BLINDING AND DE-BLINDING

The job includes collection & transportation of required quantity of materials like blinds, gaskets, fasteners, etc., from owner's storage point, loosening & tightening of studs (cold / gas cutting if required), wedge opening, cleaning of flanges, insertions and removal of blind & gaskets, providing new gaskets after removal of blinds, overhauling of fasteners using oil, replacing the defective studs / nuts to ensure zero leak of joints including hot bolting.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects, transportation of unused materials to owner's storage point and dumping the generated scrap material to designated area as per EIC instructions. Note: Blind Plate Material shall be arranged by Contractor.

SUPPLY, ERECTION & DISMANTLING OF STEEL SCAFFOLDING.

Job involves Supply, erection of scaffolding at the required locations using 1-1/2 inch dia steel tubular pipes with suitable clamping arrangement, providing steel gratings at the required locations firmly tied on to the scaffolding pipes, removal of the steel gratings & scaffolding materials on completion of the job.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects, collection & transportation of steel scaffolding materials & steel gratings.

CARBON STEEL PIPING WORK-ABOVE GROUND

The job includes transporation of all free issue materials from owner's storage point to work site, handling at site, cutting, bevelling, fabrication, laying, welding & erection of carbon steel piping at all locations above ground level, overhead, over sleepers, piperacks, crossovers, pipe sleeves, trenches, stand posts, connecting with equipments & nozzles, providing tappings from the existing pipelines at all grades & elevations including under road culverts.

The piping job includes all modification and replacement jobs involving pipes & all types of fittings like elbows / tees / reducers / half coupling / full coupling, etc., all types of flanges like slip on / raised face, etc., all types of inline instruments like rotameter / pressure gauges / thermowells, etc., valves, expansion joints, steam traps, orifice assemblies, strainers, vents, drains, funnels, etc., of different schedules, pressure ratings and for various temperature applications.

The piping job includes providing shoe supports, corrosion wear pads at all support locations (2" and higher), reinforcement pads, etc., wherever required.

The job includes flushing, preparing work area for executing hot work, bending to suit the contours wherever required, socket, fillet, butt welding using E 6010 / E 6013 / E 7018 electrodes / ER 70S2 filler wire as required, Post weld heat treatment (PWHT - stress relieving) after welding wherever required, DPT wherever required, hydraulic / pneumatic test as per codes, specification, drawings and draining of water & drying with compressor air after hydrotest.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects, returning back the unused materials to owner's storage point and dumping the generated scrap material to the designated area as per EIC instructions.

The rates for the following items shall be exclusive of blinding & deblinding, radiography, stress relieving, reinforcement pad welding, removal of old piping for replacement.

The rates for the following items shall be inclusive of fabrication, laying, erection, welding, providing shoe supports, wear pads at support locations, Supply and erection of scaffolding, dismanlting and removal of scaffolding after completion of job, flushing of the new piping system, offering stagewise inspection, hydrotesting and draining / drying of the piping system.

Note: If Hydrotesting is avoided as per instructions of EIC, 90% of unit price only will be paid.

NOTES

(1) Thickness of piping for measurement shall be based on the relevant ANSI or equivalent standards

(2) The finished weld joint elevation at site shall be taken as reference for measurement, wherever applicable.

(3) The rates for socket & fillet welding in piping shall remain same for all thickness and elevations as per SOR.

(4) Rate for weld joints of vents & drains shall be paid on actual measurement using the applicable SOR.

(5) Fabrication & welding of pipe shoe supports & wear pad at support locations are included in unti price .

(6) For blinding & deblinding wherever involved, rates shall be paid separately .

(7) For stress relieving of weld joints, rates shall be paid separately

(8) In case of replacement of existing piping, rates for removal of old pipelines shall be paid separately

(9) During hydrotesting of the above piping jobs, some portions of the existing piping in the circuit required to be hydrotested depending on the blinding and the same shall be paid separately.

(10) For steam tracing piping work, hydraulic testing of piping is required. For bending tracer pipelines, the rates shall be paid separately

(11) Hydraulic testing shall be done only once for testing underground and sleeve pipes before wrapping & coating. .

(12) Radiography of weld joints is not included in SOR and same shall be paid separately.

(13) wherever different thickness segments are being welded, 75% of higher thickness and 25% of lower thickess unit rate shall be considered for payment.

(14) Wherever dissimilar weldign is considered, higher metallurgy welding rate shall be considered.

The job includes transporation of all free issue materials from owner's storage point to work site, handling at site, cutting, bevelling, fabrication, laying, welding & erection of carbon steel piping including sleeve pipes below ground level, trenches at all depths, stand posts, anchoring of all underground pipelines for conection with equipments & nozzles.

The piping job includes all modification and replacement jobs involving pipes & all types of fittings like elbows / tees / reducers / half coupling / full coupling, etc., all types of flanges like slip on / raised face, etc., valves, steam traps, orifice assemblies, strainers, vents, drains, funnels, etc., of different schedules, pressure ratings and for various temperature applications

The piping job includes fabrication & erection of pipe sleeves, providing shoe supports, pads at support locations, reinforcement pads, etc., wherever required.

The job includes flushing, preparing work area for executing hot work, bending to suit the contours wherever required, socket, fillet, butt welding using E 6010 / E 6013 / E 7018 electrodes as required, DPT wherever required, ,hydraulic / pneumatic test twice (on completion of fabrication & on completion of laying at site) as per codes, specification, drawings and draining of water & drying with compressor air after hydrotest.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects, returning back the unused materials to owner's storage point and dumping the generated scrap material to designated area as per EIC instructions.

EXCLUSIONS: The rates for the following items shall be exclusive of concrete / PCC breaking, earth work removal, blinding & deblinding, radiography, stress relieving, reinforcement pad welding, earth back filling, removal of old piping for replacement.

INCLUSIONS: The rates for the following items shall be inclusive of fabrication, laying, erection, welding, flushing of the piping system, offering stagewise inspection, hydrotesting and draining / drying of the piping system and Coating & Wrapping/Tape coating, guide or slide supports welding between main pipe and sleeve pipe, pads and shoes wherever required.Contractor shall carryout tape coating as per specification 6-79-0011 and offer for inspection and testing at every stage.

The insulation materials to be removed from the pipes and transported to their respective designated locations as per EIC

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, dumping the generated scrap material to the designated area, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects.

RADIOGRAPHY

The job includes performing radiography examination of welds on all piping & all type of equipments as per relevant ASME / ASTM standards & as per CPCL specification CPCL-INSP-RAD-01 at all grades & elevations with film width not less than 4 inches.

The job also includes supplying of radiation source camera, other machineries required, all consumables required for filming & developing, transportation of camera, etc., area preparation before starting the job, labour, supervision to complete the job in all respects including preparation of developing chemicals, developing the films & submission of films for inspection review.

STRESS RELIEVING

The job involves Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT)/Stress relievng of carbon steel/alloysteel metal surfaces, weld seams or HAZ, etc., shop fabricated or site fabricated or existing piping/static equipment at all grades & elevations.

This job also includes cleaning the adjoining surfaces, welding of required thermocouples, insulating the portion using super fine glass wool/asbestos tape, heating the metal surface using a induction heating equipment as per the requirment, sepcfications, ensuring uniform temperature attainment at all points, recording the temperatures by means of thermocouples/pyrometer/automatic temperature recorders suitably calibrated, removal of insualation, providing assistance for hardness testing, submitting recorded charts for approval, removal & dressing of thermocouple leads, etc., as per isntructions of EIC.

This job also includes supplying of all types of tools, tacjles, machineries, all consumables, labour & supervision to complete the job in all repsects including transportation of all the required materials to the work site.

Note: This job also includes Hardness testing and submission of hardness testing reports to EIC and inspeciton personnel. On failure of Hardness criteria, Re- Stress Relieving shall be carried out at no additional cost.

Note: (1) for Pipe weld joints, nominal diameter of pipe shall be considered for measurement.

SUPPLY, FABRICATION AND ERECTION OF STRUCTURALS:

STRUCTURALS SUPPLY AND FABRICATION (From Materials supplied by CONTRACTOR) :- Supply, Fabrication, erection(at all elevations) of pipe supports like shoes, cradles, hangers, clamps/Anchors(of all sizes/thicknesses manufactured by forming method using die), turn buckles, saddles, guides, special supports, pads, T post etc. of all types including supply and application one coat of primer, all necessary equipments, consumables, labour, returning surplus materials and scrap etc to owners storage points and completing work as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Modifications/rectifications, if required; and adjustment/ alignment during precommisioning, commisioning as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Pipe shoes for all lines are included in this clause. Supply and Erection of Anchor Fasteners are included in Contractor's Scope.

INCLUSIVE OF STRUCTURALand PIPE SUPPORT PAINTING : Supplying and applying all paints including storage, surface preparation, degreasing, cleaning, drying, touching up of shop primer coat, providing temporary staging, scaffolding, testing etc., for steel strucres at all levels and locations, all complete as speficied. (As per EIL spec 6-44-0004 Rev -2, Table 10.0 SNo. 10.2)

C.S STRUCTURAL STEEL (CS)

PIPELINES HYDROTESTING

Pipe lines Hydrotesting- beyond 10 Mtr. Length

The job involves hydrotesting of pipelines to the specified test pressure at all elevations by providing necessary hose connections from the source of water supply to the work location for preparing the test, flushing, filling up water on the piping circuit, vent entrapped air, pressurize to the required hydro test pressure with necessary test pumps, and offer for inspection including access & assistance to CPCL Inspection team during the checking, draining & drying of the piping circuit.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, suitable test pumps, pressure gauges, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects.

(1) For blinding & deblinding wherever involved, rates shall be paid separately as per SOR Sl. Nos.1.2

This clause is not applicable for hydrotesting of new piping. Same is included in welding.

WATER FLUSHING, AIR BLOWING, STEAM BLOWING WITH SUPPLY OF FW HOSES, STEAM HOSES, WATER HOSES etc.

Rates are inclusive of labour and supply of tools and tackles for Water flushing and air blowing of various hydrocarbon and other pipe lines as directed by EIC, Contractor shall supply Fire water hoses, steam hoses, water hoses etc.along with chicago couplings and similar fittings required to connect the hoses for successful completion of the work. Any required valves, pipes etc for this work will be provided by CPCL free of cost.

This job includes supplying of all necessary tools, tackles, other water flushing accessories, air blwoing accessoreis, air blower (or) compresso for carrying out air blowing, steam hoses and accessories for steamblwoing and carrying out above activites as per insrucitons of EIC and insepciton perosnnel. Steam and water shall be provided by CPCL. Air shall be provided in near by plant and in offsite area, contractor shall use Air blowers. compressors.

PAINTING (OFFSITES):-

PAINTING (OFFSITES):-Supply of paints and primers, preapration of surfaces and application of primer and finish paints, identificaiton (Line Numbering), lettering, colour bands, colour coding etc., as specified including rubdown and touch up of shop primer wherver required, providing scaffolding for all heights, lanour , material, tools and tackles, consumables supervision, etc., to complete the work in all respects as per EIL specificaiton 6-44-0004, drawings and direcitons of ENgineer-in CHarge for all types of uninsulated piping, fittings, flanges, supports, vavles, etc., Surface preparation by Metal grit blast cleaning and applicaiton is specified, in such cases finish paints shall also be applied in the fabrication yard. The identification marks of the piping and joints shall be moted before blasting and the same shall be transferred in primed surface with polyurethene paints (F2) or as per the instruciton of Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- All joints (fabrication as well as erection joints) shall be left unpainted till Hydrotesting. No extra payment shall be made for identification (line numbering etc.,) Any repair of primer prior to application of balance coating shall be included in offered price. No separate price shall be paid for repair of primer paint.

Earth work excavation & back filling

The job involves earth work excavation below ground level upto 2 metres depth & to a required width for laying underground piping in all types of soils including removal of vegetation, if required, dressing of sides, levelling, grading, ramming of bottom, back filling on completion of laying of pipes with available excavated soil, watering, rolling, ramming of by manual methods / mechanical compactors, dressing, trimming, etc.

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects as per EIC instructions.

Road cutting

The job involves breaking of Bituminous road including bituminous carpet, WBM, metal base, etc. and removal of debris upto a lead of 3 km as per instruction of Engineer in charge

The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects as per EIC instructions.

The job involves provision and installation of "Shoring and strutting" in excavations upto 2 metres depth, dismantling and removal after completion of work as per instruction of Engineer in charge

Concrete dismantling (PLAIN and REINFORCED)

The job involves dismantling of reinforced cement concrete pavements including cutting of reinforcement bars, returning of scrap steels to designated area, breaking the RCC work into pieces and disposal of unserviceable material upto 3.0km lead as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge.

Concrete WORKS for Relaying of Dismanlted Road and Pavements

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:4:8 by volume (1 cement:4 Sand:8 Crushed aggregate) with OPC 53 grade and 40mm & down size graded crushed stone aggegates for all depths wherever required like in foundations, fillings, floors, pavements, roads, ramps or any other works as required by EIC etc., including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, curing etc., all as specified in any shape, position,thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth as specified and directed all complete for concrete of normal mix 1:4:8, including cement cost etc., all complete as directed by EIC.

Providing and laying of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) 1:1.5:3 by volume (1 cemet:1.5 Sand:3 aggregate) with OPC 53 grade and 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregate materials for all requirements like pavements, roads, pedestals etc., including machine mixing, curing, consolidating with vibrator, cement cost etc., all complete as per instrucitons of EIC excluding cost of shuttering and reinforcement

Providing fixing Formwork including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping in sub/super structure at all heights wherever required including removal of the shuttering after specified period is over and as directed by the EIC complete with all materials, labour, consumables etc., (Form work shall be supplied by COntractor and shall remain the property of Contractor)

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position High strength deformed Steel Bar Reinforcement (Confirming to IS 1786 Grade Fe500) fro RCC works, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, blinding with Contractor's own 16 Standard wire Gauge (SWG) black soft annealed binding wire at every intersection, supplying and placing wiht proper cover blocks, supports, overlaps, welding spacers, lifting hooks etc., for all heights & depths etc., removing of scraps from site, all complete works as per instructions of EIC.

Dewatering - with Contractor's own pump

The job involves pumping out of water including dewatering oily water mixed with muck / sludge etc. from trenches, pits etc. by contractor's own pump as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

The job also includes supplying of all types of pumps, tools & tackles, hoses, fuel, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects as per EIC instructions.

Hire charges for 5 HP Diesel driven dewatering pump with all accessories including hoses along with one operator - For 8 Hrs

Running charges for 5 HP Diesel driven dewatering pump

(1) Running charges are applicable for the actual running hours of the pump and also if the fuel is supplied by the Contractor. If fuel is supplied by CPCL only 40% of quoted price shall be paid for Running charges.

Providing pre-commissioning assistance to Owner of Skilled / Semiskilled workers as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge with hand tool and tackles (Excluding Consumables).

SEMI-SKILLED During General Shift hours (from 0730 hrs to 1600 hrs ) on Monday to Saturday, except on Sundays and Company declared holidays with 30 minutes for Lunch (Provided by Contractor) Break
