Providing and Fixing of Permeable paver blocks with grass padding having compressive strength of at least 30 MPa and a water absorption rate below 6%. 60 mm in thickness. The paver units should include voids or honeycomb cells between 20% and 40% of their surface area to allow grass growth and infiltration, with the surface finished to be anti-skid and UV resistant. A geotextile separation layer (non-woven, 150–200 GSM) should be placed over the compacted subgrade to prevent migration of fine particles into the drainage layers. Edging restraints made of concrete, aluminum, or galvanized steel must be installed around the perimeter to prevent lateral movement of the pavers during loading.For grass padding, the voids within the paver block structure should be filled with a soil mix composed of 70% coarse sand, 20% topsoil, and 10% organic compost to ensure high permeability and proper grass root development. Turf or grass seed (such as Bermuda, Zoysia, or hardy local varieties) should be planted within the cells, ensuring the soil is lightly compacted to avoid settlement. The filled cells should be irrigated regularly for the first 2–4 weeks until the grass is fully established, and a slow-release fertilizer may be applied to improve growth. Adequate drainage must be maintained around the installation site, with slope gradients of 1–2% to avoid prolonged ponding while still enabling infiltration. The overall system should be capable of achieving an infiltration rate of at least 100–300 mm/hr depending on aggregate gradation and soil conditions, ensuring compliance with stormwater
Re-laying 80 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking Paving blocks of M- 40 grade manufactured by block making machine equipped with steel mould clamped to a strong vibratory table with hydraulic pressure for compaction of concrete as per IRC SP 63 -2014 and of approved size and design / shape laid in Ordinary Grey Colour and pattern over and including 40 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.
