Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting / Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5.

Excavation in Cutting in Soil by manual means with lead upto 50 m / Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 50 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Cement Treated Subbase / Providing, laying and sperading Material on a prepared sub grade, adding cement @2% by weight to the spread Material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of subbase. / Quantity of cement as 2 percent of quantity by weight for subbase.

Cement WBM Grading III / Providing, laying and spreading Material on a prepared sub base, cement @4 by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to acheive the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub base/base.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen (VG-10) using bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A as per Technical Specification Clause 508

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C, as per Technical Specification Clause 510

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders - Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Plain Cement Concrete M10 (1:3:6 nominal mix) in levelling course below open foundation of Head walls as per drawings & Technical Specification Clause 1109 / Rate as per item No.11.4 of Chapter 11
