- useful material and transportation of the un -useful material for disposing at approved dumping site or otherwise and including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owner of dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) for the satisfaction of Engineer- in -Charge through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required) Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including V shape drain.complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Providing and laying in position steel reinforcement Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more for R.C.C. and other works including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete for all levels complete including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps drains etc.complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/ reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers in all depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up toall leads and lifts complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone including spreading watering of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification not less than150mm spread thickness including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying 80 mm thick faciory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade NTC or equivalent made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved s;ze, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with line sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses/ Framed work etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped screws, washers etc.complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Painting Steel work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint to give an even shade. Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.80 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture

Disposal of moorum/building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for all lead and lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Precast plain chequered tiles hydraulic compressed 22 mm thick NTC or equivalent Make laid in open ground,floors, treads of steps and landings etc. on a bed of 25 mm average thickness of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 sand) jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles (wherever required) complete with tiles of medium shades.including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.(.)
