CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MARRIED ACCOMODATION AGAINST DEMOLISHED SMQS AT AF STN CHANDIGARH

Preperation and submission of site plan (layout plan), detailed architectural drawings i.e plans, sections, elevations, required enlarged details, internal electrification drawings, internal public health drawings, joinery details, flooring & finishes details, boundary wall, gate, scooter shed, etc, to this dept for scrutiny.The consutant shall submit conceptual report by providing four options of typical plan drawings of dwelling units and layout plan prior to submission to UT authorities. Subsequently the drawings shall be got approved from the UT Administration and duly vetted from IIT/NIT duly signed by authorised signatory on behalf of the institute and not from a professor/individual of the institute in his personal capacity. The process of approval from the UT authorities shall be as follows:-

(a) Certificate of demarcation of plots shall be obtained from SDO office (survey sub divn) after carrying out the demarcation of plots of subject work services as desired by SDO UT Chandigarh.

(b) After demarcation of plot, the drgs shall be again submitted to SDO bldg estate office UT Chandigarh for getting approval/sanction of drawings

(c) The drawings shall be sent further for approval from Chief architect office, Sector-9, Chandigarh

(d) After approval from architectural department, the drawings shall be sent to town planning officer for further approval which shall be returned to SDO bldg once they are finalised by all the concerned offices/departments

(e) Also as per the revised norms of UT Chandigarh, necessary certifcation is required to be taken from station fire officer and pollution control officer before finalisation of drgs by the estate office, UT Chandigarh.

The No of Blocks are as follows:- (a) 57 MWOs qtrs in Sec 31-D :- 01 block (5857.89 Sqm) (b) 5 OR/NCOs qtrs in Sec 31-D :- 01 block (375.35 Sqm)

Preperation and submission of self sufficient structural drawings & drawings including structural details, to this dept for scrutiny prior to submission to UT authorities. Subsequently the drawings shall be got approved from the UT Administration and duly vetted from IIT/NIT duly signed by authorised signatory on behalf of the institute and not from a professor/individual of the institute in his personal capacity. The process of approval from UT shall be same as mentioned in item No 01 hereinbefore :- The No of Blocks are as follows:- (a) 57 MWOs qtrs in Sec 31-D :- 01 block (5857.89 Sqm) (b) 5 OR/NCOs qtrs in Sec 31-D :- 01 block (375.35 Sqm)

(i) Structural notes conforming to latest standards IS 456, IS-800, IS-875, IS-816, IS-1893, IS-2062, IS-4326, IS-13920 and any other relevant Indian Standard of the building shall be adopted and given in drawings

(ii) SBC as per soil testing may be obtained from GE (AF) Chandigarh

(iii) The consultant shall be responsible for third party vetting from IIT/NIT duly signed by authorised signatory (structural designer only) on behalf of the institute and not from a professor/individual of the institute in his personal capacity.

Other Additional Notes applicable to BoQ:-

(i) Supply of design calculations folder alongwith STAAD model and output file both in hard and soft copy-06 (06 copies each) and 06 sets of original tracing hard copy (A1 size) on 'Gateway' brand tracing paper alongwith soft copies of drawings - 06 Numbers shall be made as directed.

(ii) The consultant shall prepare and submit Yard Sticks calulations of buildings showing various stages based on detailed estimate for stagewise payment to contractor during execution of work.

(iii) The consultant shall prepare and submit DPR and give presentation to the Accepting Officer on the date fixed by Accepting Officer during the currency of contract

(iv) The rates quoted by the consultant shall be deemed to include all the abve said works/jobs and nothing extra shall be admissible.
