A-Supply Portion
Supply of documents ( Manuals for installation, Testing commissioning and maintenance of the system) one set consists of 6 sets of following drawings per station. (i) Manual for installation, Testing, Commissioning and maintenance of the system for Technicians/Jr Engineers. (installation & Maintenance level) (ii) Functioning and system overview (higher management level) 1 (iii) Completion documents as per special conditions of contracts. (iv) Design and supply of circuits and plans to suit layout given in the signalling plan for hot standby arch. Electronic Interlocking system. All plans and wiring diagrams shall be prepared on autocad drawing and supplied with CD. This will include supply of Control cum indication panel/VDU diagram, square sheet, wiring diagram ( Application logic and interface circuit), Fuse analysis, contact analysis, Tag Block Analysis, power supply distribution/ Power equipment arrangement (with program switch), diagram autochangeover diagram(if supplied by the contractor) and all other relevent drawings. INSPECTION BY CONSIGNEE
Supply of Instruments and tool kits required for Trouble Shooting and repair of hardware and software for EI system should be supplied for stations as per schedule item 1 of EI 3 above. (This includes tools required for EI maintenance sorts of crimping, insertion, removal, general purpose, tools like screw drivers, spanneers, PCB extractors, temp controlled slodering iron, wire cutter, nose pliers etc. & measuring instruments with carrying case/ holders/cabinet for technicians/J.E for testing, maintenance and repair at site). Each set comprises of the following: i)Crimping tools for all types of special cable assembly used in EI system. i i ) Insertion tools for all types of Special cablesassembly used in EI system. iii)Removal tools or all types of Special cablesassembly used in EI system. iv)Digital multimeter (Fluke 111 or better) -v)Steel cabinet/Almirah/ size 1980mm height, 915 mm width and 485 mm depth( godrej make/Jalaram) of good quality to store tools, spare cards and documents. vi)Steel book rack Size: 1850mm*900mm*316mm (H*W*D) for keeping documents (Godrej make/Jalaram). vii)Clamp earth tester -viii) Clamp current meter. Note:- Any other Tools required for truobleshooting and repair and recommended by OEM shall be supplied by contrcator free of cost INSPECTION BY CONSIGNEE
Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning with OEM certification of modular power supply arrangement for VDU ( 42" - 85" ) and embedded PC with input and output redundancy arrangement and hot pluggable modules having voltage & load current digital display on each module. Each set consisting of :- 1. Isolated inverters (master / slave with auto changeover )-2 Nos. 4 input : 110V DC , Output : 110V AC , 500VA (as per RDSO TAN No. STS/E/TAN/3012 Version 3.0 Dated 03.11.2022 ) 2. Isolated DC-DC converters - 02 Nos. connected in parallel with built in O-ring diode, active current sharing as per RDSO/SPN/165/2023 version 4.0 or latest (input: 110V DC, output : 24 VDC/10A ) 3. Input (redundancy) O-ring diode module with two input sources and one output supply along with potential free contacts, alarm and acknowledgment switch. 4. 3U stainless steel rack with back panel, mother board and front panel power connectors, power card for VDU panel. Installation, testing & commissioning of Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) complete along with accessories with contractors own wiring & fixing material at LC locations. This includes supply of 11 Remote Terminal Unit with 64 digital and 16 analog inputs as per RDSO spec. IRS -S-99/2006 amendment-3 as per annexure A-1 or latest amendment. This also includes loading of networking software and networking with data logger. The requisite communication cable/channel for networking will be arranged by Railway. INSPECTION BY CONSIGNEE
Supply of LED type, Indication cum Operating Panel to be made of exchangeable Domino units each unit of size of 54mm x 34mm cover plates decipiciting the yard lay out ,unit signal , track circuit etc,of minimum size (12 x 8). Siemens type Dominos complete, wired with full components. The panel should have polycarbonate sheet cover on the top to avoid damages while in service. Each of the working domino unit should have all terminals. Total nos of domino (12X 8)= 96 Nos. size 54mm x 34mm .The length approximately 730mmX450mm.The height is approximately 910mm(rear side) and 820mm (front side) .The panel will be LED illuminated (2 Nos of magnet , 2 nos of bulb extractor & 10 % of spares of all LED's of each colour to be supplied along with panel. This item also includes preparation of Selection Table,Locking Table,Control Panel and Route section plan,wiring diagram and other diagrams(other technical documents if any) based on Signalling plan supplied by railway.(completion Documents as per special condition of contract) this item for Baghai and Hinauta station.EI=Per EI

Installation of Cable Termination Racks Assembly complete including wall supports, 7 scaffolding, 8 way/ARA terminal/Wago terminal & other necessary accessories etc. The work shall be done as per approved plan, extant practice on W. C. Railways & the instruction of Rly. engineer at site.
Termination of cable cores on ARA terminal/8-way/Fuse Block/Wago/Phoenix terminals on the cable termination rack. This includes all associated works of pulling out the cable from 8 underground, dressing of cable, making wiring tree with contractor lacing & threading material etc. This includes soldering of armour tree/ring of cables and connecting to Earth Bus bar. The work shall be done as per approved plan, extant practice on West Central Railways Railway & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. Ampere
Charging of Low Maintenance Lead Acid Batteries with contractors own battery grade sulphuric acid and distilled water with minimum two charge - discharge cycles, installation of charged batteries in groups & their connection & wiring. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C. Rly & the instruction of site engineer. The sulphuric acid & distilled water to be used for charging shall conform to specification IS 266-1961 & IS 1070-1960 respectively.Ampere Hour= 100 Ampere Hour
Installation, Wiring and testing from Integrated Power Supply System including Connection to change-over unit. This includes transportation, loading and unloading of IPS system complete and batteries from depot to the site of installation. The all supplies shall be wired right from IPS to power supply distribution board / rack with contractor's own wiring materials except 25sq mm wire (which is included in supply of IPS). The wiring shall be done with single core multistrand flexible 10 copper wire of 10 Sq mm, 16 Sq mm, 25 sq mm etc. as per IS:694 of 1990 or latest as per RDSO recommendation of IPS installation. This also includes instaliation of CT rack in IPS Room,fixing ofARA/Wago terminals. with connections suitable for 32 A. The 25 sq mm wire shall be used for connecting Batteries from IPS, 16 sq. mm power cable is to be used for wiring of 110V DC, 110V AC & 60V DC (internal) and for balance power supply 10 sq, mm power cable is to be used. All connectors, wiring material, ladders, DWC pipes etc as per site requirement are to be arranged by contractor as per instructions of railway engineer at site. This also includes fixing and wiring of one exhaust fan in the IPS room. Fan will be supplied by the railway.

Installation, wiring/Alteration & Testing of Control cum Indication Panel / operating 12 panel / indication panel/Cabinet for housing dual VDU as the case may be, UFSBI, KLR boxes, Group phone, ELD, Fuse indication system & test board etc.This includes laying & termination of cable, if any from Panel Room To Relay Room in GI/HDPE pipe.
Fixing of Q series relay base plate/ Metal to Metal relay mini group and major group base plates, laying, lacing, dressing & packeting of 60/40/24 core PVC indoor cable and termination of 60/40/24 core cable on tag block & base plates & its soldering. Wiring of circuits to be done as per the approved diagram based on relay interlocking system using metal to metal/metal to carbon type relays and soldering after testing. This also includes fuse wiring, function wiring (Including interconnection between relay rack, & CT rack), power supply wiring (power wiring from power supply distribution board / rack to relay racks and cable termination racks with provision of wiring of ring connection with the help of contractors own single core flexible multistrand copper wire of 16 sq mm 13 and 10 sq mm as per RDSO specification no. IRS-S 76/89 with latest amendment. 16 sq mm wire for All 110V DC, 110V AC & 60V DC internal supply and 10 sq mm wire for balance supply is to be used) Materials required like jumper wire of 0.6 mm, 1.0 mm, 16/0.02 multistrand flexible etc, resin core, solder wire, lacing thread, adhesive tapes resistance, condensers, diodes, lugs etc of various ratings a n d capacity as per site requirement to arranged by the contractor free of cost and used after approval of Rly engineer at site. The jumper wire of 0.6mm, 1mm , flexible wire of 16/0.02, power wire of 16 & 10 sqmm equired for carrying out the indoor work shall be supplied by contractor as per RDSO specification no. IRS-S 76/89 with latest amendment after RDSO inspection. The quantity of jumper wire should be assessed jointly with the engineer in charge in beginning itself.). The work shall be done as per approved plan extant practice on W. C. Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. Required quantity of 60/40/24 core PVC indoor cables will be supplied by Railway.
Installation of Q series relay, Metal to Metal relay/relay groups. Energisation of the system, making the panel through, functional test as per control table with contractor's own mock 14 panel, break test if applicable to be done in presence of Rly. Engineers. This will include wiring alterations required if any at that stage, preparation and submission of wire count detail register etc. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C.Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. All type of resistances, capacitors etc required for commissioning have to be provided by the contractor free of cost.
Lettering & Numbering of detail and description writing of particulars of terminations & equipments on relay rack, relays, cable termination rack, battery & power equipments, IPS, operating 15 panel, axle counter etc constituting entire system with contractor's own paint and writing material ("Asian" make or similar enamel paints or similar paint only to be used). This includes supply and fixing of teflon strips 3mm thick and 25 mm wide for each row of relays and cable terminations. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C.Rly & instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Preparation & submission of cable route plan of main & tail cables, cable corage plan, 16 location particulars, CT rack particulars, meggering report, earth resistance particulars, traction bonding diagram and any other drawing / particular required in Auto CAD in minimum A3 size for station including LC gate if any. Each sheet should have a block for signature of Railway Officials as well as block for signature of the firm, where signature shall be put up by the authorized signatory of the firm. The name of the work as given by the Railways shall be written on every sheet under the WORK column. One complete set of tracings and four sets of copies of complete above detailed particulars / drawings along with one Pen Drive to be supplied by the contractor in thick plastic folder.
Excavation, casting and plastering (above ground level) of main signal foundation as 17 per Drg.No.WCR/S&T/SIG/01 with contractor's own materials including cement and galvanised anchor bolts of standard size. The hole for cable entry should be kept as per site requirement and instruction of Rly engineer at site. The required scaffolding Ferma etc for casting of foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost.
Excavation, casting and plastering (above ground level) of Shunt Signal foundation as 18 per Drg.No.WCR/S&T/SIG/01 with Contractor's own materials including Cement and galvanised Anchor Bolts of Standard Size. The hole for cable entry should be kept as per site requirement and instruction of Rly engineer at site. The required scaffolding, Ferma etc for casting of foundation will have to be brought by the Contractor at his own cost.
Erection of CLS Post with Surface base and signal unit on top or on OFF set Bracket, fixing of front and back staging, ladder and guards, signal name plates and A/AG/C/P/G marker board , 19 protective screen, blanking of ladder (0.6mm MS sheet) if any with contractors own brackets and fixing materials. This also includes erection of auxiliary signals like calling on, shunt signal if any. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. Wooden white cross-arms (1000x100 mm) to be provided by the contractor till the signals are commissioned with contractor's own material.

Fixing of Jn. Route Indication 1-Way/2-Way/3-Way/multi type on the top of the signal post.

Termination of tail cable on Shunt signal units and wiring with contractor own material, 23 fixing of LED signal unit etc. Flexible Single core copper wire 2.5 sq.mm (50/0.25) conforming to IS- 694:1990 copper wire as per Rly. Standard and lugs etc. will be supplied by the contractor. This includes insertion of tail cables from ground to signal unit. The work shall be done as per instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Installation of Eqpt. (Relays, resistance, chargers & batteries etc.) & wiring of the same in apparatus cases as per location & circuit diagrams with contractor's own PVC wires and wiring 28 material. The work shall be done as per instruction of Rly engineer at site and approval of wiring material ( from RDSO approved firms) being used and extant practice in W.C. Rly). Wiring of relays should be with 16/0.2mm wire and all other equipments wiring by 2.5 sq mm multi strand wire of IS 694 of 1990 or latest.
Fixing of ARA /WAGO Terminals and fuse blocks with provision of holes on hylem sheets and fixing by galvanised nuts & bolts.This includes provision of two additional holes on the hylam board on either side for cable conductor entry. The work shall be done as per Engg. at site. Per
Termination of cable cores on ARA/ disconnecting type terminal, fuse blocks, 8 way 30 terminals block in the apparatus cases. This includes all associated works of pulling out the cable from underground, dressing of cable, making wiring tree etc. This includes soldering of armour tree/ring of cables and connecting to copper plate through GI wire bus bar in location boxes. The work shall be done as per location plans and instructions of Rly engineer at site.
Excavation and Fixing of earth electrode assembly including earth wire connected through GI wire 8 SWG supported on M.S.flat to earth electrode for signalling equipment .
Erection, Fitting and Rail connection of Track Lead Junction Box with contractor's fixing material and jacketed wire rope including 7mm single groove galvanized channel pin for track lead connection including two vertical angle of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm 1200 mm length. This will include 32 drilling of holes in rails for track lead connections as per instructions of Rly engineer at site.PVC jacketed galvanized steel wire ropes of 6mm dia (7 x 19 strands) sheathed with PVC of 2mm wall thickness and over all thickness of 10mm for connection between the TLJB and the rails are to be used and to be supplied by the contractor. PVC sheath should be made of type 6 compound as per IS 5831 of 1970. Double wire ropes are to be connected between each rail and TLJB.
Provision of bonding with contractor's materials including 7mm single groove 33 galvanized channel pin. This will include drilling of 7.2 mm dia holes in rails (4 Nos) and provision of two jumpers for each bond, clipping of bonds etc. with contractors own materials and tools as per instruction of Rly engineer at site.GI wires of 4mm dia (8 SWG) are to be used for jumpers across fish plates which should be supplied by the contractor free of cost.
Fixing of point machine on newly laid turnout on Wooden/MBC/Steel sleepers & fixing of ground connections. Adjustment and testing with crank handle operations. This will include fixing of bend pipes with welded frame for cable entry to machine. This will also includes necessary adjustment and smithy work, drilling of Holes to tongue rails, gauge plate & steel sleeper, fitting of insulation for 34 tongue attachment, gauge plate & William stretcher. This also includes cable entry to the point machine and termination of tail cable in point machine on ARA terminals and wiring of point machine (Necessary wiring modification for independent detection) using 2.5 sq mm insulated copper wire as per IS 696 of 1990 with suitable lugs. ARA terminals are to be suitably fixed on channels inside point machine . Supply & filling of SAE 30 lubricating oil (500ml approx). The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C. Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. ARA terminals will be supplied by Railway.
Removal of existing mechanical /Electrical motor point fittings and FPL assembly from points, fixing of point machine, ground connection, and adjustment and testing with crank handle for 35 operation. Removal of ground connection, point machine after testing (duly numbered) and refixing of mechanical point fittings. This includes supply of all fixing material, necessary fitting & adjustment to make the mechanically operated points functional again. (Ordinary Layout/Derail switch/Double slip/Single slip). The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C. Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Fixing/refixing of electric point machine, ground connections during phase working (NI / Pre NI), after removing the existing fittings if any, adjustment and testing with crank handle operation. This will include fixing of bend pipes with welded frame for cable entry to machine. This will also includes necessary adjustment and smithy work, drilling of Holes to tongue rails, gauge plate & steel sleeper, fitting of insulation for tongue attachment, gauge plate & William stretcher. This also includes cable entry to the point machine and termination of tail cable in point machine on ARA terminals and wiring of point machine (Necessary wiring modification for independent detection) using 2.5 sq mm insulated copper wire as per IS 696 of 1990 with suitable lugs. ARA terminals are to be suitably fixed on channels inside point machine . Supply & filling of SAE 30 lubricating oil (500ml approx). The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C. Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Excavation of trench as per cable route plan, 1.2 mtr deep, 300mm wide at the bottom along main line in normal soil, This work includes covering of cable laid in trenches by loose soil for a layer of 50 mm thickness approximately before covering by shahabad stone/bricks, clearing of route, 37 bushes etc and refilling of the trench by excavated soil and ramming after laying of the required quantity of cables as per instructions of Engineer at site. If it is not possible to reach the required depth at any location, then the contractor shall obtain prior approval of Engineer-in-charge before commencement of cable laying process and only then shall the proportionate payment be made to the contractor.
Excavation of trench as per cable route plan, 1 mtr deep, 300mm wide at the bottom along main line in hard soil / murum, This work includes covering of cable laid in trenches by loose soil for a layer of 50 mm thickness approximately before covering by Shahabad stone/bricks, clearing of 38 route, bushes etc and refilling of the trench by excavated soil and ramming after laying of the required quantity of cables as per instructions of Engineer at site. If it is not possible to reach the required depth at any location, then the contractor shall obtain prior approval of Engineer-in-charge before commencement of cable laying process and only then shall the proportionate payment be made to the contractor.
Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, stone bridges etc. and concreting the ends with brick masonry at both ends as per the instructions of Rly. Engineer at site with Contractor's 39 materials. The brick masonry at the ends shall be done with well-burnt bricks & cement mixture of 1:3 ratios. (Supply of GI pipes is not covered in this item). 3 perforation of 0.6mm dia per meter shall be made on the GI pipe as per the instructions of Engineer at site. This includes fixing with contractors own MS Chanel, clamps of proper size etc as per instructions of engineer at site.
Excavation of cable trench 1m deep and 300mm wide across the track, for track crossing and refilling after laying of DWC/RCC/GI pipes. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C. Rly & instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Cutting of all types of platforms, trenching & excavation to depth of 300 mm x 300mm 41 wide approx. and refilling after lying of GI pipes and repairing the platform to restore to original condition. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C.Rly and as per instructions of Rly. Engineer at site.
Cutting of all types of Roads preparatory to trenching & excavation to depth of 1 Mtr X 42 300 mm wide approximately and refilling, after laying of GI pipe and to restore the road to original condition. The work shall be done as per extant practice on W.C.Rly & instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Preparation of Cable way 150 mm wide at the bottom and 300 mm deep in rocky area 43 & refilling the same (after cable-laying in DWC pipe) with concrete mixture of proportion 1:3:6 and grouting the ends at either side of the rocky portion using concrete mixture with Contractor's own cement & other materials.
Supply & laying of well burnt bricks of size 225x100x75mm inside the trench (with the brick length being perpendicular to cable route) after laying of cable in station area from Outermost to 44 Outermost signal or at any other location as per instruction of Site Engineer. Note: - Size of bricks to be got approved by Site Engineer. In case brick size is in variance with the size given in the tender schedule then proportionate payment on volumetric basis shall be paid to contractor subject to a maximum limit of schedule rate.

Painting two coats of enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide primer on the following items after scrapping and cleaning of the surface wherever necessary. Primer and Paints both Asian paints / Berger / Shalimar are to be supplied by Contractor. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site and extant practice on W.C Rly on location boxes, signal posts, TLJB. This includes lettering/Numbering of signals, point machine, TLJB, Block joints, apparatus cases also Termination particulars, equipment names etc. legibly and neatly inside location boxes etc.

Releasing of Indoor & outdoor equipments,Lever frames, Relay rack,CTR old location boxes, signal posts, point machines, equipments inside the location boxes, Axle counter DP's lifting 51 barriers, rodding run, wire run, cranks, compensators, relays & relay racks, power instruments etc .as applicable including breaking of foundations etc. as per the instructions of Railway Engineer at site and theirtransportation to SSE in charge at the nominated depots with contractors own conveyance and expense.
Installation of maintenance free earth a) Digging/Auguring/Boring of single earth pit of 100mm to 125mm dia to the depth of approximate 2.8M b) Insertion of 3 Mtr electrode and penetrating it at least 0.2 Mtr. By pushing gently with sledge hammer where the neutral soil is assumed.c) Filling of earth pit with earth enhancement compound (EEC) in slurry form and back filling. d) Carrying out exothermic weld connection of single earth electrode to a copper tape of 150 x 52 25 x 6 mm e) Carrying out exothermal weld connection on the copper tape of 150 x 25 x 6 mm on earth electrode for connecting two 35 Sq.mm cable for redundancy f) The exothermal welding material for bonding the earth system shall be procured from RDSO approved firms which include graphite moulds, clamps, weld metal powder. g) 300 mm X 300 mm X 300 mm(inside dimension) concrete earth pit with a concrete lid approximately 50 mm thick with pulling hooks shall be provided to cover the pit. Back side of the cover will be painted in black and date of testing and average earth resistance value shall be written.

Installation, testing, wiring and commissioning of High Availability SSDAC by 54 OEM/authorised representative of OEM as per guidelines issued by RDSO, wiring discipline should be asper RDSO TAN No. STS/E/TAN/6001 version 1.0 or latest.The pre-commissioning checklist issued by OEM and jointly signed by OEM & Railway. Before commissioning of HASSDAC, OEM should submit site installation certificate.It also include programming of existing MSDAC if required.
All works pertaining to horizontal directional drilling (HDD)/boring and trenchless cabling. It includes supply , transportation and insertion of self lubricated HDPE pipe and laying of cable in boring under the track/road/ plateform/ circulating area by using different size of pipes 55 depending on the total number of cables will be crossed. The depth of horizontal boring should be minimum 1 meter upto 3.0 meter from rail flange/road level/ ground level as per direction of Engineer in-charge. This item will be used for track crossing of running line , road croosing and circulating area. (i) By using self lubricated HDPE pipe of 120mm outer dia and 103.5mm inner dia in the bore and laying of cable in the bore under the track/road/ circulating area.
Design and supply of detailed signalling circuits for station this includes design alteration and supply of detailed signalling circuits including panel diagram,route section plan, selection table,fuse & negative tag.Analysis,contact analysis, relay rack arrengement and wire count sheets etc.at both adjacent station in A3 size.Completion circuit shall be plotted in autocad.The contractor shall initially supply 2 sets of circuits duly signed by the circuit designer having substantial 56 experience on design side for making such circuits,complete for approval of railways. Railways will return one set of circuit to the contractor duly approved with alteration/corrections, if any.The contractor shall incorporate Railway's alterations/corrections in the original tracings & Pen Drive without any deviation and submit two coppies of the modified circuits.Original tracings so modified & final Pen Drive complete in all respects along with 4 sets of final approved circuits( out of which one set shall be supplied in transparent polythene cover).Relevant existing circuit diagram sheets of adjacent station for reference will be made available by the Railway's.

After commissioning contractor will submit 4 sets of final approved circuited (out of which one set shall be supplied in transparent polythene bags. Only two sheets of circuits shall be placed in one ploythene bag each) shall be submitted to the Railways in case there are no further alteration suggested by Railways. LC Gate = Per LC

Circuit wiring/jumpering as per circuit diagrams in the existing relay rack/IDF rack tag block for alteration work. This include preparation of jumper sheet by wireman duly checked by firm 63 site supervisor & wire to wire testing as per circuit diagram. Any wrong jumper done by wireman will not be paid by wireman & correction shall be made free of cost. Jumper wire shall be supplied by Railway. Details testing of wiring including continuity testing, functional testing, selection table, 64 locking table testing with simulation panel. This item include wiring of simulation panelas per standard practice. Erection & wiring of simulation panel shall be with contactor own material. Signal lamp required for simulation panel will be supplied by contactor. Contactor will arrange technical man power, wireman and supervisor to facilitate this testing by Railway.
Drilling of hole in existing main signal post,leading of cable through signal foundation/base for provision of main signal/shunt/calling on/route indicator.This involves running of GI wire through the cut(3'x2') maid in signal post,GI wire is to run from cut upto the foundation level.Pulling the required number of cables (with the help of GI wire) from the bottom of the 65 foundation through signal post and drawing out of the cuts made in the signal post making depth of size 75mm x 75mm in the concrete foundation of signal from the trench level to the centre of the top of the foundation.(Aprox 1.5m) The cables so pulled shall be housed in the duct and afterwards the duct to be concreted by cement mortar ratio of 1:3:6 and plastered to smooth surface. This work also includes termination of tail cable and wiring of complete signal. Work to be carried out as per instruction of site engineer.
