M&L for water proofing treatment on RCC roof etc. comprising with the following operation and as specified herein below and as directed:- (a) Taking down existing old tarfelt, bituminous compound including plaster etc, cleaning & removing debris to a distance exceeding 100m & not exceeding 250m. (b) 15 mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 finished even & smooth. (c) Preparing & cleaning of fully dried cement plastered surface. (d) Applying one coat of cold bituminous primer to the plastered surface @ 0.25 liters per sqm conforming to IS-3384 (e) A layer of APP based polymeric membrane membrane 3mm thick (minimum) weighing 3.5 kg per sqm reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weighing not less than 160 gms/sqm )shall be applied over bituminous primer as specified above. Application of polymeric membrane shall be by torch application. The over lap shall be minimum 100 mm on transverse direction and 75 mm in longitudinal direction. (f) One coat of aluminium paint over the APP based membrane @ 0.11 Kg/Sqm
