Chair Revolving for Computer (Drg No : FD/E6/MAP/01 & TP)

Supply and fixing in replacement of unserviceable tapestry cloth of seat and back of chair revolving and stiching with new tapestry cloth (Cotton linen/ jute/ cotton velvet) not less than 200/- per metre of shade as approved by GE and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE: The stiching shall be carried out at Furniture Yard and at the site of furniture as required and as directed by Engineer in charge)

Supply and fix in replacement of unserviceable hydraulic system of Chair revolving.

Supply and fix in replacement of unserviceable base Steel/PVC (plastic) with wheels of chair revolving for computer.

Supply and fix in replacement of unserviceable PVC arms of chair revolving. Supply and fixing of new arms and tightening with nuts and bolts as required complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for welding to frame of chair writing including preparation of surface and removing the unwanted welding spot, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting to frame of chair writing with black synthetic enamel paint including preparation of surface, complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: The painting shall be carried out at Furniture Yard and at the site of furniture as required and as directed by Engr-in-charge)

Polishing of wooden furniture:- Material and labour for: 1) Cleaning and dusting of following furniture articles by removing of unwanted settled dirt from every exposed wooden surface with a clean rag or wax remover if required. 2) Sanding the surface with rough sand paper. 3) Filling the cracks and gaps with putty and staining of wood surface with Raw siena/burnt siena to match the wood colour and re-rubbing with fine sand paper to make the surface smooth. 4) Polishing with French Spirit Polish to be applied with soft Malmal cloth/ soft brush. 5) Finally applying the sealer to give a glossy finish all as directed and specified by Engineer-in-charge :- (NOTE: The polishing shall be carried out at Furniture Yard and at the site of furniture as required and as directed by Engineer in charge)

Material and labour for removing top of table and fixing new top made out of 18/19mm thick commercial MDF board laminated on both side with 1 mm thick sunmica sheet of shade as approved by GE. The edges of the table shall be made 36 to 40mm thick by fixing a 50mm wide MDF batten under the edges all along. Vacuum rubber or SS screw shall also be provided by the contractor wherever required or as directed by Enegr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing of broken or unserviceable wooden batten of the top of centre table with new Teak Wood batten of section 65mmx 25mm. The outer edge of the batten shall be slightly chamfered. The inner edge of the batten shall be chiselled 8 to 10 mm deep to support the glass top. The approximate length of the long side batten shall be 1200mm and that of the short side batten shall be 600mm.

Material and labour for replacement of MS part of the table frame with new MS conduit pipe of size 25x25mm and 1.6mm thickness duly welded to the frame at placecs as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The welded joints shall be grinded to produce smooth surface. The complete MS frame shall be spray painted in Black enamel paint in Matte finish.

Material and labour for removing of old unserviceable MS drawer box of the office table and replacing with new drawer box screwed to the table frame. The sides and back of new drawer box shall be made of both side Prelaminated particle Board 18mm thick of Make: Action tesa/ Kitply/Greenlam. The front and sides of the drawer shall be made of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board of approved make as mentioned here-in-before. The base of the drawer box shall be The back and base of each drawer shall be made of 12mm thick commercial plywood. Shutters made of 18mm pre laminated particle board both side for cupboard below the drawers shall be provided as per existing design. All open edges of particle board and plywood shall be covered with 1mm thick PVC edge banding to be fixed with strong adhesive like Edgelock probond glue. The drawers shall run on soft closing telescopic channels. The knob of drawer shall be counsil/ recessed handle 100mm made of MS powder coated in black as directed by Engr-in chage.
