Urgent minor works to the Installed Lifts at DH Handwara.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) in M-20 grade inside the machine rooms of 1+4 (02 Nos.) lifts and G+4 (01 No.) lift for enclosing the bottom gaps to prevent rodent entry into the lift machine rooms located at the attic of the hospital building. The work includes curing of the concrete, centering, shuttering, and finishing complete in all respects, but excludes the cost of reinforcement.

Providing/fitting of MS angle iron supports to above ceilings gap areas, for closure , for pigeon proofing to machine rooms of 03 lifts and proving of necessary supports to ceiling ACP sheets of machine rooms as directed by Engineer in charge. Supports are to be fabricated out of ISA 40X40X4 and properly welded with attic truss members. Job includes applying of 1 coat of metallic primer to structural steel work.

Fabrication/fitting of MS angle iron support frames for mounting of MCB Boxes inside machine rooms of 03 lifts at space directed by Engineer in charge. Supports frames are to be fabricated out of ISA 35X35X5 and properly welded with attic truss members. Job includes applying of 1 coat of metallic primer to structural steel work.

Shifting/ carriage of material ( angle iron), aggregate, sand , cement and other material for execution of job from ground floor to 6th floor attic level of Hospital building by means of head load.

Dismantling of cabling from MCB Boxes of 03 Nos. lifts installed outside the respective machine rooms and refitting the same inside the machine rooms by engaging skilled electricians/technicians. The job includes dismantling, rerouting, and refixing the complete cabling network to the respective MCB Boxes, ensuring proper termination, dressing, testing, and commissioning of the electrical connections. The scope of work also includes providing and fixing suitable cable clamps, cable ties, supports, saddles, and other required fixtures for proper routing and securing of cables inside the machine rooms. Further, the work includes proper hanging and securing of all 3-phase incoming power cables in the attic using suitable clamps, cable ties, supports, and other necessary fixtures wherever required, ensuring safe, neat, and standard installation as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The contractor shall arrange all labour, skilled electricians/technicians, tools, tackles, testing equipment, consumables, POL (Petrol, Oil & Lubricants), transportation, and all other materials required for satisfactory completion of the work.

Providing / fixing of 04 No heavy duty Exhaust fans 300mm industrial Exhaust Fans to machine Rooms of lifts at attic of hospital building & having Specifications as: Blade Sweep Size: 380 mm, Motor Speed= 1400 RPM, Power Consumption= 410 W, Product Dimensions = (22D x 45W x 40H), good Air Suction, Rust Proof Body and Dust Protection Shutters , make = Reputed registered make. The industrial Exhaust fans are to be fixed inside machine rooms of lifts along with appropriate rating SS Combined Non Modular Electrical Switch Sockets, connected with 1.5 Sq.mm copper cabling t laid in good quality PVC conduit channels & fixed properly on walls from panel boards of machine rooms.

Hoisting and fixing of 0.50 mm thick pre-coated galvanised plain sheets on the outer side above the ceiling angle iron framework of the lift machine rooms for pigeon proofing, using self-drilling and self-tapping fasteners of approved/reputed make, fixed to the purlins complete in all respects. All tools tackles POL’s for execution of job shall be provided by the firm itself

Providing and fixing 50 mm thick Rock Wool insulation sheets with aluminium foil facing to the ceiling of the machine rooms of 03 Nos. lifts to minimize excessive heat transfer. The insulation shall be of approved/reputed make and conform to the following specifications: Density: 48 kg/m³ Thickness: 50 mm Facing: Aluminium Foil Application: Roof/Ceiling Insulation • The work includes providing all necessary adhesives, fasteners, supports, accessories, labour, cutting, fitting, and finishing complete in all respects, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at the site of work.

Providing and fixing of additional tube lights inside lift machine rooms by way of providing and laying 1.5 sq.mm copper cable of approved/reputed make, including on/off switches, PVC conduit, bends, clamps and other necessary accessories, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
