ADDN/ALTN AND ROOF TREATMENT IN BLDG NO.P-51, P-52 AND P-54 OF 10 JAK LI UNDER AGE B/R-I (S) OF GE (SOUTH) DELHI CANTT-10

Amount

Removal of entire existing water proofing treatment in any position including tarfelt plaster, lean concrete, gravels etc and removing the debirs out side MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leeping incl necessary scaffolding arrangement complete all as specified and directed(whether full thickness removed or only a part there of) and removing from cantonment area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.00 Kg of cement per Sqm on existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L 50 mm thick (average thickness) plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using (12.5 mm graded aggregate), as in roof, padding to maintain the uniform slope complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick (average) plaster on concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) on roof, mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : - WPC shall be measured & Paid separately.

M&L, Priming roof surfaces and applying water proofing treatment over roofs comprising of the following complete all as specified & as directed:-

(a) Applying oil bound bituminous primer at the rate of 0.30 Ltrs/Sqm as per IS 3384-1986 on prepared surfaces. Surface shall be kept free till the moment, the primer is impregnated and the solvent oil in primer is evaporated.

(b) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm of grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73 (Grade S-35).

(c) Laying 3mm thick APP polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt, (weight not less than 160 gm/Sqm) with a thermo fusible finish, torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surface.

(d) Applying two coats of aluminium paint @ 100 ml/Sqm over APP membrane complete all as directed. Make of APP: "Moply FP" manufactured by STP Texsa Ltd or Hyper Plas (Polyester) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or "Shaliplas"ter) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and Chemical Pvt Ltd or Makpolyplast manufactured by M/S M K Patro as approved by GE.

Note :- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectiveness of water proofing treatment, 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work, or in lieu contractor may deposit bank FDR for the said amount for 10 years which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

M&L for Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered and hold fast on edge including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only water proofing compound.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering with Readymix plaster (as per manufacturer's instructions) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth surface without using extra cement on wall and ceiling of up to four storied bldg complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering with Readymix plaster (as per manufacturer's instructions) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth surface without using extra cement on wall and ceiling of up to four storied bldg complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes for Srl item No.10 & 11 :- 1. Make of readymix plaster shall be Birla Aerocon/Ultratech Readiplast/ACC Accoplast/Fosroc Chemical (India) Pvt Ltd Renderoc and as approved by GE. 2. The readymix plaster shall be procured directly from the manufacturer or from their authorised dealer. 3 The contractor shall produce original purchase voucher alongwith test certificate of readymix plaster while claiming RAR/ Final Bill. 4. The Engr-in-Charge shall verify the genuineness of these purchase vouchers before endorcing.

M&L for preparation of new plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint, white or tinted (colour and shade as per new colour scheme approved by GE) over a coat of primer of same make including scaffolding for four storey building complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated wall surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of cement base paint, white or tinted (colour and shade as per new colour scheme approved by GE) over a coat of primer of same make including scaffolding for four storey building complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Complete removal of existing treatment , wahsing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces and preparing old plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coat of white wash on ceiling of old surfaces including preparation of ceiling surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for chipping of spalled and loose concrete and cleaning rust from re-inforcement by sand blasting scrubbing down conrete sufrace with wire brushes cleaning with water allowed to dry and applying a layer of zinc rich epoxy primer as antirust on all exposed reinforcement followed by a layer of bonding coat of approved epoxy adhesive on complete exposed surfaces of concrete to be gunited all as specified and applying two layess of guniting over steel welded mesh 2mm dia of wire and aperture 75mm,total thickness of gunite n.exc 25mm thick (average thirteen) auth cement mortar 1: 2 using OPC 53 grade cement mixed with polycrete admixture @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers instructions and finally applying cement plaster over gunite surface of required thickness to give even uniform and smooth finish conforming to proper gerometrics in cement mortar (1:3) to match with the existing surface as in sides and soffits etc of slabs, chajjas, fins, facias, parapets , columns and beams etc complete including necessary scaffolding, shuttering, necessary chases to brick work or RCC members at any height upto 4 storey bldgs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Steel welded mesh is to be tightening /welding with the existing re-inforcement ). The cost of welded mesh is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Taking down rain water pipe (any size) or pattern incl all fittings, head shoes, bends swan necks etc incl cleaning or re-fixing or removal to store(measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F for PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls, of 110 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F for PVC (SWR) bends any radius 110mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/wall by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc and brushing and applying neat cement slurry with 3.0 Kg of cement per sq metre complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Non skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 23 here in before but as in skirting laid over and including 10mm thick backing coat of cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs 2000 litres capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top), hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I, connecting up pipes including 25 mm bore ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and fly- nut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L 40mm thick PCC flooring 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone agg finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F 15 mm bore galvanised iron pipe medium grade with all fittings fixed to wall and ceiling or laid in floor including taking down of old GI pipes and connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F 20 mm bore galvanised iron pipe medium grade with all fittings fixed to wall and ceiling or laid in floor including taking down of old GI pipes and connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Notes :- The contract sum shall be after deducting the amount of Credit shown in Credit Schedule of this Tender.
