M&L for roof tiles, Mangalore pattern, interlocking at side joints, laid dry including dismantling old single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing.

S & F in repairs ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6

M&L for 2nd class hard wood (Sal) clean sawn battens at 20 cm centers, sectional area exc 5 Sqcm & n.exc 15 Sqcm including dismantling battens for tiles of any size and spacing complete all as specified.

S&F in repairs 20 mm thick 2nd class Hardwood (Sal) boarding, planed one side and edges tongued and grooved or rebated in roofs, ceilings, etc and fixed with nails complete all as specified.

-Ditto- all as per item No 4.00 above but fixing only in repairs boarding planed one side and edges tongued and grooved or rebated in roofs, ceilings, etc and fixed with nails complete all as specified.

S & F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI basedplain steel sheet 0.5 mm thick of an colour having tenstile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering / cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified.

M&L for second class hard wood (Sal) in scantlings clean sawn including dismantling old timber scantlings in unframed/ framed work in any position.

S&F in repairs 20mm thick 2nd class hardwood (SAL) weather boarding as per existing pattern/ design , wrought both sides, V jointed to give 20mm laps and fixed with screws complete all as specified..

M&L for preparing surfaces of wooden tiles of slate battens, any size and spacing, prepared and treated all over with two coats of creosote oil (measured over all on one side only, spaces not deducted)

M&L for second class hardwood (SAL) plain, solid straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified.

M&L for preparing new wooden surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified.

S&F in repairs 3 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing in squares n.exc 0.5 Sqm in each pane including repairing frames of sky ventilators of roof top wooden frames and glazed with putty or fixed with beads complete all as specified. Note - i) Wooden frames shall be measured and paid seperately. ii) Rate shall deemed to be included provision of required beeds, scaffolding and safety arrengement

S&F 9mm thick gypsum tile false ceiling of size 600mm x 600mm laid over and including aluminium anodized snap grid of size 605 x 605 mm with aluminium anodized angle 20mm x 20mm x 1.2mm fixed along the wall and main and cross tees of size 36.5mm x 23.5mm x 1.5mm and 23.5mm x 23.5mm x 1.5mm respectively with ceiling cleats / angle brackets of size 15mm x 15mm x 1.5mm including suspended GI wire hangers 6mm dia.upto ceiling level as required on site with adjusting level and fixed to roof slabs by means of GI clamp 60mm long made out of 40 x 3mm GI flat and expansion hold fastner 12.5mm dia 40mm long @ 20cm c/c including dismantling carefully old false ceiling with ceiling boards, electrical fittings, fan, fire sencers etc and making good disturbed surface as per existing complete all as specified and directed. Note-The rate includes for necessary cutting in false ceiling for fixing electrical fittings, fire sencers etc and making electrical connections as per existing complete.

M&L for Preparing wooden surfaces of wooden boarding at roof to remove all foreign matters and providing water proofing treatment with 3mm thick APP modified bituminous membrane reinforced with non woven polyester mat of weight 160 gms/sqm as centre core and without multiple layers of polythene finished on top and bottom with 7 micron thick flammable polythene applied by thermofusion using LPG torch on the bottom portion of the membranes after applying a coat of bituminous primer @ 0.25kg/sqm over wooden surfaces (An overlap of 100mm and 150mm shall be provided on sides and ends respectively) complete all as specified and directed.
