Distempering and Painting of Dispensary (Interior and exterior)

Amount

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete

Providing and applying one coat of cement based readymade wall putty (Birla care/ JK white/ Snowcare of Snowcem Indian ltd. Or equivent) including preparing the surface smooth by sand parering etc as per direction of the Engineer-In-Incharge. Consumption of the putty shall be not less than 5 Kg per 10 Sqm. Prepartion and application of the putty shall be strictly as per the manufactures guidelines and as per the directions of the Engineer in charge. The Putty shall be applied only cleaning the surface thoroughly. Required curing shall be done before application putty coat. The wall surface so prepared after application of both the coats shall also be sand papered with Amery paper no 320 no. to make the surface smooth and even suitable for any kind of wall painting. The rate includes all operation and all material and necessary scaffolding etc. complete.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre

Distmpering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready made) having VOC content less than 50 gm per ltr. Of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour complete. As per manufacturer's specification. One or more coats on old work

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give and even shade: One or more coats on old work

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade: Old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/ 10 sqm) on existing cement paint surface.
