M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using20mm graded stone aggregate) as in water tank base etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Water proofing treatment to sunken slab, walls, etc, shall be carried out as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) M&L for 15mm thick plaster/screed bed layer in cement mortar (1:3) on concrete surfaces and using extra cement mixed with including approved make WPC @ 3% wt of cement all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Preparing plastered surfaces of sunken slab, walls, etc, by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc & form angle fillet of size 40mm x40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar (“Dr fixit” Pidicrete URP” or equivalent as approved by GE (c) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with “Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape” and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitousgrout “Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout” or equivalent as approved by GE. Nahani traps etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grounted in the same manner all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. (d) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating of “Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus” or equivalent on all angle fillets by brush and cover it with mm ope woven mesh when it is still wet. Apply second coat of the same coating on the angle fillets and allow it to dry completely

(e) In the remaining area, in dry substrate condition brush apply first coat of the same coating and further apply second coat when first is dry. Extend the coating upto 150mm above the FFI. Above FFI, another cementitious waterproofing waterproof coating “Dr Fixit Pidifin 2K” or equivalent as approved by GE can be further applied right upto 2.1m to waterproof the shower area also, if it is a bathroom or bath cubicles of a sanitary annex and apply second coat after 6-8 hours and allow to dry completely (f)After 2 to 3 days, sunken portion must be overlaid with a 50 mm thick concrete screed M 15 type B0 mixed with integral WPC (Liquid) laid to stope 1:60 towards outer face of wall. Provide 40mm OD (g)Carrying out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leakage & seepages and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of GE.UPVC pipe at the lowest point with 300mm projection beyond the outer face of the wall. Then fill up the sunken portion with lean concrete 1:5:10 type E2. (Note :- Lean concrete will be measured and paid separately)

M&L for PCC 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded brick aggregate)lean concrete for filling sunken floor etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded brick aggregate) as in coving rounded, chamfered, sub base above lean Concrete etc on sunken floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of old water proofing treatment including screed bed and cleaning the surface of slab with wire brushes removing dust, foreign materials including flushing at junction of wall and and removing the rubbish off the premises to a distance exc 500m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, shall be carried out as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) M&L for 10mm thick plaster screed bed layer in CM (1:3) on concrete surfaces. (b) Preparing plastered surfaces of roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc & evenly applying a coat of approved bituminous primer @ 0.20 Kg/sqm of area complete all as specified. (c) Laying APP polymer modified approved membrane, non woven, polyester, weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/sqm with laps & overlaps as specified & joints sealed and applied complete by torch application method all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Carrying out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leakage & seepages and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of GE. (d) Finally applying a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15 ltr/sqm on the top of membrane surfaces complete all as specified & as directed by Engr in Charge.

Removing of existing water tank of capacity 500,1000 or 2000 Ltr setting aside (or lowering if required) for repair, cleaning etc and reconnecting & refixing in position after carrying out necessary roof treatment including necessary fittings and GI Pipes if required complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Necessary by pass arrangements for water supply is to be done by the contractor till completion of roof work.)

Removing building material exc. upto 1 km total distance including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination to a distance n.exc. 5 KM of outside of MD land.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated, steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi corrugated sheets in roof walls fixed with 'L' type or 'J' type or cranked hook bolts, washer etc complete all as specified and as directed.
