PME WORK AND GRASS CUTTING WORK ON SOUTHERN RUNWAY IN TECH AREA AF STN GWALIOR

M&L for application of 2nd coat of Polymer modified emulsion (PME - RW) as final coat on flexible pavement of runway/links by mechanical sprayer equipped with pressure distributor in which 30 to 40% quantity of total mix (Water : PME) shall be used after application of 1st coat. The work will be carried out by manufacturer's applicators or authorized applicators complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note 1 :- PME shall be measured and paid separately. Note 2 :- The quoted rate includes carrying out skid resistance test (SRT) after application of final coat as per periodicity in accordance with IS/Standard engineering practices.

Supply only Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME - RW) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for cutting of grass, bushes, shrubs etc around signage/DTGM boards/Controller huts, edges of runway/links shoulders & RCC covered drains etc in airfield area mechanically by petrol driven brush cutter upto ground level and making the area neat and clean by removing/throwing the grass clippings/rubbish to a distance not less than 500 mtrs away from runway complete all as specified and directed. Make of machine : KishanKraft KK-BC-8640 or equivalent as approved by GE. Note : Rates are included for collection of grass clippings/rubbish manually by extra labours deployed by the contractor on same day and removing/throwing away as specified above.

Supply only 02 x Tractors of minimum 40 HP engine (alongwith one driver, one helper & Fuel) for fixing grass mower attachment provided by Airforce and cutting of grass & shurbs upto ground level with complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Working days shall be decided by airforce authorites. 2. Working time will be from 6.00 AM onwards and upto 2.00 PM. Any change in timing will be decided jointly by Engr-in-charge and Airforce authorities.

M&L for cutting of grass,shrubs and vegetation of any type & height on runway/ links/dispersal shoulders by Grass Mowers Mulcher machine operated with tractor upto ground level and making the area clean by collecting the grass clippings/rubbish in grass catcher mechanically and throwing to a distance not less than 500 mtrs away from runway complete all as specified and directed. Make of machine : Maschio or equivalent as approved by GE. Note : Contractor shall deploy extra labours without any extra cost for collection of grass clippings/rubbish left over or not collected in grass catcher by manually on same day and removing/throwing away as specified above.

M&L for scarifying bituminous surface using milling machine/mechanically exc 50mm deep and n.exc 100mm deep and removal from site at a distance exc 500m but n exc 1000m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing mud, dust etc and sweeping with brooms, fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for premix bituminous Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) Gde-II 50mm thick (consolidated thickness) laid in single layer using bitumen of grade PMB - 40 (Elastomeric thermoplastic) min 5.4% binder content by weight of total mix, (minimum Marshell stability 1200kg), using hot mix plant, spread rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient laid by mechanical paver finisher well rammed with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed. Cement as a filler at a min 2% by weight of total mix. Note :- (i) In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per Job mix formula, notheing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen of grade PMB-40 requirement is less than 5.4% then same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen of grade PMB-40 @ Rs 50 per Kg. (ii) Quoted Rates will be inclusive of taking out 04 Nos Stop bar lights carefully fitted on existing surface of Link and refixing the same in same location after laying of DAC Gde -II 50 mm thick, including cutting of existing/newly laid DAC for relaying of stop bar light connecting wires/cables etc and matching with surrounding surfaces all as directed by Engr-in-charge/AF authorities. (iii) In case the stop bar lights get damaged during taking out/refixing the same shall be replaced without any extra cost to the dept.

M& L Premix Dense Bituminous Macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness not more than 75mm) (DBM Grading -2) using min 4.5% VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500-10 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, over and including a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old existing concrete floor surface of any description and in any position by brooming down/ wire brushing & finally cleaning with compressor and to make the surface dust free and providing 5mm thick antistatic EPU flooring including prime coat, screed coat, conductive coat, self leveling top coat including removing old sealant cleaning and filling existing joints all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M &L for preparation surface of epoxy flooring and painting with three coats of polyurethane based paint over a coat of primer to lines , dashes , arrows , letters etc of colour as approved by Airforce authorities and GE complete all as specified and as directed.
