PROVISION OF GENERATOR SET 62.5 KVA WITH COVERED SHED AT MH PACHMARHI

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation,shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, for laying of pipe, cable, erection of post and stays etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth etc and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point including spreading complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Punned thickness shall be measured.)

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 35 sqmm, 3.5 core and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- Havells or Finolex or Gloster or Plaza or Universal as approved by GE. ( Note ; Excavation, earthwork, sand cushioning and cable protection will be measured and paid for separately

M&L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surface over 10cm width or grith complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rolled mild steel sections conforming to Fe- 410-W (Gde E-250) quality-A as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails & guides for sliding doors, fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) Type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and sub base of floors, path/ paving etc complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 Cum, getting out in soft/ loose soil including returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers n.exc. 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying Sub Class 'B' fly ash modular bricks laid in trenches with width equal to the length of brick, as cable cover complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing in replacement complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe light grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm), 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Supplying and fixing/ laying 40mm bore GI pipe light grade for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based 0.50mm thick(AZ-150) corrugated steel sheet of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws/ L or J type or cranked hook/ bolts complete all as specified & directed. Make: Tata Bule Scope Steel Ltd or M/S Cril Colour Roof India Ltd. or equivalent brand of other Make as approved by GE from list of make attached with tender documents.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning complete of OEM manufactured, static silent (Sound proof enclosure) Diesel Engine Driven Generating set capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA output), at prime mover rating at 0.85 load factor as per clause 13.3.2 of ISO-8528 (Part-I), 415 Volts (AC three phase, 4 Wire system of supply) 50 Hz at 0.8 minimum power factor. The DG set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with AMF control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet, outlet return inlet oil arrangement, exhaust pipe including all mounting accessories as required/ suitable for installation at Pachmarhi (MP) complete including, anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB guidelines and comprising of followings:- Note:- Capacity of engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration.

(a) ENGINE (prime mover): Diesel engine 1500 RPM, direct injection, four cylinders, in-line, four stroke, confirming to ISO 3046/BS 5514, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP (Not less than 83 BHP) to drive alternator capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA) at outdoor atmoshpheric conditions at Pachmarhi, MP, 12/24 Volts (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with dynamically balanced fly wheel, all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturers with and including suitable panel with tachometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauze and frequency meter and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor(ECPG) and engine protection systems (shut down, high water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc), fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables items etc complete. MAKE:- CUMMINS or equivalent model of other make- CATERPILLAR or KIRLOSKAR or GREAVES COTTON LTD. as approved by AGE (I).

(b) Alternator: Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase 415 Volts, 4 wire rated for output of 62.5 KVA/ 50 KW, minimum power factor 0.8, 1500 RPM, IP23 protection class enclosure, insulation class "H", salient pole, revolving field, single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match with the engine as specified above. MAKE: STAMFORD or or equivalent model of other make- CATERPILLAR or GREAVES COTTON LTD. or KIRLOSKAR or JYOTI as approved by AGE (I).

(c) BASE PLATE: Made out of structural steel as per manufacturers recommended design/specifications complete.

(d) Accoustic Enclosure: Sheet metal fabricated cope type, powder coated silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms complete. Note: Enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level as under with following conditions as laid down in GSR No. 371 (E) dt 17 May 2002: (i) 75 DB at a distance of 1.0M at 75% load under field condition. (ii) 70 DB at 3.0M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labelling certificaton, etc

(f) Foundation/ Plinth/ Base: PCC platform of size extended 0.50M all round of DG set (outer dimensions), 0.60M above GL and 0.15M below GL in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, foundation 150mm thick and 150mm extending on all sides of PCC platform in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation & earth work and plaster/ rendering in CM 1:4 on all sides of PCC platform upto 15cm below from GL and two coats of white wash on plastered surfaces including prepration of surfaces complete.

(g) Diesel storage tank of capacity adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen set.

(h) Miscellaneous: Tool kit, operation and maintenance catalogue, spare parts list, overhauling manuals, guarnatee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices as and when asked.

General Notes for item No. 14.00:- (i) The DG set shall be taken over only after it has been tested as per relevant IS specification/ instructiions by the contractor in the presence of an officer nominated by the accepting officer. (ii) All the expenses incurred on the above test including provision of testing apparatus required to carry out the above mentioned test shall be born by the contractor without any extra cost to the government. If the result of the test is not found satisfactory, the contractor shall at his own expense, replace the defective equipments/ materials/ accessories or any thereof as directed by the GE. Decision of accepting officer shall be final conclusive and binding in this respect.

M&L for dismantling / removing of old unserviceable DG set from foundation and keep aside or shift to MES yard safely including dismantling of old fuel tank and other connecting accessories with disconnecting of LT cable connection complete all as specified and directed.
