Earth Work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth, kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 mtr, and an avrage vertical lift upto 0.5 mtr incliding breaking of clods (HSR 6.2 (b))

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Milling of distress bituminous layer up to 20mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 Sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks including hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of engineer-in charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respect.Note I: - The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item.

Milling of distress bituminous layer up to 40mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 Sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks including hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of engineer-in charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respect. Note I: - The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item.

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63mm to 45mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: only crushed stone metal should be used. No local earth /natural occurring sand shall be used. The local finer than 425 micron shall have Zero plasticity index (PI). Material to be used and operations of manufacturing i.e. approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 150/75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: No local earth /natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding/ screening.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-1) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing & Laying 40 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100/120 TPH Batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carring out Bitumenious work, coating and striping of Bitumen agreegate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and striping of bitumen agreegate Mix is less than 95%, anti-striping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-striping agent should confirm to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considred as incidential to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-striping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE in-charge writing before start of work. A proper record of result be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with approprate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with approprate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum bitumen 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrived material as per job mix formula). Note:- 1. The milled material to be used in B.M shall be minimum 80% of the theortical quantity. 2. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formulla no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carring out Bitumenious work, coating and striping of Bitumen agreegate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and striping of bitumen agreegate Mix is less than 95%, anti-striping agent will be used by contractor. Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat @ 1.46 kg per 10 Sqm with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note:-Note: - Before carring out Bitumenious work, coating and striping of Bitumen agreegate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and striping of bitumen agreegate Mix is less than 95%, anti-striping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-striping agent should confirm to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considred as incidential to work and nothing extra shall be payable. Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat with mixed material brought from Hot Mix Plant and laying with paver finisher and compacted road roller to achieve specified/desirable compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, signboard and night watch. Complete in all respect as per clause 511&510.1.3 of MoRT&H (5th Edition) 2013 (N.S).

Preparation of berms including filling of earth work excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MORT&H specification clause no 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR of 8%. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Re-laying of old CC blocks over 25 mm thick fine including transportation from road side where stacked excluding cost of CC blocks and complete in all respect per specification (NS)

Manufacturing, supplying & Laying precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 kg/per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position over bed prepared with 25 mm thickness sand and filling up the joints with fine sand (NS).

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide complete in all respects such as furnishing all labour, materials tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out the work at site conforming to the technical specification clause 803.4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition)2013/ latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trade mark or other means identification of manufacture, batch no, date of manufacture color maximum applixcation temperature and maximum heating temperature. The Thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian paint-Apcomark/Berger-sigmarc/prismo. The glass beads shall be of potters/sovitech/fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled end tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS Method. The contractor shall furnish to the engineer- in -charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specification. The reflactor zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test mathod mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of class beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262(part-3) Note: Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch no, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill signed by contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-in-Charge before use.

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 Kilometre stone of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing but excluding painting. (HSR 10.129 ii + 16.75 b ii)

Providing and fixing public information board consisting of 75mm G.I. pipe of size 2.45 mtr x 1.15 mtr with 900mm x 900mm G.I. sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5mm thick steel plate of 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the drawing and fixing at site in 60 x60 x 75cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and fixing Reinforced cement concrete village boards 1.85x0.90x0.075 mtr with CC 1:1, 1/2:3 including cost of steel and 6 mm thick CM plaster 1:4, loading and unloading carriage at site of work , fixing at site in CC 1:4:8 and painting sign boards with synthetic enamal paint two coat complete in all respect s per drawing and design

Providing and fixing of H.I. retro reflective cautionary sign board made out of (16 gauge) M.S. Sheet size 900 mm equatorial triangle (Corners Bounded off to R-45). The board shall be stove enameled in grey color on back side and front face covered H.I. retro reflective tape sheeting in white/red color. The black color symbol shall be non refractive. The size shape & color scheme shall be strictly as per IRC 67/1977. The board shall be strengthened with back support frame of M.S. Angle of size 25x25x3mm. The boards have suitable arrangement for fixing on post with nuts and bolts. the boards shall be supplied with one M.S. Angle iron post of size 75x75x6mm of 3.0 mtrs. Length duty painted in black and white bands.

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick aluminum on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB Medium class 4mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (450mmx450mmx600mm)/ complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (NS item)

Providing and fixing retro reflective Hazard marker conforming to IRC 79 : 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of MS angle 25 x 25 x 3mm and leg post of 50x50x50 mm dia having 1.6 mm thickness duly painted, 1500 mm high embeded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.45 m M-20 grade concrete as per site requirement, using non metallic prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC 67 -2012 type-IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminum composit material sheet as base having 0.5 mm thick aluminum on both side.( of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Pavement marker (Cat eyes) molded Shank raised pavement markers madfe of polycarbonate and ABS molded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 type H and complying to specification of catagory A of MORTH cicular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III Dated 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not exceeded 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the intigrated cylendrical shanks, (of diametre not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30 +/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers recommendations and complete as directed by the Engineer (of reputed make such as every demnnison / 3 M /etc.)

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of soil, not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 Mtrs. Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in slabs with inclination not exceeding 25 degree with horizontal ,excluding steel reinforcement, but including centring and shuttering ,laid in position, complete in all respects. (HSR.10.82+10.95 a)

Steel reinforcement TMT steel bar FE-500 EQR/FE-500 D grade or more for R.C.C works, where Not included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including straightening, bending, binding wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights/ depths/ basments etc. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measure in length including hooks, if any separately for diffrent diameter as actual used in work, excluding overlaps, wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays,hangers and annealed steel wire or other method for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these item shall be deemed to be including in the rates for reinforcement (HSR 18.22).

Recovery items:The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- (i) Bitumenous material @ 1350 per cum

Ist year maintainance as per general condition of contract data Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantity laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismentling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rate are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entrertained and reserve price will be considered for all purpose in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. NOTE:- The bidder is not required to quote his rate for routine maintenance. The rates of routine maintenance as indicated in the bill of quantities are to be considered for financial evaluation and determining L-1 contractor irrespective of rate quoted by the contractor. If the rates quoted by the contractor differ from fixed rate, then it will not be considered and base rates as fixed in the the DNIT will be considered. However, the total amount of L-1 will not be increased from the total amount quoted by the contractor and rebate to that extent shall have to be given by the contractor Further, the payment for routine maintenance to the contractor shall be regulated based on his performance of maintenance activities as per chapter eleven of rular road in manual (IRC-SP-20-2002). Note: If any discrepancy found in the unit/ Nomenclature in the items of BOQ. The Nomenclature of HSR/MoRT&H shall be applicable.
