FIRE FIGHTING SERVICES (Sch 'A' PART-IV (A))

Supply, fixing and testing of fire hydrant post as per IS made of MS ERW class 'B' pipe 100mm dia, the length of riser pipe shall not be less than 2 mtr long or not less than 1.2 mtr from finished ground level complete with flange, duck foot bend, flange riser etc. The fire hydrant post shall be fixed/laid on 200/150/80 mm ring main or branch pipe and branched off to 80 mm dia including painting with a coat of red oxide over two coats of post office red colour/approved colour complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate quoted by the contractor deemed to be inclusive of duck foot bend, flange riser and other fittings required as tee, bend, reducer, collar/flanges, nuts/bolts rubber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed (for double headed hydrant valve).

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of submersible pump set electric driven, ISI marked, pump with bronze impellars, CI casing with SS shaft, leaded bronze bearing/bushes complete all as per IS-8034 of 1989 with copper wound submersible motor suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz supply of suitable HP, stainless steel tubing as per IDS-9283 of 1974 (suitable fro 200mm dia borewell) with head 70-90 mtrs and discharge 900-1000 LPM complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MS column pipe screwed 150mm dia 3 mtr long having wall thickness not less than 7.10 mm ERW with MS angle heavy duty on both sides confirming to IS-6392 with provision of 08 Nos. Holes welded all around with pipe for rigidness and 04 Nos Ribs 10mm thick including 2 mm thick rubber sheet and steel nut and bolts 10 mm dia of suitable lengths and washers shall be confirming to IS 4272 table complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 6.02 of above but 1.5 mtr long complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix steel wire rope 12mm dia ungalvanised conforming to IS : 2266 (2002) with D clamp shackle type for holding motor and pump with U clamp.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing of water proof, PVC insulated and PVC round/flat sheathed, copper conductor (flexible) industrial cable of size 3 core 10 Sqmm, 1100 volts, conforming to IS : 694 complete all as specified and directed (FROM SUBMERSIBLE PUMP TO PROPOSED LT PANEL AT PROPOSED PUMP HOUSE).

S&F M seal joint suitable for submersible cable water proof and with brass ferrules etc complete for 3 core 10 sqmm copper conductor cabel 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of cast iron foot valve of size 200 mm bore dia, having pressure rating 0.2, flanged type conforming to IS : 4038 with ISI mark including all hardware and packing material complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of cast iron foot valve of size 80 mm bore dia, having pressure rating 0.2, flanged type conforming to IS : 4038 with ISI mark including all hardware and packing material complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire hose reel (as per ISI) to be mounted on wall or a paint of brick work, swinging type with 18 SWG MS sheet, fitted with 20mm dia x 30 mtr long high pressure house with outlet GM nozzle with shut off valve (IS: 884--1969) included stop cock and chrome plate nozzle with all necessary fixing material complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate quoted by contractor deemed to inclusive of support brick work etc all as required for smooth operation of fire hose reel.

Supply, errect, testing and commissioning of air release valve fitted on the top most point of the wet riser with riser with drain connection including provision of 19mm dia ball valve and air release valve complete all as specfied and directed.

M&L for Brick masonry valve chamber of size 0.90 m x 0.90m (internal size) and cover including earth work complete all as specified and comprising of the following :- (a) 150mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation. (b) Brick work 230mm thick built in CM 1:4. (c) 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) internally and externally to exposed surface of thick work including 150 mm below ground level. (d) 100 mm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate. (e) MS covers made out of 5mm thick MS plate with double hinges, fixed MS anlge iron frame made out of MS anlge iron 40 x 40 x 5mm thick including 150 mm long hold fast made out of MS flat iron of size 25 x 4 embedded in PCC coping MS covers shall be provided with suitable hand grip and suitable locking arrangement. (f) All MS surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Supply, install including testing & commissioning automation combined LT panel board of 415 volt, 4 wire system cubical type floor mounting, indoor type vermin & dust proof fabricated with CRCA sheet of 2mm thickness factory fabricated totally enclosed complete with bus bar chamber & cable alloy, weather proof, hinged cover with gasket complete powder coated (seven tank processed) with all connected power wiring and accessories for switching on and off during power failure and pressure dropped in line approved shade, the automation system shall work as in the event of fire when any of the hydrant valve in the network is opened, the resultant fall in header pressure shall start the AC motor driven fire pump through pressure switches automatically pressure switches and control wiring, (Contd in Sl No. 5.14, 5.15 & 5.16)

(h) MCCB, 63 Amps, 4 pole 25 KA - 01 No (outgoing). (j) MCB SPN 32 Amp, 'C' series, 10 KA - 04 Nos. (k) MCCB 32 Amps, 4 pole, 10 KA, 01 No (Outgoing). (l) Star delta starter fully automatic with protection relays, dry run relays, single phasing preventer suitable for electric pump set 70 HP - 01 No. (m) DOL starter suitable relays single phasing peventor for 3 to 5 HP for jockey pump and booster pump - 02 Nos.

(n) Rubber matting 2mm thick as per IS-15652-2006 for full length of main electric control panel - 01 No. (o) Automatic operation of DG set pump in case of power failure in activated mode and if necessary when pressure further dropped shall engage as third pump connected items like contractors relay pressure switches, battery charging circuit, boost tickle indication meter for battery wiring indicators digital ammeter in voltmeter LED clamps in all incoming and out going on line battery charges for auto and bust electrical control wiring for automatic operation as per fire standards. (p) The scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrically operated water pressure switches with necessary mounting/connection and other required accessories with electrical and control wiring and mechanical connection to operate at pressure range of 2.5 to 7.5 kg/CM2 all as directed. Note (i) Jockey pump to operate when pressure falls below 7 kg/cm2 in the hydrant pipe and switching off when pressue achieved. (ii) Main pump to operate when pressure falls below 5.5 kg/Cm2 and switching off when pressure achieved. (iii) DG set pump switching on in case pressure falls below 4.5 kg/cm2 and switching off when pressure achieved and also when power failure. (iv) Cost of wiring to pressure switch and connected deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (v) Suitable PCC foundation for floor mounted LT panel shall be provided by the tenderer and no extra payment will be given against the same.

Supply and fix of MS brackets fabricated out of anlge/flats of required size with 6mm/8mm GI U clamps with GI wahsers and nuts etc for supporting GI/MS fire hydrant pipes/tank running in fire duct pipes and ground floor ceiling level and for sprinkler pipes running, suspended in ground floor and basement floor ceiling level complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The quoted rate shall include making hole grouting the same in RCC slabs/masonry walls with cement. (ii) MS Brackets fabricated out of angle/flats etc shall be meausred for fire fighting and sprinkler system.

Cutting existing road surfaces or hard standing 1 mtr depth and 0.4 mtr width (22 CM thick comprising bituminous topping) for laying of pipes/cables and making good distrubed surfaces to match with existing complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement hard standing railway track by trenchless technology of 150 mm dia max using ulstrasounding technique and necessary machine including suitable HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing energy efficiency LED street light fitting of 70 watt epoxy powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing and toghened glass with IP 66 degree of protection including nuts, bolts, fixtures for fixing LED light fittings, system luminous efficiency more than 100 lumens er watt, individual LED's should have lenses for better throw across and along road, PF>0.9 with voltage range 140 to 270 volt, fitting should be provided with 10 KV surge protection short circuit and over voltage protection facility for driver and fitting including making electrical connection, GI bracket pole internal wiring from pole box to light complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing MCCB 200 Amps, 4 pole 50 Hz, 36 KA to be fixed at existing panel or with a separate enclosure complete with some addition/alteration in panel and extension of bus bar made of aluminium of required rating etc complete all as specified and directed.
