Carrying out Sub Soil Investigation (SSI) for all type of soil (except boring in rock ) up to a depth of 30.m or refusal (N=100) for each foundation location as per IRC :78-2000 and submission of the SSI report to the engineer incharge for approval . Preparation & submission of design calculation & drawing of foundation, sub-structures, super-structures as per relevant IRC codes and SSI report 2 (two) copies each of design & drawing of each bridge to be submitted for approval and 8 (eight) copies after approval of competent authority .

Approach works
Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (i) Private land.
Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.
