Upgradation by Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Package Airconditioning Unit and allied work in( neuro ward) of GMC&H Jammu of Daikin/Carrier/Hitachi/Blue Star/Voltas make with actual capacity of 15 TR (7.5x2 TR compressor capacity) at ambient of 44 deg C with the following details of work: a) EVAPORATIVE UNIT: Units shall be factory assembled, wired, piped and tested. Units shall have DX coils with copper tubes and bonded aluminium fins for highly efficient heat transfer. Indoor Units shall have blowers with motors for adequate amount of air circulation and low noise. Indoor Units shall have filters, which are easily cleanable and replaceable. All components of Units should be easily accessible for connection, repairs and maintenance. Units shall have very low noise. The job includes dismantling the old unit and erection of the new unit in place of old and buy back of old unit whose cost will be deducted from the actual cost of the new unit. Replacement of control panel old one with new panel along with latest safety features. b) REFRIGERANT PIPING: All refrigerant piping should be installed strictly as per the instructions and recommendations of air conditioning equipment manufacturer. All joints shall be sweat joints using low temperature brazing or silver solder. The copper pipes and fittings shall be thoroughly cleaned internally before joining them together. The piping shall be kept clean of dirt, dust etc continuously while constructing the joints. After the installation of piping, the system shall be pressure tested using Nitrogen at a pressure of 20 kg/sq.cm. The pressure shall be maintained in the system for a minimum period of 2 hours. The system shall then be evacuated to a minimum vacuum of 700mm of Mercury and shall be held upto a minimum period of 2 hours. Vacuum gauge shall be used for measuring vacuum and finally charging of R-410/R22 refrigerant as per requirement. c) Miscellaneous: Complete job includes providing & fitting of isolation pads under the units for vibration-free functioning, drain line shall be provided upto nearest drain trap, suitable M.S. angle iron supporting frame duly painted shall be provided for the condensing unit and supporting arrangement for the indoor units. Complete wiring /controls in line with the existing system. d) Testing: Complete testing of the units at full load to ensure the actual refrigeration capacity of the evaporative unit as tested at site shall not be below the capacity under conditions as specified. e) Provision of joining of supply duct to existing duct with dampers – 2 nos fabricated with 22 gauge GSS duct as per class-07 GI sheet, reference standard:IS 277 latest edition ducting with standard make and fabrication as per SMACNA standard with silicon sealant wherever necessary for air tight construction and other connected works like supports etc. f) P/F of of electrical panel with all controls, MCCB, SPP, relays, Contractors etc as per requirements
