Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 25 X 4 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.1 of contract, IN REPAIRS. NOTE: (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500 mm away from earth pit.

Taking shutdown from MES, disconnecting all electric connections and opening of LT panel of any description for repair etc., reassembling of the same after all necessary repair, refixing, replacement of unserviceable components, reconnecting, commisioning and testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Supply only spares/components will be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BoQ.

Cutting out existing worn out/ damaged CRCA sheet of LT panel board and providing new CRCA sheet of thickness not less than 3 mm including necessary welding, sheet metal repair work and applying a coat of anti corrosive primer after preparation of surfaces complete.

Making LT panel doors operateable to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge by providing new hinges of existing size & pattern including necessary welding, sheet metal repair work and applying a coat of anti corrosive primer after preparation of surfaces and filling the undulation with ready made putty for MS/steel surfaces, complete.

Two coats of synthetic enamel paint applying a coat of anti corrosive primer after preparation of surfaces with spray gun including preparation of surfaces and filling the undulation with ready made putty for MS/steel surfaces and a coat of red oxide primer complete.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM 10 TO 11: Repair work & painting to LT panel shall be carried out after taking necessary power shutdown from MES

NOTE: (i) To maintain utmost security at AF Station, contractor will arrange his workmen along with T&P in a manner that nonfunctional Fault of LT line & panel is made functional swiftly within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES, during entire contract period. (ii) Not withstanding with the provision of "Compensation for Delay' envisaged under condition 50 of IAFW-2249, General Conditions of Contracts, additional compensation @ Rs. 500/- day will be charged from contractor in case he fails to make the LT line & panel functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES regarding non working LT line & Panel.
