Construction of Subgrade embankment with Moorum brought out from approved quarry out side the airport premises. The complete operation will include spreading the Moorum with dozer, dressing, levelling, providing camber, grading with motor grader and consolidating with vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity including making good the undulation etc. as per technical specifications and drawings complete and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Cost includes all leads ,taxes, royalty and operations)
Preparation of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, conforming to specifications mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to work site, for all leads and lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with mechanical means including neatly leveling & dressing on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075mm) to wet mix macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying polythene sheet (white in colour) of thickness 400 micron conforming to IS: 2508, on the base course with overlaps of not less than 300mm longitudinally and 300mm transversely over and including a base layer of 6mm thick fine sand complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer‐in-charge (Note- Only plan area of polythene sheet shall be measured for payment. Nothing extra shall be payable for overlaps.)
Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. minimum flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using 350 Kg of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC-43 grade) , fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge, using slip form paver including making necessary provision for expansion joint, curing, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and particular specifications. The item for execution shall also include the following operations: i) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10 mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification. ii) Filling Polysulphide sealant in dummy, construction and expansion joints including providing closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, and painting side of joints with Polysulphide primer, etc. complete (to be paid separately under item 9 & 10). Note: For the purpose of tendering, the quantity of cement used for one Cum. of finished concrete may be assumed as 350 Kg. If the actual quantity of cement required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer. The rate of cement exclusive of GST Shall only be considered for payment.
Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant), complete as per particular specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Mode of measurement shall be length of joint multiplied by depth of filler board including precut portion.)
Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995. in expansion/ construction/dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge & particular specifications. i) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers specifications and sketch at Appendix A. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length x Width x Depth) of Polysulphide sealant only will be measured.]

Supply of CI Transformer Housing Box water tight, round shape of outside dia 330mm height 450mm made of 10mm thick all round except on top surface which is 15mm thick having a clear opening of 220mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M10 tapped holes at the hole centre of 260mm to receive light fittings base plate and bolts. The box shall have a clear hole at two side surface, centre at 75mm above bottom surface and suitable to receive 50mm dia B class GI pipes and check nuts, and also have a clear hole on two side surface from centre at 175mm above bottom suitable to receive 15mm dia B class G.I pipes and check nuts. The box shall have two earth bolts of M 10 X30mm inside near the hole(100mm above bottom surface) and a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 1/2" dia., B class GI pipe as per drawing as required. (Double Hole).

Installation of Transformer Housing Box with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 630 x 630 x 100mm thick all round concrete of 1:2:4, 150mm thick top sloped with 1:2:4 cement concret including excavation of existing soil of runway sholder/ basic strip, disposal of excavated material within 50 mtrs lead, providing and fixing 300mm long 15mm dia "B" class GI pipe with check nut for drainage of water including excavation of side shoulder and refilling. The boxes are aligned in such way thst the hole centres fall in straight line etc., complete as required.
Laying of 50 mm dia GI pipe to connect the consecutive existing transformer housing box at a suitable depth i/c providing the socket, lock/check nut/any other suitable assessory at both sides of transformer housing wall to fix the pipe. The laying shall be in hard surface/soft soil including getting out the excavated materials, returnig the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including consolidating each deposit layer by ramming & watering etc., making good the same & disposal of unusable material etc. as required as per the direction of engineer in charge.
