WBKP/CP/NIT-22/ Replacement of 08 (eight) nos. overhead GI Tank with allied work at Hare Street PS Building, Barrack and Residential Quarters / TEN, Dated- 30.01.2026

Replacement of 08 (eight) nos. overheaded GI tank with allied work at Hare Street P.S. Building, Barrack & Residential Quarters, Kolkata, during the year 2025-2026.

Dismantling G.I. tank including disconnecting pipe connection.

Lowering G.I. tank (upto and including 1812 litre capacity). (a) 3rd floor to G.L.

Supplying G.I. tank with Galvanised iron sheet with 450 mm dia C.I. raised approved type locking cover and 50 mm cleaning flange and plug. (a) With 2 mm thick G.I. sheet (i) 1812 litre capacity

Repairing damaged G.I. tank of any capacity after lowering on roof by replacing with new 2 mm thick G.I. sheet by rivetting with necessary packing, painting new portions, refixing the existing C.I. tank cover by rivetting in new position, if necessary, after taking out old cover very carefully etc. complete (excluding the cost of dismantling and refixing tank but including the cost of cutting out worn out portion by suitable means to regular shape). (Payment will be made on the basis of area of damaged portion replaced.)

Supply of long screw (150 mm long) of TATA make with sockets (TATA make) and jamnut. (vi) 50 mm

Labour for fitting and fixing G.I. specials including cost of jointing materials. (d) Cross, Union, Long screw. (ii) Above 25 mm upto 50 mm dia.

Hoisting G.I. tank (upto and including 1812 litre capacity). (a) from G.L. to third floor

Supplying, fitting and fixing gunmetal wheel valve of approved brand and make tested to 21 kg per sq. cm. (for water lines only). (iv) 50 mm dia

Supplying, fitting and fixing G.I. pipes of TATA makewith all necessary accessories,specials viz. socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbo, nipple, longscrew, reducing socket, reducing tee, short piece etc. fitted with holder bats clamps, including cutting pipes, making threads, fitting, fixing etc. complete in all respect including cost of all necessary fittings as required,jointing materials and two coats of painting with approved paint in any position above ground. (Payment will be made on the centre line measurements of total pipe line including all specials. No separate payment will be made for accesories, specials. Payment for painting will be made seperately) (A) For Exposed Work (f)(ii) 50 mm dia. medium quality

Painting with ready mixed red lead paint of approved make and brand : (a) One coat

(A) Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (b) On steel or other metal surface :With super gloss (hi-gloss) - (ii) Two coats (white in shade)
