Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up ductile/ cast iron water mains (including all fittings) dia of 200 mm, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up ductile/ cast iron water mains (including all fittings) dia of 150 mm, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up ductile/ cast iron water mains (including all fittings) dia of 100 mm, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up ductile/ cast iron water mains (including all fittings) dia of 80 mm, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down old unserviceable 50 mm bore steel tubing and connections including cleaning & refixing or removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Supply and laying of 100mm bore DI pipes of make as approved by GE with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast, class K-7, ISI Marked, in any length conforming to IS: 8329 (2000) as per latest amendments, laid in trenches with & including EPDM rubber gasket (Tyton joint) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.)

Supply and laying of 150mm bore DI pipes of make as approved by GE with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast, class K-7, ISI Marked, in any length conforming to IS: 8329 (2000) as per latest amendments, laid in trenches with & including EPDM rubber gasket (Tyton joint) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing of cast iron sluice valve 80 mm bore, class PN-1.6 of make as approved by GE, conforming to IS-14846, both end flanged with stainless steel spindle, GM nut & CI wheel including making flanged joints with & including minimum 3mm thick rubber sheet, nuts & bolts etc of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cast iron sluice valve 100 mm bore, class PN-1.6 of make as approved by GE, conforming to IS-14846, both end flanged with stainless steel spindle, GM nut & CI wheel including making flanged joints with & including minimum 3mm thick rubber sheet, nuts & bolts etc of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of valve pit chamber of internal size 600x600x900 mm suitable for 80 mm dia sluice valve including necessary earthwork excavation PCC 1:4:8 in foundation type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate , brick wall in CM 1:4 and PCC coping 1:2:4 type B1 and 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 including provision of MS sheet cover 3 mm thick with MS angle frame 25x25x3 mm all round and at diagonals of size 40x40x6 mm and also MS plate welded to MS angle as shown on drawing embedded in concrete with suitable hinge and locking arrangement including two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as shown in TD Drg No. CEJZ/TD/819/91 sheet 1/1 dt 16/04/1991 .
