M&L for Cleaning of 3 lakh gallons capacity overhead reservoir (consisting of one inner tank of 4.02 Mtr dia and one outer tank of 9.75 Mtr dia of depth 9.63 Mtr) at a height of 35 Mtr from the ground (Approx), and through 6 stages of cleaning and sterilization consisting of the following stages complete all as specified & directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Location : Power House OHT Cleaning through Agencies:- RAYS CLEANTECH/ INUS WATERTECH/ MS TANK CLEANING

(a). First Stage :- Mechanised Dewatering, This first stage consists of emptying water from the tank. A submersible pump is used to drain the tank of excess of water. Removal of water and semi sludge with the help of sludge pump (electric/hydraulic)

(b). Second stage :- Sludge Removal, A sophisticated suction process is used to drain the excess sludge out of tank at a safe place away from tank. Removal of mud, sand and solid particles up to 4 inch size with the hydraulic sludge pump.

(c). Third storage :- High Pressure Cleaning, The tank is then cleaned using high pressure jet machine. The rotary jet is used to clean walls and ceilings, whereas plain jet is used to clean the corners of the tank. The rotary jet acts as scrubber and can clean the most stubborn depositions. Cleaning of floor, walls and ceiling with the help of German made high pressure rotary jet pump having pressure range between 80-180 bars.

(d). Fourth stage :- Vacuum Cleaning, The additional sludge and impurities are then removed by using a industrial vacuum cleaner and are again disposed at a safer place away from the water tank. An industrial vacuum pump is then used to clean the leftover physical impurity from the floor.

(e). Fifth stage :- Antibacterial Spray, after above steps of cleaning, the tank is treated with an antibacterial spray (sodium hypochlorite) on the surface of the wall of the tank to make it completely bacteria free and safe for use. Our use of chemical is just to disinfect the germs and bacteria on the walls and ceiling only.

(f) . Sixth stage - UV Radiation, the water storage tank is then treated with ultra-violet (UV) radiator to make it bacteria free and safe for storing your drinking water. A specially developed UV radiator is used to kill suspended or floating bacteria remaining in the tank.

Note : (i) All T&P, PPE Kit, Transport shall be born by the contractor without any extra cost. (ii) Date of cleaning of tank should be written on the outer surface of tank in white letter over black background complete as directed.

Note for item No 1 to 11: - After cleaning, the date of cleaning is required to be written, with size of letters / numbers as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in white colour paint with a black paint background.

Preparing the surface by removing the spalled and loose plaster from existing surface and making it sound and clean by removing all dust particle and washing the surface with jet water. Then allowing the surface to dry and check for any cracks, honeycombing and other foreign particle complete as directed.

Supplying, providing, mixing and laying over the prepared surface with cement mortar of average 15 mm thick or as per requirements in proportion 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 Sand) mixed with bonding agent, Nitoband SBR laded @ 5 litre per 50 Kgs of cement and integral waterproofing admixture complast WL of Fosroc Chemicals @ 125 ml per 50 Kg of cement complete all as specified and directed

M&L cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel section including nut, bolts, washers, welding, bending, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium/Black paint complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L Stripping off existing starter panel and replace defective power contactor 3 pole, 415 Volt AC 3 phase type ML-3 with new copper lugs of suitable size and re-assembling of the panel including rectification of fault and safety device, adjustment of time etc complete as directed .
