Repairs of Kanhoji Angre Wet Basin gate at south Yard, MDL, Mumbai

1.1. Removal of Gate in in float worthy arrangement as per recommended Procedure of OEM & Diving Support (Inclusive of repair/fitment of additional lifting lugs and carlings etc, adopting appropriate lifting haulage methodology arrangement on the gate, Floating Crane with its Tugs, Port Dues & Diving Support). 1.2. Re-installation of Gate with float worthy arrangement as per recommended Procedure of OEM Commissioning after repair activities (Inclusive of repair/fitment of new lifting lugs, adopting appropriate lifting haulage methodology arrangement on the gate, Floating Crane with its Tugs, Port Dues & Diving Support) Note: Towing of Removed Gate in float condition to MDL Dry Dock and Back in float worthy condition to installation site of KA wet basin after repairs is in MDL Scope. Note: 40% Shall be paid on removal of gate and remaining 60% on re-installation, testing & commissioning

Procurement, supply & replacement of Ship Building Quality Steel plates and structural members of appropriate TSP & appropriate surface treatment and painting on both internal & external surfaces the exposed surfaces. Gate Dimensions: 31 M x 3M x 12.25 M. Only Outer shell plate on all 6 sides and excluding any internals, decks, bulkheads- approx. 150 tons. Post fabrication NDT, Air Pressure testing /Radiography Testing and others as recommended by class surveyors. Note: Steel Plates and structural members are to be replaced whose thickness observed less than 20% of the original thickness.

Supply & Welding of anodes on both sides of the gate (Quality and Quantity) as recommended by the Class. (Based on area calculation) Note: Quantity is tentative it may vary at the time of execution

i) Supply & replacement of Wire rope along with suitable socket fitted at one end of wire rope and load tested accordingly. As OEM recommendation details of wire rope are as follows: Make: Usha Martin. Diameter in 48 mm Construction: 6 x 36 performed, Breaking Strength: 191 ton. Length of the Wire Rope: 110 meters. ii) Calibration of Load Cell

Replacement of Ballasting & Deballasting Pipelines with suitable Valves, flanges, bends, elbows, plugs, nuts, bolts & gaskets on A to B Deck Supply and replacement of 280 NB Schedule 80 (MS Seamless with coro-coating)

Supply and replacement of 150 NB Schedule 80 (MS Seamless with coro-coating)

Supply and replacement of 50 NB Schedule 80 (MS Seamless with coro-coating)

Supply & replacement of Air Valves Air Valve DN 50 (SS)

Supply and Replacement of Rubber (Neoprene Rubber) Seal (120mm x 75mm x 25mm thick) with appropriate fixing arrangement

Supply and Replacement of Recessed Rubber (Neoprene Rubber) Seal (38mm High x 28mm Base Width) with appropriate fixing arrangement
