Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 400 Kva/320 KW, silent DG set 490 BHP rating Diesel Generating Set of approved make with standard AMF panel and with sound proof enclosure and comprising of the following components (as above). The specifications of generating set should strictly complete as per guidlines issued by the Govt. of India under CPCB-IV plus guidlines, complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. NOTE : including the cost of testing DG set for 3 hours at full load)
Diesel Engine:
Engine liquid cooled 8 cylinders, 15.92 liters, 4 stroke cycles, developing 490BHP @ 1500 rpm as per ISO 8528-I. The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangement and shall give the electrical output of 400 KVA at 0.8 power factor, 415V at the alternator terminal, other accessories of the engine would be as under. The specifications of Engine should strictly complete as per guidlines issued by the Govt. of India under CPCB-IV plus guidlines.

ALTERNATOR
As per guidelines issued by Govt. of India under CPCB-IV (at our option), synchronous alternator of 400 KVA rating suitable for operation at 1500 rpm generating 415V at 0.8 power factor (lag) 50 Hz, 3 phase and 4 wire system. The alternator shall be Brush-less type, separately excited & self-regulated through an AVR. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and generally confirm to BS:2613/IS:4722 & have folloing features.
Plus 1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions
IP 23 protection with class 'H' insulation and temperature rise limited to class 'H' insulation limits.
Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation.

ACCESSORIES
Base frame : Engine and alternator are mounted, coupled and aligned on a common channel iron fabricated Base Frame with pre-drilled holes.
Fuel Tank : Daily service fuel tank 850 liters manufactured with 14SWG sheet metal complete with drain valve, air vent, inlet and outlet connection. The fuel tanks shall be suitable for floor mounting installation outside the acoustic enclosure.
Batteries : Two number batteries of 12V rated capacity 150 AH with its leads.
ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE
Slient DG set enclosure is of modular construction with the provision to assemble & dismantle easily as per site condition.
Centre lifting arrangement for ease of lifting from single point.
There are no protruding parts
The sheet metal components are pretreated before powder coating
The enclosure is fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 16 gauge.
The fuel level is indicated with the help of fuel gauge meter.
400 KVA WITH STD CONTROL PANEL
Battery is accommodated in a separate tray in the enclosure.
The doors are gasketed with high quality EPDM gaskets to avoid leakage of sound.
The door handles are lockable type
Sound proofing of enclosure is done by PU Foam/Rockwool of suitable thickness density as per IS 8183.
A special residentail silencer is provided with the enclsoure to control exhaust noise.
Speically designed attenuators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exist from the container.
To make system vibration free, engine & alternator is mounted on specially designed anti-vibration pads.
Adequate ventilation is provided to meet air requirement for combustion head removal
Temperature of enclosure does not exceed beyond 5 to 7 degrees of ambient temperature.
Noise level is 75 db (A) at 1-metre distance. The enclosure meets the norms as specified by CPCB-IV.
Supply & erection of XLPE/PVC insulated PVC sheathed (10 core) unarmoured copper conductor cable (ISI marked) confirm to IS:7098 (PART-I), 1988 loose in the existing trench or pipe with suitable size of copper thimbles/lugs complete in all respec as desired by Engineer in charge.
Overall size 1.5 sq.mm (10 core)
Supply, laying and erection of aluminium conductor XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured and served cable 1100 volts grade as per IS 7098 (Part-1) 1988 to be laid loose in the existing trench or pipe as per PWD General Specifications:
Overall size 400 sq.mm (3.5 core) un-armoured (on surface)
Earthing with electrolytic copper tape rivetted (with 5 nos copper rivets) Steel Nuts & Bolts (with 4 Nos 32mm long, 8mm thick with washer and double nut) to 30cm x 120cm x 2mm thick copper plate (made cylindrical) burried 4.5 metre (14.76 feet) below ground level in the hole of excavation having bore dia125mm and surrounded by salt and charcoal dust mixture (20 kg) including fixing the copper tape recessed in wall and in floor et upto 8 metre in length (including bore length) GI pipe 20mm dia. (A-class), 3 metre long should be laid in the hole of excavation 1 feet below ground level and having GI Reducer 50mm x 20mm with PVC Cap (For pouring water) fixed on the top level of the pipe. 300mmx300mmx300mm deep haudi of First class bricks finished with 1:4 cement plaster and haudi covered with cast iron lid having size 300mmx300mm (heavy) around the hold of excavation.
Earthing with 25mm x 3mm copper tape (upto 8 metre in length)
Providing and Fixing 25mm x 5mm GI strip (on surface/flushed) with petty material as required etc.
Construction of PCC plate form size 20'x7' and 1 feet height having 13.5' brick wall in 1.5 filled within CC 1:4:8, 12.5mm plaster 1.5, 4.5" slab RCC M20 including the cost of foundation required for the installation of 400 KVA DG set as per the designed given by the manufactures finally approved by Engineer in charge including cost of petty materials required to complete the job in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
