Cosmetic maintenance and other allied works in BARC Staff Colony Tarapur for the year 2026-2028.

a)Management of Municipal solid waste by daily collection of garbage / hosehold waste from all the residential flats department offices and Public buildings in BARC Colony in seperate containers for dry and wet garbage , in hygenic manner ; mechanized transportation of collected segreegated waste to the garbage disposal area with an average lead upto 1.5 km in covered trolley of sufficient big size having seperate compartments for biodegradable (wet ) and non bio degradable (dry ) with hydraulic aatchment for quick unloading ; disposal of waste transported from all the residential and public buildings in colony seperately as bio degradable and non biodegradable waste by safe disposal of the biodegradable waste in composting pits at designated area in BARC staff colony premises and disposal of non biodegradable salable waste as per details mentioned in specifications.The job also includes daily sweeping of staircases of all multistorey buldings with brooms colletion of waste and its safe disposal etc. complete and as per the specifications and directions of engineer In charge. b) Removal of dead animals / birds/ reptiles from the colony areas as and when required . Total Days in a year = 365.00 days, So for contract period -: 365 x2 = 730 days

Mechanized/ manual Cosmetic maintenance of offices by daily sweeping and mopping of floors of all rooms, passages, corridors ,halls staircase,dusting of office furniture etc. of all offices mentioned in Annexure I .The job also includes daily cleaning all water closets , urinals washbasins , mirrors located in wash room areas in office premises by using appropriate cleaning material , daily cleaning of walls and floors of the toilets , bathrooms /wash rooms ;cleaning of accumulated dust , cobwebs from walls , doors, windows ,ceilings etc once in fortnight ; cleaning of glass panes , windows glasses etc. once in a week ; including daily collection of dust, garbage etc. from each room & depositing them in dust bin or designated areas etc. complete and disposal of accumulated waste to designated places as per specifications and directions of Engineer - In - charge. Note: All cleaning material required for this item shall be supplied by the contractor .The detail of cleaning material is given in Annexure II Note : Cleaning material and equipment needed forthis work shall be provided by the contractor. A) Area for daily cleaning 355 m2 This area will be cleaned for 730 days in contract period So Quantity = 355.00 m2 x 365.00 x2 Day = 259150.00 m2 B) Area for sweeping on office days-: 4552 m2 So Quantity =4552.00 m2 x 596 days =2712992.00 m2 c ) Area to be cleaned twice in a week -: 2218.00 m2 This area is to be cleaned twice in a week So Quantity = 2218.00 m2 x 104 weeks x 2 operations = 461344.00 m2 Total Quantity =A + B +C = 259150.00 m2 + 2712992.00 m2 + 461344.00 m2 = 3433486.00 m2"

Mechanized /manual cleaning of approaches to all residential flats, buildings, department vehicle parking sheds in colony by sweeping area with hard broom ;cleaning of courtyard area of residential and public buildings ; removing of spider nets, Cob webs from all walls and ceiling of common areas of buildings like staircase walls/slabs; collections of waste generated;washing of staircase areas with clean water including all the tools and tackles & safety measures required to execute for this work and disposal of waste colleted at designated places etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in charge .Note: Frequency of operation is once in a week . Total area of approaches , Parking shed ,Staircase and courtyards of bunglow =9787.00 m2 + 25702.00 m2 + 13451.00 m2 + 650.00 m2 = 49590.00 m2 This area is to be cleaned once in a week So 52 operations in a year So for 2 years 104 operations So Quantity =49590.00 m2 x 104.00 operations =5157360.00 m2

Mechanized /manual Cleaning of plinth concrete areas of all buildings , open sanitary shafts, tops of Under ground water tanks in Pump house, by removal of waste materials, debris, unwanted vegetation and disposal of collected waste to designated place in colony by tsuitable means of transport including all the tools and tackles & safety measures required to execute for this work etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in charge . Note: Frequency of operation is Twice in a month Total area = 11681.00 +1561.00 +2380.00 = 15622 .00 m2 This area is to be cleaned twice in a month FOR 2 YEAR . So 48 operations during contract period .Quantity =15608.00 m2 x 48 operations = 749184.00 m2

Mechanical /manual cleaning of roads including paved footpath areas, road berms as per the schedule given in Annexure I by sweeping of roads ,footpaths , picking up all types of debris on roads, road berms, footpath area. The job also includes collecting the debris and the subsequent disposal of collected debris at designated places etc. complete as per specifications & as directed by Engineer - In - Charge. A)Quantity for 2 years = 46033 m2 x 52 weeks x 2 operations x 2year = 9574864.00 m2 --- (I) b) Quantity = 6780.00 m2 x 24 operations =162720.00 m2 ---- ---- (II) Total Quantity = 9574864.00 m2+162720.00 m2 = 9737584.00 sq . m.

Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all types of soil other than soft and hard rock, dressing the sides of foundation, ramming of bottom etc. including shoring and dewatering (if necessary) and refilling with selected excavated earth in layers of not more than 500 mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated including disposing the surplus earth within a distance of 200 m all as per specifications including clearing Jungle, uprooting of vegetation, grass, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge a) From 0.00 to 1.50 m depth from Average Ground Level

Cleaning of approaches of building by applying bleaching powder or equivalent material to remove algae , after application of bleaching powder rubbing the surface by using hard broom wire brush etc . Complete as per specifications and directions of engineer in charge .Note : Bleaching powder shall be provided by contractor. This area is to be cleaned 5 times in contract period so 8693.00 m2 x 5 operations =43465.00 m2

Maintenance of open drains by removal of deposits, silt, boulders, derbis and other waste materials from storm water drains. The job also includes placing the fallen pitching stones in position removing wild grass, throny bushes etc. & disposing off waste generated from drain cleaning at designated places etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer - In - Charge. Quantity = (Total area ) x ( No . Of Operations in contract period ) So quantity 6870.00 RM X 6.00 operatons = 41220.00 RM

Cleaning of paved, unpaved footpaths, road berms by cutting of overgrown grass, thorny wild bushes, cleaning of any other debris etc. including disposal of cut grass, thorny wild bushes debris etc to a lead of 2.0 km etc. complete as per directions of engineer in charge . Total area of road berms footpath =14487.00 m2 .This has to be cleaned for 6 times during contract period . Quantity = (Total area ) x ( No . Of Operations in contract period ) So Quantity = 14487.00 m2 x 6 operations = 86922 m2

Cleaning of open terrace area,rooftop of parking sheds , sunshades and Chajjas of of all buildings by sweeping the areas with hard broom for removing refuse, garbage, dust , leaves , wall clinging plants along with their roots etc. and other waste /debris of any type etc.complete . The job includes cleaning the outlets / inlets of rain water pipe in the walls/floors of terrace , shifting of debris/waste material collected from terraces by mechnical /manual means at designated places as per the specifications and directions of Engineer in charge . a) Total area of terraces =48349.00 m2 b)Total area of parking shed roof top available for cleaning =11377.00m2 c) Total Area of Sunshades Chajja =10666.00 m2 So Total area = 48349 + 11377 + 10666= 70392 m2. THis area is to be cleaned for 6 times in contract period So Quantity = 70392 x 6 = 422352 sq .m.
