Improvement works to Corporation Middle school at Vadavalli North Ward No 36 West Zone

1. Weathering course in concrete broken stone brick jelly 20mm size in pure slacked lime over RCC slab. The proporation being 32:12:5 for requuired slope and the thickness of roof as required and well beaten with wooden beaters etc., completed

2. Terrace flooring with one couse of pressed tiles of size 23 X 23 in cement mortar 1:3 mix with impermo oil 2% by weight of cement and pointed with same oiled mortar

3. Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. (22 / 0.3) PVC insulated SC unsheathed copper conductor of 1100V grade in suitable PVC rigid pipe concealed in wall and ceiling with PVC accessoires in flush with wall with 3mm thick hylum sheet cover with TW switch box and 5A FT switch and making good of the concealed portion with suitable colour for PVC concealed light / fan Point (for electronic regulator) (5 points per coil)

4.Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. (22 / 0.3 ) PVC insulated single core unsheathed copper conductor cable of 1100V grade in suitable heavy gauge MS conduit pipe on wall and ceiling with MS accessories in flush with wall with 150mm x 100mm x 75mm MS switch box with 3mm thick hylum sheet cover for 5A 3pin non interlocking CS plug with continuous earth wire connection of 14 SWG TC wire and making good of the concealed portion with suitable colour for concealed plug point

5. Supply and fixing of single box type 4'40W fluorescent fitting complete with copper choke and condensor with conduit pipe suspension from the ceiling with PVC unsheathed copper leads from terminals to the fitting with tube

6. Supply and fixing of 1200mm (48") AC ceiling fan complete with stepped electronic 300W regulator with 1 meter down rod on the existing clamp

7. Providing two legged scaffolding using 15cm diameter blue-gum props or casurina props or best quality bamboo props of 4m overall length (3m height + 0.50m into the ground + 0.50m projection) the distance between the two rows being 2m in both the rows with two horizontal props with 0.50m overlap on either side and braces at 2m c/c including longitudinal and transverse middle braces to step up and providing a platform with country wood planks of 40mm thick and 1m width etc complete from using coir and nails etc complete.

8. Painting two emulsion paint two coats over a priming coat including through cleaning, scrapping, removal of dust and including necessary plaster of paris putty works wherever required etc., completed.

9. Providing Green board on walls in cm 1:3 mix 12mm thick using necessary black board ingredients etc., completed

10. Painting new iron work for doors, windows, grills, weld mesh sceens etc., two coats over one coat of primer

11. Supplying, fabricating, erecting structural steel work for roofing welded or bolted type using MS channels, angles, plates and round bars etc. conforming to IS specification including primer coating and enamal painting as per Design given by the departmental officers tc, complete as per standard specification

12. Roofing with Pre painted Galavalume sheet 0.47mm thick with necessary bolt and nuts and washers including allmaterials and labour charges etc complete - 10m2

13. Manufacturing, Supplying and Fixing of Stainless Steel Hand rails for staircase using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick at required locations to a height of 900mm from finished floor level welded to 38mm dia Stainless Steel pipe post of 1.00mm thick as vertical at 900mm centre with 2 Nos. of 25mm dia intermediate horizontal stainless steel pipe of 1.60mm thick in between. The vertical pipe has to be welded to the 100 X 100 X 6mm MS base plate encased in the base concrete. 14. Supplying and fixing 110mm dia PVC rain water down fall pipe including cost of pipe, shoe, bond, brackets, teakwood plugs, etc., complete - 1 m2

15. Provision for Painting and lettering for Child education awareness in the wall, using standard paints, necessary colour pigments, including cost of all materials & Labour charges etc complete
