SPL REPAIR OF ELECTRIC TRANSFORMER AND SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZER AGAINST BER AT OLD AMRITSAR CANTT

Taking down carefully old BER (Beyond Economic Repair) unserviceable transformers (capacity 100 to 500 kVA) from the plinth using a hydra, chain pulling, or any other approved means. This shall be done carefully without damaging existing E/M equipment, and includes opening HT/LT cables, properly disconnecting earthing, and depositing the units at the E/M store yard or complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of step-down distribution transformer: 500 kVA, copper-wound, outdoor type, 11000/433 Volts, 3-phase, 4-wire, 50 Hz, naturally oil-cooled type. Suitable for outdoor installation; connection Delta on HV side and Star on LV side with neutral brought out on the LT side with a solid earthing system. Includes an off-load tap-changing switch on the HT side to vary secondary voltage in steps of + 2.5% in 7 steps within limits. Includes standard accessories like oil, temperature indicator for highest temperature gauge, silica gel, breather assembly, oil conservator tank with oil-filling hole (duly plugged), bare HV and LV bushings, CI roller wheels, lifting lugs, explosion vent, air release plug, earthing terminal, oil drain valve of gun metal with plug, oil filter valve with plug, name rating and diagram plate, oil level indicator, and other fitting accessories essentially required as standard, including first fill of oil, Level 2 rating as per Ministry of Power notification No. SO: 4062 dated 16 Dec 2016 (as amended/revised as on date), including connection, comprising of the following:

(a) LT Side (Secondary side): Consisting of 4 Nos. porcelain bushings with copper rods and cable end box, complete with nuts, bolts, and washers, suitable for making connections up to 300 sq. mm, 3.5-core, 1100 Volts grade, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed heavy-duty armored cable, including joint and jointing material. (b) HT side (Primary Side): Consisting of 3 Nos. porcelain bushings with copper rods, complete with nuts and washers, with cable gland and HT cable end box suitable for outdoor mounting transformer, 11000 Volts grade, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed heavy-duty armored cable, including joint and jointing material. (c) Oil conservator: With filter-type drain valve and oil level gauge. (d) Dehydrating breather: With first fill of dehydrating material (Silica Gel). (e) Safety items: Explosion vent and thermometer pocket on tank cover, oil level gauge, oil drain filter, lifting lugs, oil filling holes with cap/plug with connection plate complete, air release valve plug, and 4 Nos. plain solid cast steel detachable rollers. (f) Thermometer: One No. 100 mm dia. dial-type thermometer (vapor pressure type), having a range of 1 to 120°C with metal guard, having maximum perimeter temperature reading indicator (with dual pointer) and resetting device. (g) Earthing: Two earthing terminals on the tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32 x 6 mm galvanized iron earth strips for earthing of neutral and body. (h) Plates: Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (j) Neutral: Extra bushing for neutral on LT side for providing an independent set of earthing for neutral. (k) Oil: First filling of new and unused transformer oil, IS-335 marked, filtered, and tested for more than 40 kV dielectric strength at a 2.5 mm air gap between testing electrodes. Transformer shall be complete with specifications as per IS 1180 (Level 2), complete all as specified and directed.

(a) LT SIDE (Secondary side) : Consisting 4 Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods complete with nuts and washers suitable for making connections 185 sqmm 3.5 core LT 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated and PVC Sheathed heavy duty armored cable including joint and jointing material complete (b) HT side (Primary Side) : Consisting 3 Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods complete with nuts and washers with cable gland HT bushing suitable for outdoor mounting transformer 11000 Volts grade XLPE insulated and PVC Sheathed heavy duty armored cable including joint and jointing material complete (c) Oil conservator : with filter type drain valve and oil level gauge. (d) De hydrating breather : with first fill of de hydrating (Silica Gel) (e) Explosion vent : and thermometer pocket on tank cover , oil level gauge , oil drain filter , lifting lugs , oil filling holes with cap/plug with connection plate complete , air release valve plug and 4 Nos plain solid cast steel detachable rollers (f) One no 100 mm dia : dial type thermometer vapor pressure type having range 1 to 120 degree Celsius with metal guard having maximum perimeter temperature reading indicator resetting device (g) Two earthing terminal : on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32 x 6 mm galvanized iron earth strips for earthing of neutral and body (h) Rating plate : and terminal marking plate (j) Extra bushing : for neutral on LT Side for providing independent set of earthing for neutral (k) first filling : of new and unused transformer oil IS-335 Marked filter and tested for more than 40 KV dielectric strength at 2.5 mm air gap between testing electrode. Transformer shall be complete with specifications as per IS 1180, level-2 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix testing commissioning of Servo Voltage Stabilizer for operation 3 Phase 415 Volt 50 Hz, oil cooled indoor type capacity 200 KVA design for input voltage 320 Volt - 460 Volt and output 400 Volt balanced type. Automatic stepless control with ONAN cooling arrangement with Automatic / Manual operation, with output accuracy ± 1% from No load to full load with response time (10 Milliseconds) with maximum temperature rise in oil 40 °C above Ambient with digital metering for phase and current flow with correction speed 8 Volt/Sec. Suitable aluminum Bus Bar shall be provided in Termination Box. Control panel shall be provided on front side of the eqpt and the control card fitted inside the panel. 3 Phase Digital module circuit shall be provided for Automatic control for all 3 Phase protection for Under Voltage, Over Voltage, Phase failure, Phase Reversal, overload protection and short circuit including bypass facility. Protection shall be provided through suitable capacity MCCB as per OEM recommendation. AVR shall be conforming to IS-2026 / IS-9816 & oil fully meets IS-335 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in replacement and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminum conductor of size 300 sq. mm, 3.5 core complete including dismantling the existing cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in replacement and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminum conductor of size 185 sq. mm, 3.5 core complete including dismantling the existing cable, complete all as specified and directed.
