Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from supply, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 80/50mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well 150mm bore (approximately 40 mtr depth of pump set from GL) complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost

Lowering down of the submersible pump set after repair of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well alongwith column pipe 80/50mm dia and submersible cable of any size (approximately 40 mtr depth of pump set from GL) including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lowering down pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii) Rates quoted by the contractor for the above item includes the cost of assembling & connecting pump set to column pipes & assembling, jointing and fixing column pipes/pump sets/submersible cable and making necessary connections and including reconnecting water supply system. (iii) New column pipes shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'/ BOQ.

M&L for rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, super enamelled copper conductor including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding, transportation to site, fixing / lowering in position & testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed :- Note: (i) Cost for taking out/lowering down is deemed to be included in quoted rate against Item No 1.00 & 2.00 (ii) Only one time payment will be considered in complete contract period for submersible motor winding in case of submersible motor off loads/ burnt during contract period.

Repair to impeller of submersible pump of any description by brazing , welding, metalling, turning and polishing complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities of the pumps coupled with submersible motors :

Repair to Diffuser of submersible pump of any description by brazing , welding, metalling, turning and polishing complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities of the pumps coupled with submersible motors :

Cutting out the unserviceable / damaged portion of the 80mm bore GI column pipe of any grade, making new threads to suitable lengths (for providing long threaded socket) for jointing the pipes with old/new pipes to replace the unserviceable length or to increase the length of column pipe specified etc complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-(i) Cost for taking out of pipe is deemed to included in quoted rate against srl item No. 1.00 here-in-before. (ii) Each cut & threading shall be measured as one unit but new socket, if any, provided shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’/BOQ as supply only. (iii)New column pipe length shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'/BOQ as supply only.

Cutting out the unserviceable / damaged portion of the 50mm bore GI column pipe of any grade, making new threads to suitable lengths (for providing long threaded socket) for jointing the pipes with old/new pipes to replace the unserviceable length or to increase the length of column pipe specified etc complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Each cut & threading shall be measured as one unit but new socket, if any, provided shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’/BOQ as supply only. (iii) New column pipe length shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'/BOQ as supply only.

Supply only 6 Sqmm, 3 Core, flat submersible Cable, PVC insulated, PVC sheathed with multi-stranded copper conductors, 1100 Volt grade, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Cost for taking out of cable is deemed to included in quoted rate against srl item No. 1.00 here-in-before.

Material & labour for water proof joint of submersible cable 3 core of any size using fine rubber and M Seal etc all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Material and labour for cast iron/ductile iron specials/fittings such as bend, tee, socket, collar Reducer, Tail Pieces etc. suitable for spigot and socketed/ flanged end pipe of above 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities pumps & motors :- Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ and fixing charge are deemed to include in quoted rate. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ for rewinding. (iii) Quoted rate deemed to include transportation to & from of pumps/ motors to workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (iv) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ. (v) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'./BOQ.

Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Quoted rate deemed to include for transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop replacement of necessary unserviceable screws/nuts /bots/washers/ packing etc. (iii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ for rewinding.

M&L for Rewinding of motor 2/5 Hp three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply Induction motor of mono block booster pump with existing size PVC insulated copper conductor as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding ,transportation to site, fixing in position & testing on full load complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 23.00 here-in-before for capacity 20/ 40 HP of any make & any discription.

Taking out unserviceable centrifugal pump of set any make and capacity 20 to 40 Hp capacity and transpoting to civil work shop with and including loading and unloading and dismantling electric motor and pump set taking out old/burnt winding from the induction motor and unserviceable parts from the centrifugal pump set such as bearing cartidge DE and NDE side, impeller Ist stage and 2nd stage , pumpshaft etc and bringing back from the civil work shop insllated pump set its original position with and including minor spares such as nuts, bolts, and washers and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and taking out old/burnt winding from the stator for 20 HP induction motor and cleaning of stator with CTC solution and rewinding the induction electric motor with super enamelled heavy duty winding wire existing guage and existing Nos of turn with and including insulation material insulation paper, varnish and baking up till the complete insulating dried complete all as as specified and directed.

Cutting and taking out old/burnt winding from the stator for 40 HP induction motor and cleaning of stator with CTC solution and rewinding the induction electric motor with super enamelled heavy duty winding wire existing guage and existing Nos of turn with and including insulation material insulation paper, varnish and baking up till the complete insulating dried complete all as as specified and directed.

Overhauling the centrifugal pump set 20 to 40 HP capacity and including all work such as remetalling, grinding, polishing and balancing and S&F the following parts:-

Disconnecting & taking out of existing unserviceable center high jet nozzles and Supply & Fixing of center high jet nozzles complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking out of existing unserviceable golden brass fountain nozzles and Supply & Fixing of golden brass fountain nozzles complete all as specified and directed.
